The thesis is divided into two parts of which the first is the theoretical one. The beginning of the work concerns with the transportation and its history in Slovakia. Next, the basic notions of public transportion and its subsystems are characterized. After dividing the public transportation, this thesis is dealing with Nitra municipal public transportation. Next, there are defined its basic notions and also the municipal transportation public system. The second part of this thesis is practical. It begins with the the description of Nitra and its history and presence concerning the transportation system. After that, the municipal transportation system of Nitra -- its network of lines, stops, its travelling guide, information systems, tariffs, vehicular park and aims of the transportation its analyzed. This capitulum finishes with the survey part, which deals with the satisfaction of the passengers. The aim of this thesis tries to analyze the municipal transportation system of Nitra. On the other, hand it is the survey of the satisfaction of passangers through the surveys.

Use of molecular-genetic methods for research of colorectal carcinoma
Janáková, Tereza ; Škutková, Helena (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor work is to carry out statistical analysis of mutations in KRAS, BRAF and PIK3CA genes. Introductory part is focused on colorectal carcinoma in general. In following part of the work, we discuss genetics of tumors, description of KRAS, BRAF and PIK3CA genes, molecular-genetic analytical methods, widely used in genetics, especially PCR. Further detection of mutations is described. In the next part of the work, we propose a method for detection of mutations in KRAS, BRAF and PIK3CA genes, which consist in using PCR and commercial kits. The following chapter "Results of Analysis of mutations" contains detailed grafical presentation of mutations. Frequencies of mutations were compared with published data and with data from laboratories in Pilsen and Prague. In the end of the bachalor work, there is summary of results and their possible benefit.

Study of the Function of Reproductive Barriers for Use in Vivo and in Vitro Models
Pospěchová, Kateřina ; Semecký, Vladimír (advisor) ; Jirásek, Jan Evangelista (referee) ; Stingl, Josef (referee)
Summary: The main limiting factor of distribution of the drugs in the body is the presence of physiological barriers. Placental and blood-testis-barrier are two barriers that were studied in this thesis. The placenta is an important endocrine organ bringing maternal and fetal blood into proximity, allowing exchange of nutrients and waste products. In addition, the placenta acts as the barrier between the mother and fetus, and plays an important role in fetal protection. The key rate-limiting layer in the placenta is the single layer of syncytiotrophoblast. The placental trophoblast contains multiple drug transporters and metabolizing enzymes that control maternofetal exchange of nutrients and hormones, or which form placental "metabolic" barrier. Moreover, several members of the nuclear receptor superfamily are expressed in placental trophoblasts. They regulate transcription of the genes involved in nutrient transport, mineral metabolism, proliferation and differentiation. Moreover it was suggested that they control expression of placental drug transporters and xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes. Germ cells in the testis are protected mainly by the presence of blood testis barrier, formed by the tight or adherens junctions between Sertoli cells. Moreover, intercellular junctions between Sertoli and germ cells...

An immunohistologic charakterisation of human prostate cancer.
Kotlabová, Kateřina ; Semecký, Vladimír (advisor) ; Louda, Miroslav (referee)
In the last three years prostatic carcinoma reachs the first place in the ledder of number of new reported tumour diseases in male population. Although in most cases it is a relatively well curable affection, the research of new methods and procedures in the prostatic carcinoma diagnostics is very intensive, because the main point of successful therapy is the disclosure of early ( curable ) stages of disease. This graduate work gives the integral summary of histological and immunohistochemical methods, which are possible to be used in the prostatic carcinoma diagnostics. Histological examination based on the apprasial of the cell shape and characteristic cell structures permits to pass a judgement over the presence or absence of tumour changes, which has a high diagnostic and prognostic value. In the cases where the classic histological analysis failed, the special immunohistochemical methods are used by the clinical workers. Immunohistochemistry is based on the reaction of specific antibody and antigen, which has a receptor, enzymatic or transcription factor function in the cell and its presence ( absence ) or the expression intensity is characteristic for malignant or benign tissue which is examined. The content of this work is primarily synoptic enumeration of using immunohistochemical markers...

The optimal route search under several criteria
Vodička, Jan ; Fiala, Jiří (advisor) ; Kolman, Petr (referee)
Common methods of optimal route search are described in the thesis. Also, existing procedures used in problematics of transportation networks are mentioned. A nonlinear price function is proposed, which enables the user to specify their own preferences of any criteria (length, time, cost, etc.). Moreover, necessary modifications of common optimal route searching algorithms are presented. A method for propagation of maneouvres of arbitrary length into the transportation network is shown. This method enlarges nodes and vertices sets by amount linearly proportional to number of nodes involved in maneouvre set. Also, a general method diminishing the number of edges, which have to be encountered during optimal raute search process, is proposed. Precalculated edges sets are used to gain this goal. Proposed thesis contains three methods solving specific aspects of optimal route search in transportation networks. While the first method, when applied in practice, can bring limitations of processable data size, the other two procedures forrn the basis of a navigation system. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
