Creating a Secure Company in the Selected Industry

This diploma thesis deals with the investigation of possible dangers threatening human health+ that may arise during activities in the construction company P&P Stavební společnost and the health and safety management system in the company. The introductory chapter introduces the construction company and its focus. The next chapter presents the theoretical background and concepts occurring in the thesis. In the following chapter, the risks of a specific company order were identified and quantified using the FMEA method, and the completed "Check-list" required to obtain the Safe Company certificate is given. Lastly, there are proposed solutions to reduce the identified risks and to successfully obtain the Safe Company certificate.
Electronic signature in practice

This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation and development of a system for management and security of digital certificates used for signing documents. The application created in this thesis is conceptualised as a console application used from command line of a system. This solution is justified by the possibility of being continued as a graphic user interface extension or adopted by another application. The application allows for the creation of a user account, through which a person can import their certificates with passwords into the application and subsequently use the certificates in signing PDF documents or PNG files. Algorithms ensuring the security of saved data are implemented by the application. The theoretical part of this thesis analyzes the creation and work with certificates and signature keys in real life, including the creation of own self-signed certificate. The theoretical part concludes with the testing of usage of the certificates.
Electronic Mail Room of the BUT

This dissertation thesis attends to problems of electronic registry for VUT. It deals with the principal of electronic registry functioning, electronic signature and it compares offer of the commercial registries. It goes in for the proposal and implementation of the electronic registry for VUT. Since the using of the e- registry on all public service Office was legalized the people can avoid long queues and the employees are avoided from the stress before dead lines. By the communication through the electronic registry is very important the electronical signature. It is almost a full-valued and lawful alternative to the physical signature. For its safety and utility this system employes asymmetric codes and hash algorithm. Presently in many states, where the electronical signature is legalized it is used together with standard X 509 which defines the format of certificates, organization and action of certification authorities. The certification autority ensures safe connection of the person and general key for using of the electronical signature.
Electronic identification and trust services in electronic transactions

Bachelors thesis talking about problematics of electronic identification and trust services in electronic transactions. It describes and explains concepts used in the area of electronical communication mentioned in regulation eIDAS. Solutions demonstrating trust services are part of the work. As practical part of this thesis was created laboratory exercise, in which will students try the possibilities offered by certification authority. The goal of this work is explanation and definition of concepts according to eIDAS regulations and realization of system demonstrating these services.
Solution for registration of sales

This thesis deals with a comparison and an evaluation of chosen solutions or products/services for registration of sales. For registration of sales were selected 8 solutions which are evaluated by the method of multi-criteria evaluation (15 criterions) and the output is one number in a range from 1 to 10 which determines quality and value of the solution. The selected solutions cover all the types from simple SW applications to the POS systems. Accomplishment of the objective is beneficial, as the comparisons and evaluations are independent in this thesis and also because the web portals based on comparisons of solutions for registration of sales focus on earnings. The second part of this thesis deals with a creation of an exemplary software application for registration of sales. The application is programmed in C# programming language and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 development environment. The application sends data to the system of registration of sales and receives a response (fiscalization). The whole communication takes place in a non-production environment known as Playground, which is intended for developers. A part of the attachment of this thesis is a set of source codes which developers can use for their POS application or system. A benefit from the exemplary application is a completion of blank spaces which were not previously filled by Financial Authority. Financial Authority only published a technical specification which is only an interpretation of the law.
Accommodation facilities aimed at specific clientele (families with children, cyclists)

The aim of the bachelors thesis is to characterize accommodation facilities aimed at specific clientele (families with children, cyclists) and their analysis. The theoretical part deals with accommodation facilities and services, characterizes the main segments of tourists, specific requirements of families with children and cyclists for accommodation facilities and gives examples of good practice of baby-friendly and cyclist-oriented accommodation facilities in selected countries of the European Union. The practical part represents an analysis of certified accommodation facilities aimed at families with children and cyclists on the Czech market. The last chapter of the thesis includes the authors recommendations for improving the quality of accommodation services for their future development and proposals for better promotion of accommodation facilities.
Brand Management of Regional Brands

The aim of the thesis is to introduce and evaluate regional branding occurring in the Czech republic, other countries of the European Union and the EU as a whole. On the basis of the information, the strategies of individual brand programs in the Czech Republic are evaluated and possibilities for improvement are presented. The basic methods of qualitative research used in the practical part of the thesis are the analysis of secondary data and field research. Using identified facts, own regional product is designed to meet the required criteria of the selected territory. In the form of a case study that is created as a manual, its communication activities are designed and the most appropriate branding program, including an explanation of the certification process, has been chosen.
The institution of an authorized inspector (surveyor) in case law of Czech courts

This diploma thesis concentrates on approved inspector's activities and protection of the concerned persons' rights especially from the perspective of jurisprudence. Original intention of the legislator was to unburden the builders and building Authorities by introducing the possibility to use the authorised persons' services. That person was located on the border of private and public law. This status was not defined correctly by the lawmaker and it resulted in many legal disputes. It was necessary to react by adoption of the complex amendment. Aim of the thesis is to analyze the legislation and to pronounce if the original intention of the legislator was fulfilled. Also to proposese changes for the future legislation.
A tool for validating electronic signatures on PDF documents

The subject of this graduation thesis is to study internal electronic signatures in PDF documents. The thesis introduces general principles of electronic signatures, deals with the internal structure of PDF documents including the connection of electronic signatures and describes the process of verifying an electronic signature. An integral part of this thesis is an implementation of an application, which performs verification of electronic signatures in a PDF document. The aim of this application is to verify the digital signature embedded in a PDF document according to the current legislation of the Czech Republic, while allowing users to change extensively the rules for evaluating the validity of the signature. The position and activities of an authorized inspector under the Building Act

Presented thesis deals with approved inspector as a major entity of simplified procedure. It is focused on the origin of his function, internal organization and impact of his functioning. Author brings comprehensive view of current problems, primarily from point of view of judicature, specialized literature and comparison with foreign legislation. Author considers a possibility of amendment of the act besides an analysis of current legislation. Grammatical or teleological interpretation of the provisions governing the simplified procedure doesn't bring a satisfactory answer to the question of whether the legislation intended for governing bodies applies on the activity of authorized inspector. Whether through negligence or intent the legislature concerning authorized inspector is conceptual hybrid. In an attempt to clarify its functioning and to define it either a subject of public or private law, concept of simplified procedure deforms to disadvantage of different group of subjects and loses partly its original meaning. The only way out of this confusing situation is amendment of Building Act in favor of unambiquous concept of simplified procedure.
