Headstock and main spindle of horizontal turning center

The thesis deals with headstock and spindle of the universal turning center. In the introduction part is a destription of the headstock morfology. It describe how the spindle and headstock can be solved in terms of its bearing, installation, used clamping interface, lubrrication, cooling and sealing. The second part is devoted to the universals turning machines which are available on the market. In the final part is the practical solution of the headstock and spindle on which can be performed for milling and drilling operation instead of turning.

The master´s thesis deals with the design of the headstock for the horizontal boring center and design of the milling head. In the first part of the thesis, a search is made in the field of boring machines, main parts of boring machine headstock and milling heads. Based on this theoretical analysis, the input parameters for the calculation of the tension, power and torque characteristics of the headstock are selected. Subsequently, the design of the headstock and milling head is done using a 3D model.

This master’s thesis deals with design of a headstock for a machine tool. Theoretic part of this thesis provides basic description of a horizontal machine tool. Further it is dedicated to description of a headstock of machines with extensionable work spindle. In a design part firstly optimal variant is chosen by using multicriterial analysis. Necessary calculations were done and chosen variant was developed. Design is realised by 3D CAD model and drawing documentantion.

This master´s thesis deals with the design of a cartridge spindle for milling machines. The aim of the work is to design a spindle with a power of 15 kW, which allows the automatic exchange of tools with ISO interface. In the beginning, the thesis deals with the description of the individual components related to the construction of machine tools spindle. A spindle design concept is chosen, for which a number of calculations were made concerning the structure itself. Based on the proposed design, a 3D model and drawing documentation were made.

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of headstock, spindle and Z axis of a small CNC milling machine. Firstly, the current state and production of small CNC milling machines is described. The other contains a system analysis of the given issue. Then input parameters are selected to be used for the necessary calculations. The last part of the thesis contains the structural design of the headstock and spindle with Z-axis feed, which is created in Autodesk Inventor. It includes a 3D model, assembly drawing, and production drawings.

The aim of this thesis is design of deburring machine, focusing on the headstock, capable of aligning the front side and chamfering at the round bars. At the beginning is a short research design nodes, used in the construction of machine tools. As part of the work was done and the measurement of cutting forces to determine the load while standing. Work also includes a series of calculations to justify the use of selected components. The outcome of the work is also a 3D model.

This master thesis deals with the engineering design of a headstock floor type boring/milling machine. At first, background research of boring machines and accessories is performed. The type and parameters of the floor type boring machine are chosen according to the background research. In the next part the thesis deals with the individual structural units of the headstock. The thesis also contains a 3D model of the headstock and fine drawing documentation. The 3D model of the horizontal floor type boring machine has been converted into a virtual reality environment.
