Early social environment affects development of personality traits in common vole \kur{(Microtus arvalis).}
ŠÍCHOVÁ, Klára
The study investigated the effect of non-genetic social factors (represented by litter size, litter sex composition, and affinity to age cohort) on the development of consistent inter-specific differences in reaction to novelty in common voles (Microtus arvalis). The voles were tested in three behavioural experiments ? Forced Open Filed test (FOF), Unforced Open Field test (UFOF), and Radial-arm maze (RAM). A siginificant impact of compontents of social environment was detected.

Effect of Physiotherapy on the treatment of tennis elbow
MARHOUN, Ondřej
Tennis elbow syndrome, also known as lateral epicondylitis, is a condition that affects the area called enthesis. Enthesis, the transition from tendon to bone, take part in transfer of mechanical energy produced by muscles to the movement. These days 1-3% of the world population suffer from this condition (Dungl, 2005; Goguin, Rush, 2003; Johnson, 2007). There are two stages of lateral epicondylitis. The acute stage occurs after previous overworking, contrary to the chronical stage, which developes as a result of long-term overworking and produces structural changes. In 75% of cases tendon m. extensor carpi radialis brevis is damaged. The therapy during the acute stage is succesful in 90% of cases. Therefore early start of the treatment is important (Dungl, 2005). There are many causes of lateral epicondylitis. Overworking of certain muscles is the most common exogenic cause. According to Véle (2007), it is mainly incoordination of these muscles, that leads to pathologies producing pain in the area of enthesis. Because of overworking, extensors of the wrist have higher oxygen consumption. Therefore a tendon, mostly m. extensor carpi radialis brevis tendon, haven´t sufficient oxygen intake and can´t work normally. It leads to fascia shortening and stiffness of muscle fascicle. The trigger points can also form inside of muscle fascicle. Trigger points are caused by neuromuscular synapse disorder. Stiff muscle fascicles cause increased tension in the muscle ligament. Because of it small microtraumata of the tendon structure, calcificated and non-calcificated cartilage and periosteum emerge. Microtraumata induce nociceptive stimulation, that cause pain (Faltus, 2010; Jarošová, 2010, Kolář, 2009). The aim of this thesis is to evaluate possibilities of treatment of tennis elbow and find out, whether kinesiotherapy and aplication of kinesiotaping have possitive influence on it. For this purpose a set of special exercises was created. The practical part of this thesis consists of qualitative study of three probands. Every proband should do once a day a set of specific exercises for five weeks and in addition, they attended special sessions seven times. In one case it was acute stage of lateral epicondylitis, probably because of long term stereotype movements of the wrist. Another two probands suffer from the chronical stage, probably due to everyday working on computer, that often leads to overworking of extensors. When working, all of probands usually used a lot of muscles in their movements, that should have been relaxed at the moment. In this way, patological motor stereotype can be created. It leads to cervical spine pain, shortening of the upper trapezius or pectoral muscles, diaphragm insufiention or rhomboid muscles weakening.

Services provided to users of the Children's Home in Kašperské Hory.
ŠTĚCHOVÁ, Marie
The children?s homes are a part of the school facilities for the institutional care. The institutions are responsible for care and education of abandoned children, if their own biological family is unable or unwilling to take care of them. Children are secured materially relatively well. But a problematic situation could arise at a time when young people leave the institutional care. The objective of researching in this bachelor?s thesis is to discover and learn more about the subjective attitudes of young users of The Children?s Home in Kašperské Hory, which cover the issue of leaving the institutional care and readiness to enter into their own independent life. The thesis is divided into two parts. First the theoretical part and the follow up research one. The theoretical part is composed of several chapters and related sub-chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the foster care. There I describe its basic forms, such as adoption, foster care and temporary foster care, guardianship and custody of child to the care of another person, other than a parent is. The second chapter deals with alternative institutional care and its most common forms. The third chapter is devoted to the leaving of children from the children?s home. Further there is a description of The Children?s Home in Kašperské Hory and projects that focus just on preparing for the leaving children from the institutional care. There are also described devices providing the accommodation of young people just after their staying in care. To carry out this investigation it was used a qualitative research, more precisely, the questioning method and a semi-structured interview technique. The group of respondents subjected to such talks, were young users of The Children?s Home in Kašperské Hory aged from 15 to 18 years including. Asked questions were structured into several groups according to these established areas the interviews were subsequently evaluated. The first set of questions was aimed at obtaining the essential information such as the age and the length of stay in the children?s home. The second range of issues mapped the area of education and training for the future profession Another area examined whether the users of the children?s home have access to financial funds and how they can handle with them. It was also found that about one third of them cannot manage properly with its limited financial resources. This was followed by questions to the relationships with their own biological family. The last and the most comprehensive set of questions concern the preparations for leaving the children?s home. It is absolutely clear that almost all respondents are not still ready to join the independent life. All interviewees agree that children?s home provides the necessary and sufficient services thanks to which the users gain some important skills to keep their homes. The statements also point to the fact that concerned young people have about their future virtually no ideas. About half of them do not know where or to whom they will go after leaving the institutional care. As well, almost each of the respondents was not interested in the possibility of emergency accommodation. There are many proposals to solve this issue in professional sources. The prevailing argument, which I am also a supporter, that the preparation for becoming independent should begin children?s homes as soon as possible, preferably at an early age. An important component of the preparation could be a so-called ?Individual planning for children?s homes users?. It means that each user could create a personal plan for current and future needs and plans. Last but not least, the training should also focus more on the training of practical skills such as handling finances, contracting or dealing with authorities.

Curse or Blessing: natural resources and economic growth - comparison of the development of Botswana, Nigeria, Norway and Canada in early 21st century
Zubíková, Adéla ; Chytil, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Zeman, Karel (referee)
This thesis seeks to verify the concept of so-called resource curse at the beginning of the new millennium. The theoretical part defines the symptoms of the alleged curse, curse transmission channels and criticism of the concept. Compared to other studies dealing with the theme of the resource curse this work is not focused on just one transmission channel. The practical part verifies several hypotheses established by comparing research papers on impacts of natural resources. The validity of the Prebisch-Singer hypothesis, Dutch disease symptoms and a negative impact on political institutions (inclination toward authoritarianism, high level of corruption, high government spending, low efficiency of economic and political decision-making and low investment in education) is verified. For the analysis have been selected two African countries (Nigeria and Botswana) and two advanced countries (Canada and Norway). The last part of this thesis provides policy implications. The results confirm the Prebisch-Singer hypothesis for selected commodities in the long term and some of the symptoms of Dutch disease at the beginning of the new millennium. Hypotheses regarding the impact on the political institutions have not been confirmed, since the results varied across the countries. The high vulnerability of the countries to movements in commodity prices was found.

Quality of life of senior women that suffer from incontinence
Kršňáková, Veronika ; Zámečník, Libor (advisor) ; Langrová, Eva (referee) ; Václavíková, Zdena (referee)
This bachelor dissatation deals with the problem of female incontinence. Theoretic part is devoted anatomy lower urinary tract, physiology discharging and detail described individual kinds of urinary incontinence, cause, treatment and prevention. In empiric part I felt to valorize how the urinary incontinence affects quality of life. I also tried to find out how long was the time interval before the patient finds the medical hep and if there is enough awareness about the illness and its treatment. My research confirmed the fact that it is important to improve education and have enough Information available about this problem in order to identify the early symptoms and eliminate negative motions. The most important is to improve understanding of women's feelings and needs and to (decrease) eliminate the embarrasment rated to this problem.

The development of the export support policy in the Czech republic since 1993
Strakošová, Lada ; Kalínská, Emílie (advisor) ; Lukáš, Zdeněk (referee)
This thesis is focused on the development of the support of exports in the Czech republic. The Czech republic is a relatively small country which means it needs international trade to be able to satisfy domestic demand because of the lack of resources. In the early 90's the Czech republic was a transforming economy with no measures of export support. Because the czech exporters needed the public support to succeed on foreign markets, all the financial and non-financial measures of the export support had to be implemented from the beginning. To support the export, the country concluded contracts about trade liberalisation, provided information and assistance services for exporters and provided also financial and insurance services with the state assistance. The thesis is divided into several parts according to the periods of implementation of the export support. In the first two periods till 2002 there was not a unified system of providing the export support, the state institutions did not cooperate enough and the whole support system has been developing till the present. Since 2003 the Czech republic has had a conception of the export support that stipulates conditions of functioning of the export support system and it includes the ways how to improve this system.

The Reform of Public Service in the Social Sector
TEJNOR, Libor
Social sector is an integral part of public service in any society. In each state, a contemporary system of institutions and organizations has gradually evolved in social administration, and the institutions are more or less interrelated and complement each other, or they compete. Although contemporary systems in various European countries differ from each other, they have common roots in the European social doctrine. It is based on the principles of human right of dignity, freedom, solidarity and participation in democratic governance. Within the transformation of the social security system to the system of social protection of citizens in the early 1990{\crq}s, and in accordance with a scenario of social reforms, work began on the creation of three interrelated and relatively independent systems {--} the systems of social insurance, state social support, and social assistance. What is substantial for this system to function properly is the relationship between the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, as the highest umbrella body that manages, directs methodically and controls the administration performance in a relevant sector (insurance, support or care) and all the other subsidiary bodies of the entire social security system involved in covering a given agenda. For that reason, it was also necessary to establish necessary institutions and institutes for the purpose of fulfilling the objectives. The objective of this paper is to map the valid legislation related to public service in the social sector, to analyze any changes in the legislation related to public service in the social sector and to define the advantages and disadvantages of these legislative changes. The method of analysis of secondary sources and the content analysis of data covering the public service in the social sector were chosen for the practical part of this paper. An analysis, a synthesis and a comparison were made of documents from the sectors of public service, social security, insurance, state social support, and social care with emphasis laid on the legislation related to the reform of public service in the social sector. The results have shown that the current form of the public service in the social sector encompassed, through legislative changes, all the needs of citizens to the maximum possible extent. The reform measures have also led to improvements in the accessibility of institutions for citizens and, thanks to powers delegated to the municipalities with extended powers, institutions are more accessible. However, the results point to certain drawbacks brought about by the social reform; these drawbacks must be removed trough legislative changes in the course of the ongoing reform.

Ukraine Financial Markets - The Analysis of Financial Frauds
Melnychuk, Oleksandr ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Žamberský, Pavel (referee)
Ukraine is quite new country, which faces early stages of its development. The financial market of the country has passed through different and challenging times for these 20 years and still has to choose several essential factors for the further development. The existence of financial frauds in Ukraine could be explained by lack of knowledge and information in the country as well as low level of trust to the government. The case of JSC "MMM" and Mr. Mavrodi is the best well-known example of Ponzi scheme in Ukraine and all post-Soviet countries, which gives the possibility to analyze the main features of its consequences.
