Web server with ARM microprocessor
Tesař, Jan ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis is dealing with design and implementation of the web server and manage- ment website in the developing kit FriendlyARM Mini6410 with installed OS GNU/Linux. The embedded packaging system PTXdist is described in terms of Kernel configuration and selection of suitable applications. The device should be later used for the remote management of atmospheric optical link.
Microphone array application
Toman, Vít ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with description of issues of reading spatial audio signals using microphone array. Basic method of beamforming (Delay and Sum) is characterized on basis of chosen conception of the microphone array. Specific issues of audio detection and digital signal processing of converted audio signals are characterized and some ways how to solve the issues are adumbrated. Features and limitations of chosen ARM processor in the digital processing of multiple audio signals are described. Especially features and limitations of an internal A/D converter from the perspective of the beamforming are described.
On-board Computer Unit with Testing for Cars
Špatenka, Jan ; Navrátil,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Dušek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of on-board computer unit with testing for cars. The first part focuses on circuit design concepts. Measurement data acquisition module uses standard OBD2. The module is designed based on the measuring circuit STN1110. Measuring module equipped with USB and JTAG communicates with the nearby devices. The control module is equipped with ARM microcontroller. The second part deals with the implementation of software for the microcontroller and the PC application. Finally, test results of the on-board computer implemented are presented.
Utilization of ARM GCC toolchain
Ledvina, Jan ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to study the existing development toolchain for the microprocessor LPC23xx in course MPOA. Main goal is to explore the feasibility of new development toolchain, based on the GCC. The outcomes of this thesis are demo applications with the microprocessor LPC2378 and the GCC. Parts of the outputs are also tutorials for the students, how to implement these demo applications. The demos include basic applications, RTOS and Ethernet
Forming Machine Control System
Vaško, Jiří ; Fojtík, Pavel (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the implementation of the control system for the forming machine used in producing of confectionery forms. The introductory part describes the forming machine from the point of important control elements. The second part is associated with the hardware design of the control automat and description of main functional units on the control PCB, as well as on other PCBs. The following text presents the communication protocol between the control automat and PC and after that there is a description of the CPU firmware. The final section brings the characteristics of the PC application for a connection with the automat.
Analog system SW simulator
Košta, Ondřej ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This Master’s Thesis focuses on development and realization of analog system software simulator for simulation of various kinds and orders systems and for function verification of microcontrollers’ control systems. The development and realization of PSD controller is part of this thesis as well. The simulator is written in C++/CLI programming language which combines fast execution of native code and provides an advantage of managed code which has its execution managed by the .NET Framework. The data acquisition is performed via National Instrument’s USB multifunctional DAQ. The PSD regulator is realized by using modern ARM processor architecture.
An USB-Ethernet joystick convertor for mobile robot
Šutera, Libor ; Florián, Tomáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of construction of the converter USB joystick on the Ethernet interface. In the first part are theoretically analyzed both protocols used for the converter. An analysis of current microprocessor trade and their possible using for application in this project. Next part including the specification of used microprocessor and all options of programming and debugging of the microprocessor. Another part deals with the detailed design of the hardware interface. The last part describes the software equipment of microprocessor and the final appreaciation of work.
Safety module for promotional robot of FEEC BUT
Španihel, Pavol ; Burian, František (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design a safety module for promotional robot FEEC BUT robot, which is based on evaluation kit RDK-IDM-SBC. The security module allows authorized persons control different parts of the robot (monitors, computers and subsystems included in the robot).
Date acquire system for Micropel's PLC network
Klusáček, Jan ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper deals with desgin and implementation of hardware and software for data acquisition device. Device is based on single board computer FoxBoard G20 which is placed on custom board which provide RS485 interface and short-term UPS. Device is runing Linux with device driver which enabling communication with Micropel PLCs across RS485 bus. Data are read from PLCs are saved to database and afterwards presented to user via web interface.
Control of electronic systems via web interface
Dufek, Ladislav ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This master thesis goes into problematics of design of an electronic device control system and its realization. First of all its overall conception is specified and potential hardware platforms are analyzed afterwards. Based on this analysis the system’s final conception is drawn up, the device’s circuit layout is created and finally a functional prototype is manufactured. The later part of this thesis describes the software accessories and tools. The principles of a chosen operating system, management application and webbased interface are described along with the problems of authentization to solve. The proposed solutions for the authentization-specific tasks gave rise to the final implementation of the authentization methods and techniques.
