Communication skills of social worker in contact with applicants for an allowance for care with intellectual disabilities

This work deals with communication with people with intellectual disabilities during the negotiation of allowance for care. The work emphasizes the communication skills of a social worker. The theoretical part describes mental retardation, communication, communication disorders, allowance for care, and the work deals with the specifics of communication with people with intellectual disabilities. The work also includes practical advice for communicating with the people with intellectual disabilities. In the conclusion of the theoretical section are described the communication skills of a social worker with a focus on dealing with people with intellectual disabilities. The practical part describes the research on communication skills of a social worker at the City Office in Tabor and evaluates the causes of its failure. Due to the appreciation of the practical research also includes a simple methodology that includes practical advice on how to deal with clients with intellectual disabilities in an interview at the office. Furthermore, the practical part contains an analysis of competencies required by employers in the position of social worker based on ads offering job. Communicating with people with intellectual disabilities in the City Office is neglected topic, but very important, due to the efforts to integrate people with intellectual disabilities into society as much as possible. The ability of a social worker to communicate and negotiate with people with intellectual disabilities may be one of the ways to access offices for these clients.

Possibilities of Providing First Aid by Trained Members of the Army of the Czech Republic in Foreign Missions

This Bachelor thesis deals with possibilities that trained members of the Army of the Czech Republic have when giving first aid on their foreign missions. It deals with the soldiers who have passed through a special Combat Lifesaver Course (later just CLS), the activity of doctors and middle medical staff in medical centres is not involved. The work is divided in two parts ? theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I summarized the specifics of giving first aid in field conditions and the basic principles that military medical staff follow. There are into detail described actions that a Combat Lifesaver performs in case a fellow fighter is injured, to ensure their vital signs immediately after the injury and to transport them to a higher level medical facility. The aim of this work is to provide an idea of giving first aid in the tactical environment of experts and to point out numerous peculiarities which differentiate it from the first aid we know from the civil life. That´s because combat conditions bring lots of restrictions and risks for the injured as well as for the medical staff providing urgent care. The method selected for the qualitative research in the practical part is semi directive interview. The interviews were held with four members of the Army of the Czech Republic, who have attended the above mentioned course and have taken part in a foreign mission with that specialization, and with two instructors of the CLS course. The questions were about the way of selecting soldiers for the CLS course, their training and preparation before their departure to a foreign mission. There were also analysed the competences and obligations of a Combat Lifesaver in case of injury of a fellow fighter. The research has demonstrated that soldiers are selected for the Combat Lifesaver course mainly according to the requirements for the foreign missions. The aim of the selection is the presence of at least one soldier with medical training in each crew. The only requirement on the soldiers that must be fulfilled before departing to a foreign mission is completion of the cited course. Other activities, like training other members of the crew and rounding off their knowledge are up to their consideration. It´s been proved that a Combat Lifesaver fulfils their tasks at a foreign mission in the same way as any other soldier and their specialization is applied only in case of injury of a fellow fighter. They most often deal with gunshot and fragment wounds.

Diploma thesis "Lost property - the work and motherhood" is trying to capture the experience of motherhood and life strategy of mothers - university graduates who - even partially - started working earlier than is usual in Czech Republic. Before their kids were 2 years old. There are six stories of motherhood that are both similar and different from each other. All focused on work and career lives of those mothers. Development of pupils' key competences in context of cultural heritage

Knowleges of the national history and geography places where we live belong the important education sphere particularly called "Man and it's World." The aim of my thesis was the proposition suitable methods and showing them in the project related Nová Říše national history and geography knowleges. The methods I studied in class four - at ten years old pupils. I suppose the results of my theses will be able to be the base for drawing up strategies the basic school in this sphere. I think the project will influence young pupils and stir up their feelings of the existence in relation to the surrounding environment - to its nature, culture and society.

Study of competitiveness of spinach sorrel (\kur{Rumex tianshanicus x Rumex patientia}) against weeds

The sorrel, Rumex OK-2 is able to produce a large amount of biomass, suitable for feed and energy purposes as well. The possibility of the spread of this crop in the wild is the subject of frequent discussions. The aim of this work was to evaluate the competitiveness of Rumex OK-2 to weeds and its ability to spread to new locations in the field. For the field research was chosen 12 years old Rumex OK-2 stand, which is the oldest one in the Czech Republic. Determination of coverage and weed presence was done by the weight method. Rumex OK-2 was not able to spread to new places.

Design of career plans in the IT and projects department in Česká spořitelna a.s.

The aim of this thesis is to design career plans in the IT and projects department in Česká spořitelna a.s. The theoretical part provides basic background and methodological section describes the methods used in the practical part. The practical part begins with the introduction of Česká spořitelna a.s. and more detailed description of the IT department. The next chapter deals with the description of job positions, starting with current job descriptions and following with job descriptions, which originated from semi-standardized interview with individual managers in the IT department. Next chapter is devoted to the career pyramid, which shows seniority of job positions in the IT department from two perspectives: managerial and expertise. At the end of the practical part, there are designed three career maps for selected positions together with specific methods of developing the required competencies.

Prevention of Social Pathological Phenomenons at Primary School - School Methodist for Prevention

My diploma thesis is mainly concerned with the prevention of the social pathological phenomenons on the primary and secondary schools and the role of the school methodist of prevention. The first section contains terminology and legislation from the domain of prevention, the rest of it take care of description of external and internal preventist operating at the primary schools. In the second part I am trying to make reader familiar with the basic competitions of prevention and with methods and forms of education, capable of passing desired behavioural models and social skills to the students of primary schools. The third part is devoted to the school methodist of prevention, to the description of his activities at the primary schools, his competencies. Along with it, there are informations about Minimal prevention program - basic set of rules and suggestions for prevention. The fourth part is dedicated to opinion poll amongst the school metodist of prevention in the area of Mlada Boleslav.

Tax Competition within Swiss Confederation

The study describes tax competition among cantons within Swiss Confederation. In the introductory chapter the reader gets familiarized with regional division of the country. There are three levels -- Federation, cantons and municipalities. Determination of tax competence is very important - for this study especially the limitation of the tax competition space is relevant. There are the most important legislative sources mentioned. In next chapter there is balancing mechanism described which eliminates the tax load diference among swiss cantons. In the last chapter the current situation in Switzerland is confronted with tax competition theory. There is focus on five cantons in central Switzerland - the most outstanding practises of canton Obwalden are closely described.

Existence of the quality management system, which is implemented and maintained, is practically a big necessity for the nowadays companies that want to win this fight.

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is Managerial competencies which is based on analysis of the problem and create a competency model for a human and resource manager that has been chosen by author in this particular company.
The theoretical part of this thesis, at the begining it has been examined the concept of manager and competencies. Further was define the components, and also have been investigated the definition of the competency model. After that, the processes have been described by creation a competency model.
The practical part includes description of the selected organization that name is Treolan, for which was created a competency model. Basis on the information that was obtained by interview with the human and resource manager of the selected organization as well, it was created a competency model by the specific process that was chosen by author of the thesis. The thesis has been authenticated over questionnaire at the end of work.
