Optimalizace návrhu těžeb vedoucí k těžební vyrovnanosti lesního majetku
Machačík, Michal
The aim of the thesis was to optimize the total cut of the private property of B. F. P., Lesy a statky Tomáše Bati, spol. s. r. o. leading to harvest balance within a period of next 30 years. Two different harvest models as well as the model of shortening the rotation period of spruce were included in the calculations for the expectant total cuts. All these three models were compared, with the optimal result of not carrying out the whole total cut according to the legal options. If the total allowable cuts, which arise from the current age composition of the property, were fully used, the significant decrease in harvest would follow and keep on decreasing as early as the second decade. Shortening the rotation period of spruce would make the situation even worse.

KINDELMANN, Ladislav
The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the way data backup of remote sites deduplication technology system used by EMC Avamar. This is a special type of data compression used not only when saving to disk arrays, but also in a virtual environment. Deduplication ensures saving storage space and reliability of data recovery. EMC Avamar system is one of the best-engineered and most extensive systems of which the above technology is used. The dissertation is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part student briefly summarize the available backup technologies and describes the remote backup methods, including examples using available software and hardware requirements. Then it specifies details of EMC Avamar and its implementation, HW requirements and functioning of the entire system. Student will analyzes the data deduplication technology, which the system uses, description of data transferring and the possible advantages and disadvantages compared to other systems. In the practical part it creates own proposal for implementation of data backup using the above mentioned system in a business environment between the two branches of the company. The aim will be to show the real technology features, advantages and shortcomings. Sychrová, Eva ; Sátora, Josef (referee) ; Kopáčik, Gabriel (advisor)
"The urban environment serves many roles. It would also be such that we remember them and looking at them, feel pleasure. "[Kevin Lynch] The proposal deal with the multifunctional building near the city center. The place is located on the pass company Kras . The overall design is based on the analysis and planning studies prepared in the previous semester. The main idea is to make the function part of the city, which will primarily serve residents of the city. A place that is pleasant to meet, for recreation, relaxation and active leisure. Instead of living as well as services, commerce and administration. Instead of a vibrant life where it will be easy to navigate and enjoyable stay. The building is trying to combine the advantages of living downtown housing in the countryside. Town house should be lively. Everywhere something is happening, people stop, where to shop and spend time here. Living in the countryside provides plenty of privacy and tranquility. The proposal is currently trying to combine these advantages. The result is a house that provides plenty of features and incentives to meet and have sufficient facilities (garage). But it also offers a private area surrounded by greenery and overlooking the city features. The architectural appearance of the building seeks to reflect its main function - to provide "living"house. It also seeks a characteristic and easily remembered building in connection with quote Kevin Lynch (see above). This creates a compact three-storey compound in services and garages, which are then apartment buildings with flats of different sizes, each with a balcony or a garden that allows for contact with nature. Loggia are designed in bright colors and add vibrancy and playfulness of the building.

Hybrid cloud solutions
Ryšavý, Jan ; Nedzelský, Roman (advisor) ; Novotný, Ota (referee)
This thesis focuses on the cloud computing and more specifically its private, public and hybrid deployment regimes with emphasis on the last one. The aim is to compare advantages and disadvantages of said regimes both on paper and in reality. For this purpose, the theoretical part is presented to deal with these systems and the on-paper comparison. A practical part follows in a form of a survey that was sent to companies to get information about the issues with cloud computing in reality. The survey has been evaluated afterwards and the gathered information was compared to the knowledge gained from the theoretical part. The conclusion summarizes the level of variety between the theoretical ˘pros and cons and the real ones. The main contribution of this work should be this very analysis, which could help with upgrading the current products of cloud computing via direct feedback from entrepreneurs.

Sisková, Monika ; Němcová, Ingeborg (advisor) ; Němec, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this final thesis is to analyse and compare the PPP practices of EU member states and to evaluate the current situation of their PPP markets as well as the issues faced at present. The study consists of four chapters. The first chapter deals with the theoretical and legal concept of public-private partnerships: the definition of PPPs, their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of PPPs and the factors influencing the success of PPP projects. The section thereafter analyses the position and role of the EU, EIB and EBRD in promoting and supporting the implementation of PPP projects. The section is followed by an assessment of the PPP market development trend, high lightening the basic quantitative differences between the EU member states. Chapter four forms the core of this thesis in which, based on specified criteria (legal and institutional PPP conditions, average value of a project, corruption, transparency and the nature of the public sector) the PPP praxis of Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Poland and Slovakia are analysed and compared. The states are characterized by national PPP markets of diverse quality as well as significant differences in the national conditions for implementing PPP projects.
