Russian Federation reactions to NATO enlargement

This work analyses reactions of the Russian Federation to NATO enlargement. The first part deals with the main stages of the expansion and evaluate reasons of member countries for entering NATO. The second part examine the reactions and position of the Russian Federation after the collapse of the Soviet Union by presidential term. The main aim of the third part is to analyse current approach of the Russian Federation on the issue of NATO enlargement and suggest possible scenarios for the development of relations between NATO and the Russian Federation.

Diet for IInd type diabetes and possibility of enriching diabetic diet

The diploma thesis deals with the diet during the diabetes mellitus type 2 disease and with possibilities of enriching the diabetic?s diet. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the description of this disease and the topic of the diet therapy ? what diets can be followed by diabetes patients and whether the diet is appropriate. The practical part of the thesis is dealing with the enrichment of the diabetic diets. Results of the questionnaire shown which meals are missed by the diabetics and for some of them were designed the recipes. According to the recipes were cooked diabetic dishes which were after that given to tasting and rating. Based on the statistic test and results of the rating dishes were evaluated to decide which are preferred to put in diabetic diet and which are not. I also prepared one exemplary menu including mentioned dishes.

Development and problems of the European integration

This thesis is principal focused on the question of the future existence and sustainability of the European integration project and its monetary element -- euro-area related to the competitiveness due to consequences of the global financial crisis, present situation and debt difficulties affecting states of Southern Europe, business and financially connected with other European countries. In my considerations and conclusions I also deal with prospective estate in case of various changes of the integration including disintegration, end of the single currency, as well as the factors, that might cause these changes and inflict serious consequences. It is necessary to reveal if the formed situation is acceptable for the member states. The aim of the thesis is to characterize and provide a piece of information about existing progress of the European integration in relation to treaties including competitiveness rating, outline serious issues especially endangering the euro-area and future stability of the whole European Union and analyze its impact, propose solutions and possible scenarios, eventually assess development perspectives and sustainability of the European Union as a complex.

The task of the dissertation is an analyse and a summary of problematic of increasing and widespreading of training in the concrete enterprise. The starting point for analyse is the finding out of the basic indicators. The analyses of all system connected with this problematic is followed by the assessment of the found data from the area of education -including improving and widespreading of training , personal planning and care of emploeeyes. Along with all above mentioned , the target of my dissertation is to make some suggestion and to take some measures for possible changes connected with education or social issues. The result of this survey is an improving suggestion related to assessment of effectivness of the gained knowledge - and their using in practice. I have made two assessment forms (they have form of survey) . The next part of my dissertation considers about the state policy of employment. There is (except of role of Labour Bureau, tools of active policy of employment, information about programmes for support of new labour places) also a mention about the financial state support. For this task (and for meeting of each of these targets) I have chosen the enterprise with headquarters in České Budějovice, called Jihočeská plynárenská, joint stock company.

The NATO enlargement as the determinant of the relationship with the Russian Federation

This thesis deals with the issue of the influence of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisa-tion on the relationships with the Russian Federation. The first part pursues the cir-cumstances that were brought by the end of the Cold War and the discussion about the NATO's future regarding the enlargement aspect. The second part examines the development after the millennium and the next enlargement round including the Baltic States. The third part analyzes the possible access of Georgia and Ukraine to the NATO and the Russian attitude toward this matter. Simultaneously, it outlines the theoretical scenario -- the Russian Federation as the NATO's membership candidate.

Aplikační část charakterizuje kategorii tabákových výrobků, analyzuje volbu strategie rozšíření značky jako odezvu na stagnaci značky. Dále podrobně hodnotí novou podznačku Davidoff Neon, jednotlivé prvky marketingového mixu, definuje chyby ve strategii i implementaci a podává doporučení pro marketingový tým. Závěr shrnuje cíle práce a formuluje závěrečná doporučení.

The impact of the Phenomenon of Enlargement on the Legislative procedure in European Union

The thesis evaluates legislation procedure of the European Union, its dynamics and effectiveness in regard to enlargement. The aim of this thesis is to assess to what extent the decision-making procedure got complicated and whether it is necessary to reform the whole system as a consequence of new members' adhesion. This paper focuses on current decision-making rules as well as the changes which brought this procedure to this status -- the reform activity during 1990s. The purpose of these reforms along with other aims was to prepare the EU institutions for the biggest enlargement they have ever experienced. These changes proved to be what helped to eliminate the consequences which could the new members with diverse priorities bring to the decision-making process. In spite of worries which preceded the Eastern enlargement, the institutions continue to work well, however, their workload has increased and there is a widespread belief that the next enlargement requires more reforms.

Práce se zaměřuje na perspektivy rozšiřování Evropské unie,zmiňuje jednotlivá dokončená rozšíření,dopady východního rozšíření,vnější vztahy Evropské unie a jejich kategorie. Dále se zabývá potenciálními kandidáty a otázkou jejich vstupu do Evropské unie. V poslední kapitole práce hodnotí situaci Turecka jako možného kandidáta a jeho pozitivní a negativní stránky, které mohou ovlivnit jeho členství. V závěru jsou zmíněny možné dopady rozšíření a zamyšlení se nad vstupem Turecka do Evropské unie.

The NATO Enlargement: The Interaction With the Europe´s Security Environment of the 90s

Disertace popisuje interakci rozšiřování NATO s bezpečnostním prostředím Evropy 90. let. Propojuje teorii mezinárodních vztahů s teoretickými a praktickými zkušenostmi a argumenty, zejména kritikou, k rozšiřování. Potvrzuje tezi, že rozšiřování je přínosný, ba nenahraditelný proces pro Evropu i Západ. Rozšiřování zase uspělo, protože odpovědělo na problémy a potřeby Evropy. Mladší evropské demokracie rozšířením NATO získaly i NATO posílily. V zájmu jejich, Evropy i celého Západu je ocenit, studovat a rozvíjet přínos rozšiřování a jeho interakce s Evropou, podporovat silné NATO, vztahy Evropy s USA i posilování vztahů evropských zemí s USA přímějšími formami, aktuálně hlavně vybudováním americké základny v ČR.
