Network Protocol Analyzer
Hlísta, Juraj ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is concerned with methods of protocol detection at seventh layer of ISO/OSI network model. It focuses on proposal and implementation of a system which is able to identify aplication protocols from packet's data field. This part of packet contains signatures that the analyzer searches for using regular expressions. The application was written in C programming language using libpcap library that provides API for capturing network communication.

Multichannel Image Deconvolution
Bradáč, Pavel ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This Master Thesis deals with image restoration using deconvolution. The terms introducing into deconvolution theory like two-dimensional signal, distortion model, noise and convolution are explained in the first part of thesis. The second part deals with deconvolution methods via utilization of the Bayes approach which is based on the probability principle. The third part is focused on the Alternating Minimization Algorithm for Multichannel Blind Deconvolution. At the end this algorithm is written in Matlab with utilization of the NAG C Library. Then comparison of different optimization methods follows (simplex, steepest descent, quasi-Newton), regularization forms (Tichonov, Total Variation) and other parameters used by this deconvolution algorithm.

Adolescent overweight and obesity
JINDROVÁ, Kateřina
My bachelor´s thesis deal with obesity of adolescents and problems with overweight. These problems are described in details, and after that divided into specific parts. The main goal of my bachelor´s thesis is to chart problems with obesity and overweight in age group from 15 to 18 (adolescents) and primary describe their eating habits and physical activity. Theoretical part is focused on occurrence of overweight and obesity in the Czech Republic and in the world, causes of its origin, risk factors, classification and diagnosis, types, therapy and prevention. This bachelor´s work dealing with rational diet, describing basic principles of healthy catering and explaining right or wrong foodstuffs. I point mainly on prevention of overweight and obesity by healthy eating and physical activity. Methodical part is processed thanks to quantitative research. Data were gained by questionnaires, which were given to high school students (1st - 3rd grade). The research group contains 150 respondents from different schools in České Budějovice and close neighborhood. Final results are written down primary in graphs with commentary and data charts. In case of right use of qualitative research, there were determined two hypotheses. First hypothesis: Overweight and obesity is more occurred at adolescents with wrong eating habits. Second hypothesis: Overweight and obesity is more occurred at adolescents with low physical activity. For developing exploratory part, there was used quantitative research, which was provided by questionnaires given to students of age from 15 to 18. Entire data were processed by the use of program Microsoft Excel, and its calculations and functions. The answers of respondents were registered into database, and, by using specific excel functions, I was able to report data in determined categories. The research was mainly concentrated on physical activity and eating habits. Final results are put into well-arranged graphs, which are always enriched by comments, eventually completed by data tables, and, subsequently, statistically evaluated. In results, there might be seen two main differences between adolescents with standard weight and adolescents with overweight or obesity problems. One of those is irregularity in eating and wrong eating habits; big difference is also proved in physical activity. Adolescents with obesity or overweight have often irregular food intake, they drink a lot of high caloric beverages such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta etc., deficient income of fruit, vegetables, legumes, fish, or low physical activity. Only few of obese adolescents is different, because their problem is caused genetically. Adolescents with standard weight eat more regularly, but there are also some special cases, who have similarly wrong eating habits as obese people; however, all of these adolescents have one typical quality regular physical activity. Both hypotheses are confirmed. The results show that obesity is mainly caused by genetic predispositions, but these factors can be positively affected by periodic physical activity or appropriate eating habits. At the end of the thesis, it should be mentioned that it is necessary to be focused on right eating habits and regular physical from the very young age, when the basic customs and habits are assumed. That should include parents' action around their children, as they are usually the first example and they have the biggest influence. It is important to develop knowledge about all kinds of prevention, which are in most cases major in defending against formation of overweight and obesity.

Nursing care of patient with diverticulosis
LYSÁKOVÁ, Adéla
The bachelor thesis focuses on nursing care of a patient with diverticulosis. The name diverticulosis (die Divertikulose) indicates occurrence of multiple diverticulaon various organs (Kazil, Kazilová, 2007). Diverticulosis is also called a presidential disease. This name arose a couple of years ago when Václav Havel and Rudolf Schuster, the President of the Slovak Republic were suffering from this disease at the same time. Colon diverticulosis may be classified as a civilization disease, as relation between its occurrence and eating habits and life style has been proven (Housová, 2009). The number of patients suffering from the disease has been increasing in recent years. Eating habits and lifestyle are probably the main causes, but also age as the disease mostly affects individuals over 70 years of age. The research was aimed at the specifics of nursing care of a patient with diverticulosis. Two goals were based on the thesis topic. The first goal included the specifics of nursing care of a patient with diverticulosis. The second goal was to map knowledge of nursing care of a patient with diverticulosis among nurses at gastroenterology departments. A qualitative research method was applied to meeting the above goals. The research was performed at gastroenterology outpatient departments in South Bohemian and Highland Regions. The research sample consisted of two groups. The first group was formed by nurses (N1 - N10) and the second group by physicians (P1 - P3). The qualitative research was performed by means of semi structured interview. Written records were kept on the qualitative research results. Interviews with respondents brought answers to the research questions and also led to meeting the goals of the bachelor thesis. Four research questions were set to meet the goals. The first research question focused on the specifics of nursing care of a patient with diverticulosis. The research showed according to the responses of the nurses and the physicians that they lead a patient with diverticulosis to adherence to preventive measures. These are adherence to diet regimen, change of lifestyle, care about regular defecation, adequate physical activity and regular medical checkups. Adherence to these preventive measurement leads to reduction of complication risks. However the knowledge of diverticulosis symptoms among nurses was quite poor. The second research questions asked what aspects of providing nursing care nurses most often concentrate on. The interviews showed that nurses mostly focus on education in the field of changing eating habits. They also inform patients with diverticulosis how to avoid complications or how to behave if complications occur. The information from the nurses corresponded with that from the physicians. The third research question tried to find whether nurses inform patients on modification of eating habits. We found that the nurses inform patients with diverticulosis in modification of eating habits. The nurses are aware of suitable and unsuitable food, on quantity of suitable liquids and food modification. Nevertheless the nurses had significant drawbacks in the diet applicable on the fist days after operation. Information obtained from the nurses was identical with the opinions from the physicians, except for the question for diet applied on the first days after operation as only the nurses were asked this question. The last, fourth, research question asked whether the disease affected the patients? lives. The replies from the nurses and the physicians confirmed that the disease has influence on patients? lives. It actually requires eating limitation, patients have to care about regular defecation; some patients suffer from unpleasant abdominal pains. An informational leaflet for patients suffering from diverticulosis was elaborated upon the results of the thesis.

Karel Plíhal the songwriter
Kebrtová, Helena ; Peterka, Josef (referee) ; Hník, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis presents Karel Plihal as a representative of an original type of a socially unengaged folk singer-songwriter, whose poetics is based especially on playfulness. The lyrics of Karel Plihal are analyzed in the context of sung poetry requirements. That's why I mention the general characteristics of lyrics. For lyrics, regularity of form and meter is important. Melodic organization of sounds and natural language with a natural distribution of word stress, that greatly influences the comprehensibility of a text, are prefered. Lyrics don't have to satisfy all the requirements of written poetry, especially semantic richness. But shallow texts are not the aim of lyrics at all. The main specificity of lyrics is that it is a part of a song and in the written form it is not complete. It is to be analyzed and appreciated in connection with music. Music developes lyrics.

Bachelor´s thesis aim is to create a system for network traffic anotation. For this purpose it is necessary to correctly determine the protocols for all layers of the network model TCP/IP. To identify the application layer protocol is used a method based on port numbers and a method based on tracing the signatures in packet´s data field by using regular expressions. Web portal was written in PHP, using the extension phpcap and tcpdump program, which provides manual anotation of network traffic.

Message nurses and ward sister in practice.
NOVÁKOVÁ, Jana
The ward sister round presents an integral part of the nursing profession. The ward sister round comprises a regular visit of the nurse directly at the patient´s bed. Its objective consists in determining and satisfying the unsaturated needs of patients, further in ensuring and providing a high quality and efficiency nursing care in a close link with medical care. Nursing handover can be divided into two main sections: written and oral handover. The oral handover takes place directly in the patients´/clients´ room under the use of nursing documentation. Its advantage consists in the direct involvement of the patient/client in the handover process. The written handover is then entered by the nurses into the Handover Book. The significance of my diploma work consists in increasing the nurses´ standard of knowledge related to the modernization of ward sister rounds and nursing handover as an integral part of the nursing profession.
