Mast crane for ships handling

This bachelor’s thesis is aimed on construction design of jib crane for ships handling. Crane with capacity of load 1 000 kg is placed on concrete pier in shipyard, it has electrical hoist and swivel mechanism, lift height from water level is 6 000 mm. This is a design calculation of each part of the crane and control strength calculations. The aim of this project is the concept designed solutions and functional calculation of the whole device. An integral part of the thesis is drawing documentation.

This thesis deals with the conceptual design columned crane. The aim of this thesis is to select the main dimensions and calculate the dimensions of individual components using a crane columned design calculation and control of individual components and parameters of the crane columned a test calculation. Another task is to select the running and lifting gear.

This bachelor thesis deals with a construction proposal of wall crane. The aim is to suggest main load-bearing constructions and the key dimensions. It describes suggestion of crane including processing of important strength calculations. The crane enables rotation, unloading arm 3300 mm of maximum weight 800 kg. This suggestion also includes the choice of the proper hoist.

This bachelor thesis involves the analysis of construction of derrick crane and his design according to set parameters. The thesis contains strength calculations and proposals for major structural elements and important parts of the crane. It also contains a selection of suitable hoists and drawings in the form of a crane assembly and detailed drawing of arm.

Project of hydraulic arm

This thesis is elaborated design of the hydraulic arm. The target is for the composition of the important strength calculations and drawings hydraulic arm, whichis designed for mobile devices. Hydraulic arm allows shooting in a horizontal 360° vertical shooting between 90° and a maximum load arm 1000kg. In the work is also a schematic hydraulic circuit design.

The aim is to select the key dimensions and basic parameters of the column jib crane with the column design calculations and to check using the check calculation. This conceptual design also includes the choice of the hoist, running gear, auxiliary equipment and technical drawings.

Speculative bubbles in financial markets

The bachelor thesis explores the phenomenon of speculative bubbles in financial markets. The aim is to define possible causes of speculative bubbles, and specify circumstances under which they can be prevented. The first chapter explains the essence of the examined phenomenon. In the following chapter, two theoretical approaches to the formation of asset prices in markets are explained, the efficient market theory and behavioral finance. The third chapter analyses causes, coarse and collapse of each individual bubble. The work uses twelve samples of asset price bubbles from history to meet the objectives. The final chapter examines the influence of government intervention and monetary policy on the formation of bubbles and proposes stemming recommendations for the responsible authority. The considerable complexity of the phenomenon and a large number of factors influencing price movements means that bubbles cannot be quantified ex ante. Given the current market conditions it is reasonable to expect further occurence of asset price bubbles in financial markets.

The Swedish economy in a period of boom and crisis at the beginning of the 3rd millennium

The thesis provides an analysis of Swedish economic development since the accession to the EU till present with emphasis on a period of boom and crisis at the beginning of the 3rd millennium. Basic macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP growth, inflation rate, public balance, general government debt, unemployment rate, foreign direct investment, current account of balance of payments are used to describe the economic development of Sweden. The first chapter focuses on the Swedish economy from the accession to the EU till the turn of the millennium. The second chapter deals with the Swedish economic development during the years 2000-2006. The third chapter describes the economic development of Sweden during the global economic crisis in 2007-2009 including selected issues related to the crisis.
