Equal occupational opportunities for men and women in the rescue services

This Bachelor{\crq}s thesis, entitled ``Equal occupational opportunities for men and women in the rescue services{\crq}q is devoted, as the name implies, to equality between men and women. The work is focused on the South Bohemian Medical Rescue Service and explores the gender ratios in this organisation. The research showed that the organisation itself is governed by the legislation in force and is not the cause of gender discrimination, although the gender stereotypes of society are deeply rooted in the opinions of the general staff of the South Bohemian Medical Rescue Service.

Social services and the role of non-governmental organizations in social security

This study is focused on actual problems, which came up after the new Social Services Act came into force on January 1, 2007 and its updating, from the view of one group of the user sof social services- seniors. In the thesis is important charter, which described restrictive measures issues. Legislation is inadequate in this direction and even in comparison with international rules, which deals mainly with the protection of human rights. Fortunately, the situation is improving and with increasing demands on social service facility level of care is improving rapidly. In this work we find an important chapter focused on the gentle self-defense, which uses techniques of Aikido martial arts in conjunction with the restrictive measures and self- defense, so that the intervention was friendly to the client, but also the most effective. The basis, however, is the desire to avoid any physical intervention of moderate means, such as distraction, and active listening are. I attend to this topic more in in recent years and I add my lecture on this subject in Annex I, which was intended for workers in social services. Application of the act and subsequent regulation on cyber security at state administration´s offices

The thesis is focused on the Czech act no. 181/2014 Sb., on cyber security and subsequent regulations, introduces origin and importance of act, defines the state administration´s office which identifies important information systems according to regulations, and subsequently thesis detailed analyses act and regulation on cyber security in relation to the defined state administration´s office. Keynote of this thesis is show the real application of identified obligations of the act and regulation to the defined state administration´s office, especially a design, implementation and management of organizational and technical security measures, including the evaluation of real impact on information security. To achieve the set goals author of this thesis uses the analysis of legislation, and draws own conclusions from author´s position of a security technologist who actively participated in the design security policy, and implementation and management of security tools. The benefit of this thesis is complex overview of the security employees work at defined state administration´s office, overview of the real fulfilment obligations of the act and regulation of cybernetic security, and ultimately this thesis brings ideas for further development of technical security tools. This thesis can brings benefit to other important information systems administrators as a set of processes, proposals and recommendation for their own information security management system. This thesis is structurally divided into four main parts. The first theoretical part introduces origin, importance and impact of the act on state and private organizations. The second analytical part analyses act and subsequent regulations in relation to the defined state administration´s office. The third practical part shows the real application of organizational and technical security measures. The fourth last part evaluates the real impact of measures on information security.

The Final Accounts and The Closing Financial Statement

The aim of this thesis is to provide a view on The Final Accounts as a system and to point out the requirements of The Closing Financial Statement in the Czech Republic. It also provides information about the adherence of legal obligation to publish The Closing Financial Statement by accounting entities. The theoretical part of the thesis is describing the necessary legislation which determines the subject and formal content of this part of accounting, which further continues with general and the most significant accounting principles. Following explanation of The Final Accounts as such is divided in two periods. The first period includes inventorying and equally important entering the closing operations into accounts. In the thesis is also described several of these closing operations showed on particular examples. The second period is concerned about finding out the profit before taxation, calculation of the income tax, following entering into accounts, the tax liability, and the final closure of used accounts. The fourth chapter of the theoretical part characterizes The Closing Financial Statement, its obligatory and optional accounting repots, explanation of the obligation to verify the accounting reports by auditor and the essential publishing of The Closing Financial Statements. In the final - practical part of the thesis, there will be introduced results of the empirical research of publishing or rather non-publishing The Closing Financial Statement by companies with the limited liability in the field area of this research - Prague 6, in 2010.

The beginning of theTV broadcasting in Czechoslovakia in the years 1953-1956 inreflections of the contemporary press

Diploma thesis "The beginning of the TV broadcasting in Czechoslovakia in the years 1953- 1956 in reflections of the contemporary press" aims at evaluating the reception of television as a new media by Czechoslovak authorities and public according to reports in the contemporary Czech press, out of which eight periodicals have been selected. In order to make the understanding of the contemporary context easier the thesis first summarises the development of media impact and presents the most important theories that were known until then. Further it depicts the development of the TV broadcasting from its beginning by the 1950s both in Czechoslovakia and abroad. It also explains the organisation and the legislative frame of the media control in Czechoslovakia after the communist upheaval in February 1948. Follow-up chapters first provide a short characteristics of the Czechoslovak television in each year and then present the selected periodicals and their themes that were most frequently mentioned in connection with the TV broadcasting. It also describes the interventions of the censorship authority, HSTD, both into the TV programm and to the printed news on TV.

Czech journalist František Gel

This diploma thesis refers about a famous Czech journalist František Gel (his own name was František Feigel) who lived in 1901-1972. After his unfinished studies he wrote for a weekly Soudní síň (Court room) for a while. Then he spent nine years (1924-1933) as a reporter of Lidové noviny, a very important Czech daily newspaper. In 1933 Gel left for Melantrich press. Melantrich at the time was the biggest publishing house in Czechoslovakia. As the World War II started, Gel left for France and became a member of Czech armed forces. While France was occupied by Nazis, he came to Great Britain where he worked as a War correspondent. After WW II he started to work for the Czechoslovak Radio. He became very popular and famous for his Nurenberg processes' reports in 1946 and 1947. Then he broadcasted Bílá kronika (White chronic1es) programme. It referred about the brave and nice things people did to each other. After a year spent in a diplomatics he started to write the well-known radio programmes which popularized science and history. He retired in 1953. Two years later he started to teachjournalism at the Charles University.

Pension funds and pension reform in the Czech Republic

This thesis analyzes the current status of pension funds in the Czech Republic, the subsequent transformation of the pension companies and the situation after the introduction of the second pillar. It examined the merits of a new pillar in the small benefit to future participants and the impact on the state budget. The main result is to propose a solution that would be more beneficial for participants and fulfill the requirement for a balanced fiscal policy. The presented work uses descriptive and comparative analysis of the current position of pension funds. Description of the reform of the pension system is based on legislative analysis and secondary analysis of published literature. In the design of solutions are used in mathematical statistical methods, comparative analysis and questionnaire method.

Determination of forces effect and stress check of frame of crushing mill of grain S 1200

This thesis is focused on determination of the power effects, strength calculation and following optimalization of the box for grain roller mill S 1200 – the prototype of the mill to be produced by the copany ROmiLL, s. r. o. Besides issues mentioned above there ar also stated roller mills worldwide trends as well as results and evaluation of the calculations together witu optimalization of roller mill box.

The quality of life for families of children born with very low birth weight

Newborns with very low birth weight ( under 1500g ) are at high risk of developing perinatal complications. These complications can significantly influence the quality of life of not only the children themselves but also their families. The goal of this work was to discover the ways in which families were forced to change their lifestyle and their family organization, and also whether the relationship between the parents in any way changed due to the care that such children often require. The theoretical part of this work is dedicated to the quality of life for the children, a summary of the most serious consequences of perinatal impairment and ethical problems in neonatology. In the reserch part, questionnaires which investigated family situations and the quality of life for children were sent to families and the results were evaluated.

The tax system in Greece in 2009 and its amendments in 2010

The aim of this work is to describe the tax system of Greece, focusing on the 2009 and its subsequent amendments in the 2010, which were caused by financial, economic crisis and the threat of national bankruptcy. To obtain information about the tax system in 2009 descriptive method is used, supplemented by a comparison of changes occurring in 2010. Greece was forced to reform the tax system, to gain a higher tax revenues that would be used to dampen the economic and financial crisis. However, the country has a problem to enforce tax policy and reducing government spending, as it meets resistance from residents. Another problem that faces the Hellenic Republic is a poor payment morale of taxpayers and the associated tax evasion. The work is based primarily on translations of English texts.
