Readiness of kindergarten on inclusive education for children with visual impairments in the South Bohemian Region

This submitted thesis deals with the exclusive education of kindergarten aged children. The main purpose of this thesis is to chart the preparedness of the kindergarteners for inclusive education of children with visual impairment in the South Bohemian Region. The subject is being processed according to theoretical and practical background of special education and related fields. The researched area of interest is judged on a basis of set conditions based on a concept of inclusive pedagogy. Analysis of the questionnaire research is bringing a view of preschool educators who have experience with the education of children with visual impairment. Examples of good practice are presented, which complement and support a view of information gained with first grade educators, who also have experience with teaching visual impaired children. Outcomes for practice are made as Activities Concepts or children with visual impairments. Concepts are created as suggestions or inspiration for kindergarten educators, where there are visually impaired children. Activities are created so they can be applied throughout the day care centre's routine, and involves the participation of all preschool children.

Preparedness of Finnish Education System to Curricula Reform

This thesis introduces a topic of current educational reform in Finland. The main goal is to describe a process of implementation of current curricula reform in Finland and evaluate a preparedness of teachers, students of teacher education and management of curricula to curricula reform. In theoretical part, we define "curriculum" and "curriculum reform", then we briefly introduce change management, reasons for successful or unsuccessful reform and specifics of finnish education system. The research part analyses the Finnish National Core Curriculum from 2004 and 2014 in detail. It also analyses interview with teachers, students of teacher education and management of reform. Based on research part of the thesis, we can say that teachers and students have been prepared in a field of knowledge, however they have not been prepared for implementing the ideas of reform into their everyday teaching. The management of reform has been prepared for implementation. Management includes teacher and other stakeholders into creating of the new curricula, the reform is communicated and finances for the reform are secured. Conclusion of the thesis summerize answers for research questions and brings recommendations for a further research.

The municipality solution analysis in readiness for extraordinary situation drought in the South Bohemia region.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the needs and preparedness of municipalities with extended competence of the South Bohemian Region for an extraordinary event of drought. To achieve the stated goal, a search of available literature and foreign sources was carried out, which helped obtain the basic information necessary to understand this issue. A qualitative research method based on a structured interview was used to analyze the needs and readiness of municipalities with extended competence. This research was carried out among the crisis management personnel of municipalities with extended competence in the territory of the South Bohemian Region. Other experts such as those involved in the crisis management department of the South Bohemian Regional Office, the Department of the Environment of Municipalities with Extended Powers or the Fire Brigade of the South Bohemian Region were also questioned. The available documents also examined details of selected aspects that increase the resilience and preparedness of municipalities with extended jurisdiction for drought. These documents examined the extent of involvement of state administration and self-government in drought preparedness issues and the way of implementation in the analyzed documents. Afterwards, the information collected was arranged and evaluated. The research has shown that the preparedness of the municipalities with extended powers for the extraordinary event of drought is insufficient. Documentation dealing with drought issues has not been elaborated for individual administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence and has not been incorporated in the emergency plan of the region or the crisis plan of the municipality with extended competence. Another problem is the insufficient information of municipalities with extended competence on drought episodes in the administrative districts of municipalities with extended competence in the territory of the South Bohemian Region. The research also identified a problem with a low number of drinking water sources and insufficient provision of alternative or emergency drinking water sources.

The preparedness of mayors municipalities of South Bohemian region on extraordinary events and crisis situations

The aimof this work was to assess the preparedness of mayors of municipalities in the South Bohemian Region for extraordinary events and crisis situations, in accordance with the valid Crisis Management Education Concept. A total of 570 municipalities were approached, 56 replies returned. As it is the isme of extraordinary events and crisis situations, the mayors of municipalities should be adequately informed and prepared. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of laws on the responsibilities of mayors of municipalities and municipalities in terms of extraordinary events and crisis situations. In the work 5 laws are defined and than charter about cooperation of the mayor of the municipality with the commander of the intervention and flow of information and documents at the municipallevel in the event of anextraordinary event. It is ananalysis of Act No. 128/2000 Coll., on municipalities (Municipalfacilities), Act No. 239/2000 Coll., on anintegrated rescue system and on the amendment of some laws, Act No. 254/2001 Coll., on crisis management and on the amendment of some laws, Act No. 254/2001 Coll. On water and on the amendment of some laws and Act No. 241/2000 Coll., on economic measures for crisis situations and on the amendment of somerelated laws. To test the hypothesis "The awareness of the mayors of municipalities of the South Bohemian Region in the field of extraordinary events and crisis situations doesn´t reach 75%" an extensive questionnaire survey was carried out. The questionnaire contained 51 questions and was divided into 4 sections, namely information about the respondent, aspects of preparedness, information aspects and other aspects. The 75% of the success rate of the correct answers was set to assess the awareness of municipal mayors. The results showed insufficient awareness, almost 25%. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the preparedness and information of the mayors of municipalities is insufficient, and points to the need for the Mayor of the municipalities to become more familiar with this issue.

Awareness of police officers of the District Department of Pribram about possible emergencies in the cadastre of Pribram

The bachelor work analyzes readiness and awareness of police officers assigned to the OOP Příbram for extraordinary events. Furthermore, it deals with the risks associated with the leakage of dangerous chemical substances connected with this territory, the result of which is an information document that can be used in practice. The whole thesis may be divided into several parts. In the first part, a theoretical one, it summarises knowledge regarding Integrated Rescue System and knowledge regarding extraordinary events or crisis situations. I am dealing here with the most important terms relating to the topic together with their characteristics.The research part is the most important part of my thesis. The research has been carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey which focused on several areas. These areas are readiness and awareness of police officers assigned to the OOP Příbram. These areas may be divided into emergency reporting and awareness, knowledge of the Integrated Rescue System, and readiness and awareness of the leakage of dangerous chemicals in the Příbram area. The results of the bachelor thesis showed that the awareness and readiness of the police officers assigned to the District Police Department of Příbram related to the extraordinary events of the Příbram City is high. Additionally, the knowledge of the Integrated Rescue System and other circumstances of managing rescue and disposal operations or various levels of intervention management are also high. Nevertheless, the readiness or awareness of police officers of the District Police Department of Příbram for extraordinary events of dangerous chemical substances leakage is small.

Readiness preschoolers to write in first grade

The thesis deals with the formation of the initial graphomotor skills in the last year of kindergarten education with connection to the system of teaching writing in the first grade of primary school. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part is generally aimed at preschool age and a system of preschoolers preparation, especially in the formation of hygiene and work habits. It also deals with the issue of left-handedness. The second part of my thesis is based on research of practical use. The research was conducted in kindergarten schools with a focus on the health and work habits (proper grip and pen direction for right-handers and left-handers, proper seating, etc.). The attention was also paid to uppercase block letters (mirror writing) and graphomotor development (graphomotor exercises). The results are compared with theoretical part and supported by extensive appendix.

The readiness of beginning teachers in primary school to solve disciplinary problems in the class.

The thesis is focused on exploration of beginning teacher in primary school, and in terms of its readiness for a meeting with pupils' discipline problems. The aim of the thesis is to determine the level of readiness of beginning teachers in primary schools to solve disciplinary problems in the class. The other goal is to consult the undergraduate training of beginning teachers, and answer the question to what extent they are prepared for disciplinary problems in practice by the college. Another goal is to determine the real readiness of beginning teachers to solve problematic behavior of pupils, and in terms of real and outlined cases.

3 Abstract Title of a document: The threat of terrorism Aim of a document: 1) Brief history of terrorism in the close historical overview of key periods in terms of negotiations, who bearing signs of terrorist acts. 2) Clearly classify most famous terrorist groups. 3) To map and analyse the awareness members of the Police of the Czech Republic about possible threats arising from terrorism. 4) Map their awareness possibility of eliminating any consequences arising in this context. Readiness for managing the basic school requirements

The final thesis is concerned with the readiness of preschool children for joining the grammar school. The aim of the work is to find out, how successful are the parents and nursery school teachers in readiness of preschool children for dealing with grammar schools requirements.Theoretical part describes important areas that affect total personal development of a child. The first chapter is devoted to physiological and psychological personal development of a child from its birth to joining the grammar school. The second chapter describes the influence of the family setting on the child. The third chapter informs of tasks and aims of a nursery school and its importance for the preschool children. The fourth chapter concerns with the definition of terms school maturity and school readiness and it also deals with the question of postponement of compulsory education.In the practical part there are recorded results of discussions among parents, nursery school teachers and teachers of the first classes of grammar school. Evaluation of these discussions brings the answer for the question, how to prepare preschool children for dealing with grammar schools requirements.
