Business plan – Riding school

This work has two basic parts. In the first, theoretical and methodological, the reader learns how has to a successful business plan looks like and what has to be included in it. Individual parts of the business plan as an operational plan, financial plan or analysis surroundings of the company, are presented in detail. The second part of this work is practical and its aim is writing a business plan for Riding school development. This particular business plan should also show whether the business can be realized, and whether it will be advantageous for an investor.
ETF funds

This thesis deals with exchange traded funds (ETFs). The goal is to explain how different kinds of ETFs work and to find out whether some of them operate inefficiently when it comes to following their benchmarks. The thesis describes the collective investments industry, characteristics and valuation of ETFs, and compares the performance of chosen commodity funds among themselves as well as to their benchmarks. The thesis reaches an interesting conclusion.
Byt jako forma investice

The bachelor's thesis "Flat as an investment instrument" is focused on buying a flat as an investment. The first part gives practical information, which can help the investor to do the right investment decision. There are described and analyzed individual factors influencing the investment - yield, risk, liquidity and factors with the biggest impact on the flat value. The second part offers an analytical example, which compares the investment into flats in different cities in Czech Republic under the current market conditions. The results are compared according to theirs profitability and commented with a possible explanation. Finally, an example of investment into a concrete flat is included, in order to show the theoretical approaches mentioned in the first part of the thesis. The main objective of the thesis is to introduce a compact overview about investing into flats.

My paper tries to cover as many fields of internationalization as possible. It is a look at the very actual situation after the financial crisis but also comes with some predictions about the close future. Public and worldwide organizations such as WTO are a critical point in my analysis, as well as country penetration strategies. My objective was to determine where globalization has leaded us, in which direction and more importantly in which countries. Also, it is explained how complex can be a multinational in different countries and the important aspects of control in between subsidiaries. The diploma thesis "Investment controlling and its application in a particular company" focuses on principle features of investment controllership and its application in practice. The theoretical part summarizes theoretical knowledge of the field of the investment decision-making and investment controllership. Attention is devoted specially to basic terms and methods used in this field. The practical part deals with analyses of recent stage of investment controllership usage in the ABC, s. r. o. company. According to project results the advantages and insufficiencies of recent stage are evaluated including suggestions for future improvements.
Theory and Practice of Management of Personal Finances in the Czech Republic

The topic of this thesis is personal and family finance. At the time of extensive government austerity measures, uncertainty of countries' future, or even international companies, and on the other side the ever bigger influence of advertisement and consumer culture, its importance grows with each year. The main goal of this thesis is to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that presumes the following: although people think they are handling their personal finance right, they often make typical wrong decisions. Part of the theory is a survey dealing with financial literacy of Czechs that support a theory that they have considerable gaps in managing their finances. Further on, the thesis engages in possibilities on how to eliminate these gaps. Doing this, the author perceives the family, or individual, as a parallel to a company, while their finances management makes parallel to the company's accounting. It also briefly deals with why these mistakes are present, using behavioral economics as a tool for explanation. The theoretical part presents possibilities and products that are to find at a usual economy subject on the market to those willing to evaluate their finances. The practical part is looking for answer to question what the most frequent mistakes are. The author then chooses the one he considers the most significant, namely the absence of planning. It then tries to prove, that elimination of this mistake leads to considerable improvements and optimization in managing finances.
Dollarized economy of Laos

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find causes of dollarization in Laos.It first briefly describes the main types of dollarization. It further consider experiences with dollarization in Laos in 90's then focuses on the direct causes of dollarization that is inflation and exchange rate and also focuses on the indirect causes that is foreign investments and domestic payment system. In the last chapter evaluates consequences in the form of costs and benefits.
Analýza studií o investičních pobídkách v České republice

Lately, when many countries were affected by a strong economic recession, many government representatives pointed out the need of foreign investments in our economy. Investments are the cornerstone of modern national economy. Countries therefore endeavour to attract as many investors as possible using various investment incentives. The aim of the present thesis is to discover whether these incentives represent an effective option for obtaining investments. There have been several notable analyses on this subject. By comparing the conclusions of two analyses, which yielded contradictory results, we can find out whether this system should be used in the future. The thesis also outlines a realistic model that could determine the actual fiscal impact of investment incentives.
Private equity investments in the Czech Republic

Private equity investments belong to alternative investments. They are based on investing into non-public firms. Private equity can be devided in two groups. In the first case starting and expanding companies are being sought(venture capital), the second choice consists of buying established companies(private equity in closer). In both cases the necessary assumption is a high potential of the particular company so the investor can re-sell the business in few years for profit. As will be shown on five different investment cases from Czech environment, high returns on capital are compensated by high risk -- particularly by low liquidity and by a threat of wrong market estimation.
Private Equity and Venture Capital as instruments of business financing

The objective of this diploma thesis is to introduce the sector of Private Equity and Venture Capital which is aimed to finance perspective companies that are not publicly traded. The first chapter presents the development of sector and main featuring players on the market. The second chapter explains phases of the investment process. The topic of the third chapter is analysis of the sector in terms of development trends and comparisom of particular types of investment as well as comparison of the main markets which are the USA and Europe. The goal of the last chapter is to present and analyze the Alternative Investment Market in London as a new market for the venture capital backed companies.
