Physically chemical properties of epitaxial films CeO2/Cu(110)
Aulická, Marie ; Veltruská, Kateřina (advisor) ; Nehasil, Václav (referee)
In this work ways of preparation of thin epitaxial cerium oxide film on Cu(110) surface were studied. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray photoelectron difraction (XPD), low energy electron difraction (LEED), ion scattering spectroscopy (ISS) and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) were used for the characterization of prepared systems. The island structure of CeO2 was prepared by the method of reactive evaporation in oxygen atmosphere. The influence of temperature on the electronic structure and morphology was studied. At the temperature above 550 ˚C partial reduction to Ce2O3 and reordering of the islands to the CeO2(331) structure was observed. The ceria promoted oxidation of copper surface was approved, since the clean c(6x2) reconstruction of the surface was observed at the oxygen exposure 1,5 order of magnitude lower then on Cu(110) alone. The other model system was prepared by cerium evaporation to the oxygen precovered Cu(110) surface. The mix of (2x1) and c(6x2) surface reconstruction was formed by oxygen exposition at 300 ˚C. Cerium was deposited on this surface, also at 300 ˚C. During the following heating to 500 ˚C the formation of epitaxial film Ce2O3(0001) was observed, accompanied by the formation of large hundreds nm long smooth band structures in the [11̄0] direction.

Plays by Václav Vlček
Tauchenová, Tereza ; Topolová, Barbara (advisor) ; Janoušek, Pavel (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with Václav Vlček, a Czech prominent author of the second half of the 19th century (1839-1908), and his dramatic production. The introduction contains the information concerning the author himself, his social status, and Czech cultural life of that time. The attention is paid to two most interesting art disputes he was in with the forthcoming young modernist generation. Then we will primarily focus on his dramatic production, his historical tragedies, comedies and psychological plays. We will try to analyse common features in his drama, focusing mainly on his heroines modelled on the basis of Romantic heroines, and the characters of rulers who are depicted as saints and therefore lose all their dramatic nature due to their faultlessness. Next chapter is devoted to a partial reconstruction of the form of Vlček's plays performed in the Prozatímní divadlo (The Prague Provisional Theatre) and the National Theatre. Rare extant material, especially the two stage books and a prompt book, will be used. The chapter also describes criticism of that time, mainly the two most significant critics, Jan Neruda and Josef Durdík. By means of textual examples we will try to analyse Vlček's dramatical language which was very similar to the language of many of his speeches and proclamations. The aim...

Svitavy Town Square - Reconstruction Design
Voříšková, Zuzana ; Matuszková, Radka (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of bachelor's thesis is the design of hard surfaces in the square in Svitavy (region of Pardubice). The proposal is to increase and improve the usability of cultural and civic public space. This will be achieved by changing the architextural arrangment of the reorganization of transport, which involves the partial diversion and relocation od parking spaces.

Molecular phylogenetics and geometric morphometrics of aerophytic green algae of Coccomyxa/Pseudococcomyxa s.l. complex
Nemjová, Katarína ; Neustupa, Jiří (advisor) ; Hampl, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis deals with molecular diversity and shape variation of the traditionally delimited unicellular coccoid genera Coccomyxa SCHMIDLE and Pseudococcomyxa KORŠIKOV (Trebouxiophyceae, Viridiplantae). The complex of these traditional genera was found monophyletic position within the class Trebouxiophyceae on the basis of 18S rDNA sequences. Subdivision of this lineage into individual clades was based on 18S rDNA, ITS1 and ITS2 sequences. The results did not confirm delimitation of traditional genera. However, they suggest ecological differentiation of individual clades. The results of phylogenetic analyses were further supported by reconstructions of ITS2 secondary structures and analyses of the compensatory base changes (CBC) among individual clades. The mutual relationships among clades remained, however, partially unclear. Geometric morphometric variation of cell shapes illustrated pattern that was mostly not correlated with molecular data. This indicates high degree of evolutionary plasticity and possible unreliability of these morphological features in taxonomy of the group. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Metody zakládání, pěstování a obnovy DVP pro trvale udržitelný rozvoj v zemědělské krajině s využitím vybraných technologických postupů (kritická rešerše)
Kratochvílová, Jana
Thesis deals with the ways of creation, production and restoration of woody vegetation ele-ments, focusing on the soil protection functions. By reviewing each individual work of au-thors, unifying and creating his own point of view so at the conference a summary of the methods of the creation, production and restoration of woody vegetation elements, focusing on sustainable development. It can be said that we can draw up a comprehensive and handouts according to the methodology for the management of woody vegetation elements by type of ecosystem. There are two methods of setting up DVP sowing and planting. They are very different in terms of having regard to the soil protection functions of the DVP. There are special ways of growing and reconstruction for partial types DVP and their further use.

Hayek's concept of individualism
Doleček, Pavel ; Znoj, Milan (advisor) ; Bíba, Jan (referee)
This thesis aims to reconstruct meanings of individualism in works of F. A. Hayek and to prove that individualism serves as a standpoint to his epistemological advocacy of liberalism. First of all is presented an analytical framework which stands on distinction of two degrees of liberal argumentation and defines possible meanings of individualism. Subsequently methodological individualism is discussed to clarify Hayek's concept of social sciences and his critique of scientism. The political individualism shows complementarities between epistemological arguments and general liberal postulates. Finally is Hayek's position confronted with Karl Popper. Here we discuss their partial differences and agreements.

In the present work we study use of graph matching algorithms for registration of important image points obtained from di erent sources. We especially focus on acquiring more precise data for nal 3D model reconstruction from a large set of images with already known corresponding points. We give a short overview of graph matching problem including de nitions, computational complexity and various approaches and examples of using graph matching algorithms for solving various problems in many elds. Then we propose our algorithm for approximation of attributed relational minimum cost sub{graph isomorphism problem that is able to match a large number of huge graphs in reasonable time. We also give a short overview of point correspondence problem and we implement suitable edge and vertex metrics for matching partial 2D and 3D model geometry and we test proposed algorithm on both real and synthetic data. We restrict our work to weak point correspondences supposing the nal reconstructed 3D model is built-up from faces.

Epistemologic limits of selected approaches to language
Beneš, Martin ; Lehečková, Eva (referee) ; Macurová, Alena (advisor)
The aim of this text is to comment and critically evaluate the epistemology of selected approaches to language: namely European structuralism (Saussure, Hjelmslev, Prague School), generative grammar, the linguistics of la parole and text linguistics and cognitive approaches to language. In particular, the aim is to comment epistemological limits of these approaches with regards to the two basic facts. Firstly, with regard to the fact that what these approaches define as their object field is in fact only a partial section of the whole subject field of linguistics (looked upon through the purposes of this work as a specifically structured communication model). Secondly, this text will investigate the relations between these approaches and an important claim of the philosopher of science T. S. Kuhn. Kuhn in his widely known book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions says: "There is, I think, no theory-independent way to reconstruct phrases like ‚really there'." (Kuhn, 1970, p. 206). That means whether claims based on epistemology of particular approaches describe objective reality or only give us a description of their own theoretical constructs.

Acrobatic gymnastics recruiting and talent selection
Vostrovský, Jiří ; Chrudimský, Jan (referee) ; Marek, Jaroslav (advisor)
Title: Recruitment and Selection of Talents in Acrobatic Gymnastics This thesis contains the processed technique from general process of selection of talented individuals including recommended motoric tests, which should be unified for all acrobatic gymnastics clubs. This work also includes specific views followed by demands for future acrobatic gymnasts. These views can contribute to a broader perspective on the matter by trainers and this should partially ensure the right method for the selection of talents. Significant parts of the thesis are appendices where primary and continuous observations of individuals are registered. The motoric and mental evolution of an individual can be evaluated and accurate findings from this evaluation can be concluded thanks to this material. Furthermore, the thesis covers the outcome of enquiries relating to this topic made to international gymnastics clubs. Key words: Acrobatic gymnastics, sport preparation, talent, selection

Alfréd Radok's dramatization and staging of Heinrich Böll's "The Clown" in the context of Radok's productions in German speaking countries
Slavíčková, Eva ; Just, Vladimír (referee) ; Stehlíková, Eva (advisor)
The intention of the author of this diploma thesis is to acquaint its readers with the theatre productions in German speaking countries by the foremost Czech theatre director Alfred Radok (1914- 1976). They date back to the period of the 1960s and 1970s. So far only minimum attention has been paid to them in the Czech environment. The productions include: A. P. Čechov - A. a. M. Radoks: The Swedish Match in the Theater in der Josefstadt (Vienna, 1965); M. Gorkij: The Last Ones in the Müncher Kammerspiele (Munich, 1965); F. G. Lorca: The House of Bernarda Alba in the Schiller Theater, Schlosspark Theater (West Berlin, 1966) and H. Böll - A. a. M. Radoks: The Clown in the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf, 1970). All the above productions, with the exception of The Clown, were staged by Radok in the Czech (Prague) and in the German speaking environment. In the centre of the present thesis is Radok's dramatisation and Düsseldorf production of The Clown. In addition to the partial reconstruction of The Clown, in which Radok again used his typical combination of film projection and live performance (he used the same procedure in The Last Ones on the stage in Munich); this thesis gives a brief comparison of The Clown, as dramatised by the Radoks, and the original novel by Heinrich Böll, and also other theatre...
