Testování schopnosti hodnotitelů při senzorické analýze
ZELENÁ, Andrea
The present thesis deals with testing the capabilities of assessors in sensory analysis focused on examining the sensitivity of the sense of taste. Evaluation was carried out among students of Faculty of Agriculture, University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice, in splitting into different groups according to gender, age, field of study, health status, in terms of smokers-nonsmokers, depending on season and time of day at which the evaluation was conducted. At present, when occures the glut of food in economically developed countries, consumer visors besides nutritional choices and wholesomeness also sensory quality, which is the only one he can consider himself on the spot. Foods are preferred or rejected by the feelings that have developed on the basis of experience. It was therefore necessary to create an objective analytical method for assessing foods to ensure the elimination of interferences and subjective factors. A suitable method is called sensory analysis, in which the organoleptic properties of food are determined solely by human senses. It affects such qualitative indicators, which can not be characterized by instrumentation. The results obtained indicate that there are differences within the studied groups. More successful were: women than men, completely healthy assessors than assessors with mild symptoms of colds, winter (December 2014) group of assessors than spring (April 2015) group, morning group (7:00 to 10:00) than afternoon (12:00 to 15:00) group, assessors aged 22 years than other age groups, assessors Animal science than assessors in other fields. Smokers were surprisingly more successful than nonsmokers.

In this Bachelor's thesis, I tried to describe the history of the Roma people, briefly: where do they come from, what made them to exile from their homeland, and when did they settle in Europe and in Bohemia. Particularly, I wanted to think about drastic ordinance of the Roma people's banishment from the country and their violent assimilation in the era of Marie Terezie's reign, the prejudices persisting in our subconsciousness up to the present day. Last but not least, I attended to the era of communism, finding there possible reasons of the problems accompanied after the year 1989. My goal was to depict the situation of the Roma people in Broumov where I focused on several branches: unemployment and education, being closely connected with each other. First, I am concerned with the particular data from Broumov, the characteristics of the city in terms of the inhabitants' structure and job possibilities. Concerning the question of unemployment, the progress is described and possible causes are being found, which is also connected with the branch of criminality. Furthermore, the living possibilities of the Roma people are discussed. Nevertheless, I consider the education possibility of the Roma people in Broumov as one of the most important, which I pay more attention to. In the end, as a prevention of...

Activities of Special pyrotechnical squad of Police of CR during hypermarket bomb-attack
MACH, Vladimír
The theme of my bachelor work is {\clqq}Activities of Special pyrotechnical squad of Police of the Czech Republic during hypermarket bomb-attack announcement (in South Bohemia region)``. I have chosen this theme because I have been working as a member of the police SWAT team and I cooperate with other units during police interventions and bomb-attack announcements very often. I want to write about and we must realize that these people are every day in pyrotechnist work because I think that the success of the intervention depends just on their work. I could personally make certain of the fact that pyrotechnist work is extremely exacting because of professionalism and a risk danger of their life to protect other people from possible threats. South Bohemian Pyrotechnists are professionals but their quality cannot be fully used due to problematical communication with other police units, units of the integrated rescue system and stuff from places threaten by bomb-attacks. I have devided my work into several parts {--} in the first part I will describe theoretical aspects of pyrotechnists work not only during the intervention with an accent on a necessity of cooperation with other units. Then I will describe practical methods of operation beginning with announcement of bomb-attacks and finishing by the police intervention. In the end I will try to show the way how to solve the problem of cooperation concerning the South Bohemian pyrotechists. In my work I would like to underline the cooperation of all units of the integrated rescue system when lives of lots of people are in danger. I would like to describe work of pyrotechnists-professionals who have the courage to protect people lives. Moreover I want to mention the problem that the public is not informed enough as for problems of bomb-attacks.

Effect of drought stress on selected winter wheat yield formation components within pot and field experiimental design
Hlaváčová, Marcela ; Pohanková, Eva ; Klem, Karel ; Hlavinka, Petr ; Trnka, Miroslav
The object of this study was to find out what is the behaviour of the same winter wheat variety (Bohemia) plants cultivated within pot and field experiment. Therefore, the main aim of this study was to verify (based on the pot experiment results) whether the pot experiment (that is limited by the soil area) does not substantially affect plant reactions. The pot experiment was carried out in growth chambers where daily temperature course, relative humidity (RH) and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) were set via protocols. The pots were exposed to the drought stress for 14 days with the daily maximum temperature 26 °C from noon to 2 p.m. The pots were split into 2 groups: (1) Dry where the soil moisture within pots were maintained below 30% of the maximum water holding capacity, (2) Wet where the soil moisture did not decrease below 70% of the maximum water holding capacity. The plants within Wet variant were considered as a control group. The pots were placed onto the concrete floor of a vegetation hall (where the plants were exposed to the weather conditions) prior and after stress regime exposition. The field experiment was conducted within experimental station in Bystřice nad Pernštejnem belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands in the Czech Republic. The drought stress was established through the transparent roofs installed above plants’ tops level in the field. The control experimental plot without roofs was nearby there as well. The plants were harvested when the full maturity was reached and the selected yield formation components were evaluated.
