Brumlichová, Zuzana ; Daněk, Jan (referee) ; Hájková, Eva (advisor)
The present thesis discusses certain aspects of Czech as a foreign or second language. The theoretical section includes a definition of the term foreign pupil in the context of Czech education, an overview of the legislative framework of foreign pupils' education and a discussion of language education on the international level with a focus on Czech as a foreign language. Last but not least, the significance of reading literacy is assessed with regard to its use in language education. The thesis aims to establish the level of reading comprehension skills in foreign pupils of primary schools who are in their second stage of basic education. The assessment was carried out by means of a didactic test closely based on the language competence criteria as set out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The results of the research were analysed according to several criteria influencing the foreign pupil's involvement in Czech language classes, and subsequently compared to the results achieved by pupils who are native speakers of Czech.

20th CENTURY AS AN EXPERIENCE OF ONE CONCRETE WOMAN
Svobodová, Jana ; Sokolová, Věra (advisor) ; Kiczková, Zuzana (referee)
The aim of my diploma work is to find, how are concrete periods and events reflected in a life of concrete women, how were her acts influenced by gender norms and stereotypes of the society, and how much felt this woman limited by them. As a method was chosen the oral history, that enables working with the life stories of people of all kinds of social status and experiences. Its based on biografical life stories, that are analized and interpreted by the research. In the case of my narrator was chosen my grandma, born in the 1922 in agricultural society. This caused that her life experiences dont correspond with the picture of her period, that we know from the historiographical mainstream production, accenting the city middle classes. Therefore it is - by usány the oral history and the analytical category gender - possible to make an original wiev at the events and period of the twentieth century in the way lived by concrete women. This wiev, often marginalizing political events accented by mainstream history, and accenting everyday life influenced by the gender system more, is the vivid proof how much different can be the apprehention of the life according to the context and the concrete life experiences.

The main areas of our interest that are studied in more detail are technostress and Internet addiction. The practical part contains a research project focussed on technostress and Internet addiction. Our research was carried out with 50 respondents, 48 of which were university students. Internet addiction was discovered in 8% of respondents, the risks of technostress were shown to be low. We discussed our results with regards to the respondent's age, education, gender and time spent on Internet per week.

Development and maintenance of addictive behaviour in terms of psychoanalysis
Tomášková, Eva ; Hajný, Martin (referee) ; Kalina, Kamil (advisor)
In the area of addictive behaviour, psychoanalytic approaches are very often criticized or completely neglected. Nevertheless they could significantly contribute to the treatment of addictions, especially in its final stage. Their main contribution is in searching for origins and causes of the addiction. In the therapy they could help to reveal inner conflicts and traumas, and to facilitate their understanding and acceptance. The main aim of my thesis is to illustrate the contribution of psychoanalytic approaches in the treatment of addiction. Furthermore an effort is made to point out, that if the psychotherapy is enriched by psychoanalysis, and further criteria are fulfilled, the treatment can acquire a deeper meaning, and the probability of its efficiency increases. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part presents an overview of psychoanalytical theories of the origin and development of addiction. It describes some features of the addicted people from the psychoanalytical point of view and the part is completed by necessary critical evaluation. The empirical part contains a case study of a woman who is addicted to alcohol. On her case I try to illustrate the psychoanalytical views of on the rise and development of addictive behaviour.
