Unwarranted Energy Consuption Occurence Analysis Using of On-line Consuption Evaluation Provided by Remonte Reading Instalations
Samuel, Tomáš ; Kristek, Petr (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The target of this project is to show the analyses of unauthorized subscriptions electricity consumption and provide the option of distribution networks screening on-line through istalment the devices providing remote control. This way of elimination the causes of unauthorized consumption has been not commonly used in the Czech Republic yet, it is pre-pilot project. We should be announced about the ways of measuring the electricity consumption used in past and nowadays. At present, there is a significant increase in case of unauthorized donations of electricity. Operators of distribution networks pay increased attention to these issues and develop efforts to reduce non-technical losses in the distribution and trade in electricity, which in its consequences lead to increase in costs with an impact in electricity prices. On business conditions and performance of government in the energy sectors and amendment of some laws the definition of certain terms of irregular donation electricity characterized by the provision of energy bill, which is a precondition for their qualifications. The analyses of unauthorized consumption based on on-line measuring with tending to make it easier and cheaper is useful for future, of course it might substitute the pretty expensive ways of measuring actual energy consumption. The result of it should by presentation of numeric energy flux diagram. There is a growing frequency and social insecurity of unauthorized of electricity and it is primarily on the distribution system operator, consistently privileges resulting from the energy bill and other generally binding regulations. The system lead to revealing unjustified interference with measuring equipment for which data on consumption are registered or recorded incorrectly or other useful functions.

Prediction of Time Series Using Statistical Methods
Beluský, Ondrej ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Schwarz, Josef (advisor)
Many companies consider essential to obtain forecast of time series of uncertain variables that influence their decisions and actions. Marketing includes a number of decisions that depend on a reliable forecast. Forecasts are based directly or indirectly on the information derived from historical data. This data may include different patterns - such as trend, horizontal pattern, and cyclical or seasonal pattern. Most methods are based on the recognition of these patterns, their projection into the future and thus create a forecast. Other approaches such as neural networks are black boxes, which uses learning.

Evolution of the genetic code and classification of oxymonads
Šrámová, Eliška ; Hampl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Čepička, Ivan (referee)
Oxymonads are a group of heterotrophic flagellates living in low oxygen environment. These protists inhabit mainly the gut of xylophagous insects (cockroaches, termites), with an exception of the genus Monocercomonoides, which was described from the intestinal contents of many vertebrates. On the basis of molecular data, Oxymonadida are classified into the supergroup Excavata (Cavalier-Smith, 2002; Simpson et al., 2006, Hampl et al. 2009). This thesis was focused on the diversity of genus Monocecomonoides from the morphologically simplest family Polymastigidae. The main goal of our work was to gather sequence data from strains isolated from a wide spectrum of hosts. We have obtained 26 partial sequences of the gene for the SSU rDNA in total, of which two belonged to another oxymonad, apparently genus Oxymonas. Our phylogenetic analysis indicated that the representatives of the genus Monocercomonoides form one group, however with a low bootstrap support. On the basis of published data about the presence of non-canonical genetic code in some oxymonads (Keeling and Leander, 2003; de Koning et al., 2008), we decided to explore this rare phenomenon in representatives of the genus Monocercomonoides. For this part of the study we gathered 9 partial sequences of α-tubulin gene. In these sequences we have not...

The effects of transition to secondary school, alcohol consumption and peer pressure on youth smoking
Pertold, Filip
This study provides further evidence for the debate on a possible smoking ban in restaurants and investigates the influence of peer pressure on smoking habits and alcohol consumption among young people. Teenagers often start smoking on a daily basis after moving from primary to secondary school. The results of the pan-European survey ESPAD indicate that more than 40% of\nyoung people in the Czech Republic smoke, which is one of the highest rates in the EU. This study looks at pupils' transition from primary to secondary school in order to identify the role peers play in young peoples' decisions to start smoking. The results of this study show that new classmates play a key role in influencing male secondary school students, but not their female counterparts. If half the students in a class smoke, a student entering that class is 10% more likely to become addicted to smoking. Classmates' influence is greatest among secondary school students who regularly visit bars and restaurants and drink alcohol. This means that youth smoking is to a certain extent encouraged by drinking alcohol in bars and restaurants. In other words, a ban on smoking in bars and restaurants, such as currently discussed, or stricter controls on the sale of alcohol to minors, could effectively reduce smoking among teenagers. The results also demonstrate that pupils' choice of secondary school has a significant knock-on effect not only on the skills and knowledge they gain, but also on smoking habits and their consumption of alcohol, which in turn affect their life expectancy and other health indicators.

Incomes in the Czech Republic and wealth distribution in the Czech Republic and abroad
Dobšová, Kateřina ; Bílková, Diana (advisor) ; Malá, Ivana (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the wealth and income situation in the Czech Republic and abroad. Particularly to point out on extremely unequal distribution of income and wealth in the world. All data used in this academic piece of work had been processed by utilizing a variety of both Czech and foreign credible sources and by collecting various statistical indicators and numerous tables so the resulting graphs are clearly constructed to show their significant characteristics relevant to the topic. It was found that the highest incomes in the Czech Republic receive men aged 30-39 years with a university degree and that the richest Cech is Petr Kellner. Wealth Czech Republic represents 0.1% of total world wealth. The Biggest share of world wealth is in the United States. There are the most dollar millionaires in the world including the richest man of the planet Bill Gates. After reading this thesis a reader should gain deeper knowledge of the income situation problematic and be able to evaluate and compare incomes in the Czech Republic from different aspects and also become more aware of distribution of wealth in the world.

The development of the circulatory diseases mortality in selected European countries
Šírová, Silvie ; Burcin, Boris (advisor) ; Hulíková Tesárková, Klára (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to compare the level and the development of mortality due to diseases of the circulatory system in selected European countries in the period 1968-2006 (8th-10th revision ICD). The development of cardiovascular mortality is contextualized into the changes of the overall mortality and viewed in connection with the structural changes of the mortality conditions in concerned countries, that means the mortality by another causes of death, mortality by age and sex. The changes of the mortality level and the proportion of most frequent circulatory diseases are analyzed within the whole group of circulatory diseases. Afterwards the thesis focuses on risk factors, prevention and the treatment methods of cardiovascular diseases. The following part includes cluster analysis based on selected mortality indicators. The analyses conclude that different development of the mortality due to diseases of the circulatory system was the major cause of divergent trends in the overall mortality between the Western European countries and the post-communist countries. The level of cardiovascular mortality in the first group of countries decreased considerably during the observed period. On the contrary the cardiovascular mortality in the post-communist countries was characterized by stagnation or even...

Ectopic pregnancy - etiology, modern diagnostic and therapeutic approach
Ondračková, Pavlína ; Drahoňovský, Jan (advisor)
Ectopic pregnancy is the most common acute abdomen in gynecology. This affection is any pregnancy in which the fertilized ovum implants outside the intrauterine cavity, most frequently in fallopian tube. Trophoblastic tissue of conceptus grows up aggressively and it causes a lesion surrounding organs and acute and massive intraabdominal bleeding is imminent. Ectopic pregnancy mortality rates is about 1‰. Risk factors are especially all of fallopian tube pathology, pelvic inflammatory disease, sexually transmitted diseases, using intrauterine device, methods of assisted reproductive technology, endometriosis, etc. Diagnosis has to be determined very fast. It results from anamnestic dates, like a irregular menstrual period or when the risk factors are present, and physical examination, it could be sings of pregnancy or sings of intraabdominal bleeding there. But most important for diagnosis are repeated ultrasonography examination and biochemical determination of the serum hCG level. Based on all of these informations it is absolutelly necessary to verify or eliminate ectopic pregnancy diagnosis quickly and the current situation has to be resolved. As a differential diagnosis should be mention any affection with intraabdominal bleeding, inflammatory processes, intrauterine pathological gravidity or torsion of...

The relationship of pulmonary function tests and exercise tolerance in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
