BARTOLŠIC, JAN. The speed characteristics of Sailplane Airfoils. BA diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2014. This thesis deals with the speed characteristics of the airfoil of sailplane. The thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part focuses primarily on the aerodynamic characteristics of a plane, on the explanation of terms "buoyancy" and "air resistance", on the issue of utilization of plaps, as well as on the technical description of the Shempp Hirth Janus A sailplane. The theoretical chapter is followed by the practical part where the results of flight measurements are evaluated and used as a basis for conclusions regarding the utilization of flaps depending on flight speed.

Monitoring of motorial level pupils 6 and 7 classes on chosen elementary school

We are determining our goals of this dissertation m according with available literature. For the practical part of dissertation we used standard motorical test named UNIFITTEST 6-60. This dissertation dealt with observing of physical development and measurement of motional peďormance pupils of classes 6 and 7 (13-14 years) from Elementary school U Stadionu of city Most. 1 1 Motional peďormance was measured with four chosen motional tests (long two-footed standing jump, sit-ups for 60 seconds, Leger test). Results of our research were compared with Unifittest 6-60 (Chytráčková a kol. 2002) and Rychtecký a kol (2006) and confronted with our working hypothesses. During our motorical testing we detected worsened sports capacity of youth on Elementary school. This accomplishment is alike as Rychtecky a kol. (2006). Measurement of temperature characteristics of resistivity of Cu bulk

This contribution brings results of numerical modeling during design of measurement method for determine of thermal characteristic of specific resistance of Cu bulk. Combine of numerical modeling and experimental verification brings very effective procedure during suggestion and application in cryogenic region. Result of this work are used in research activities of Czech Academy of Science, ISI-Brno.

Revitalization of Area Afflicted by Mining Shown on Ore Mountains Base Region Example

The thesis consists of several parts. The first one presents basic characteristics of the Usti Region emphasizing its weaknesses and strengths. Interregional and nationwide comparison is used for some indicators. The second part is devoted to mining as the industrial activity so typical for the Usti Region. Here, milestones of the region's mining history and the current operation of mining companies in the region are described, and major mining sites listed and briefly presented. The third part deals with explanation of the term of "restoration, existence of various forms of restoration, their financing or basic documents for them, and importance of post-mining revitalisation in the territory. The final part is devoted to application of revitalisation in the Usti Region. The objective of the thesis is to identify the overall economic cost for restoring the territory affected by mining in its maximum variant - complete exploitation of all the soft coal deposits occurring in the Usti Region territory.

Enamel cover of the mammalian teeth: structural, functional, developmental and phylogenetic aspects.

Specificities of the mammalian teeth and their enamel coat with particular re- spect to the autapomorphies establishing the mammalian organization. Basic structural and organizational levels of the enamel histology (nanocrystals, elementary crystallites, prismatic enamel, IPM, schmelzmuster, ultimate characteristics of particular dentitions). Basic survey of comparative data: characterization of enamel of mammals in particular clades and a brief summary of their specificities. Concluding remarks on current state of knowledge and per- spectives of further study. 1

Abstract Submitted diploma thesis deals with genesis and activity of deep-seated slope deformation Běleč, situated in a deep fault valley of Křeptovský stream at the eastern boundary of Bohemian-Moravian upland. The study contributes to resolve a question of the failure Běleč impact on Vír water pipeline crash in 2005. In the thesis, several research methods were adopted. For determination of the deformation genesis, geomorphologic analysis was used. According to this method, initiation of the slope movements on the failure zone can be classified as Middle Pleistocenic. In the research on neotectonic failure zones influence on the Běleč deformation creation, morphotectonic analysis was applied. In Křeptovský stream valley, presence of a longitudinal and transversal failure affecting the strength characteristics of the massif was demonstrated. Financial analysis of an e-shop

The aim of this thesis is to create a complex financial analysis that will be useful for the decision making on the future and orientation of the company SEDNISI.CZ, s.r.o.. The theoretical part of the thesis first examines the characteristics of the furniture market and then deals with the analysis of internet use in the Czech Republic. Apart from the financial analysis itself which deals with standard ratio and syntetic indicators the thesis compares the results of the analysed company with results of the whole sector and of one of the competitors. The information gathered from the analysis of financial indicators is further used in the strategic analysis of the company that focuses on revealing the strengths and weaknesses of the company. Despite the fact that the financial and strategic analysis does not perfectly answer every question that is posed to the company it is undoubtedly very useful for evaluating the past developments, for finding problematic areas and for predicting the future of the company.

VAT fraud elimination

This dissertation is about problems of tax evasion on VAT. The aim is to confirm hypothesis that subjects which are committing fraud on VAT have many of the identical characteristics. Another goal is to determine this identical characteristics.
The theoretical part of this dissertation contains introduction into VAT problematic with emphasis on carousel fraud, where are presented individual parts of carousel chain and approaches which administrators of tax are using.
In Analytical part of dissertation, which form a basis of this work, are analysed data from 50 real tax control. This data are analysed and searched for identical characteristics of VAT fraud. By using regression analysis is searched bond strength of this characteristics to amount of assessed tax.
In conclusion are evaluated results from analytical part of this dissertation.

Innovation and business project

The aim of the thesis under the title Innovation and a business project, is to develop a specific entrepreneurial project represented by a fitness centre and to evaluate it from the perspective of its feasibility and return upon investment. Firstly, the theoretical concept of entrepreneurship is analyzed. The next step includes the analysis of applicable legal framework governing entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and the last step is represented by the definition of the structure of the business project. In the first part, business is described by its general characteristics. The next part is dedicated to environment analysis analyzing the internal and external factors influencing the business. Next step defines business opportunities which includes description of services that the business will provide. Then, human resources required for running the business have to be determined, as well as marketing strategy supplemented by a marketing mix. Based on this, a SWOT analysis is developed, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats having an impact on the business. The final part comprises financial plan which deals, inter alia, with project is economic rentability and conditions underpinning its feasibility.
