Regional-economic aspects of Prague-Ruzyně airport

International airports play very important role in transport infrastructure of each state because they bring some contribution to economic increase. Main attributes are proper localization of airport and stable demand on air transportation. If these two basic conditions are fulfilled, airport can be considered as a pole of the growth and development which increases employment and also helps to other regional development. This diploma thesis should analyze the international airport Prague--Ruzyně and evaluates economic contribution, spatial and social-economic development of the airport with the view of present trends in civil aviation, regulatory system of European Union and of the Czech Republic and with regard for complete progress of world economy.

Lokalizace automobilových firem v České republice

Práce se zabývá lokalizací automobilových firem v České republice. Hlavním cílem je zjistit lokalizační faktory nově příchozích firem automobilového průmyslu do České republiky. Práce se zaměřuje na historický vývoj lokalizačních teorií, ekonomické aspekty lokalizace, prostorovou analýzu (zejména na lokalizační kvocient a lokalizační křivku). Praktická část obsahuje charakteristiky dvou největších nově příchozích automobilových firem do České republiky, vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, výpočet lokalizačních kvocientů a sestavení lokalizační křivky.

The Airport as an Element of Regional Economic Development

This thesis examines the development of selected regional airports in the Czech Republic. The first part of this research focuses on the general field of air transportation, and concentrates primarily on airports. More specifically, this thesis describes various aspects of the operations of an airport, paying particular attention to the economic features of airport operations and management. The second central part of this research is devoted to presenting a set of detailed case studies of three regional airports, namely Plzeň -- Líně, Vodochody and České Budějovice. This section of the dissertation describes and analyses the context, strength and weaknesses of each of these airports using a specific evaluation framework. The final part of this thesis concludes by outlining, in terms of the evidence presented, (1) the potential for further development of the three regional airport case studies, and (2) proposals for overcoming specific barriers to further growth.

Práce se zabývá problematikou technik, zařízení a služeb lokalizace mobilního objektu. Přináší přehled technických možností lokalizace a neavigace. Obsahuje analýzu trhu navigačních přístrojů v ČR založených na systému GPS. Přehled obchodních modelů založených na lokalizaci mobilního objektu. Dále obsahuje detailní analýzu trhu v oblasti služeb určení polohy motorových vozidel, faktické a cenové charakteristiky poskytovaných služeb a jejich porovnání.
