New Media in Communication within Communities

Opening part of this paper is dedicated to the ongoing shift in social communication paradigm. An introduction to the subject of new media, web 2.0 concepts and social network sites phenomenon is followed by a discussion of integration possibilities of particular web 2.0 services. Some concerns about privacy, security, legislative framework and general openness of such system are discussed afterwards. A real case study of community virtualization process is introduced in the second part of this thesis. The case takes place in community of local non-profit club of youth and children. First, it is carried out an analysis of the communication receiver groups and the message types. We also describe the ongoing project of launching a new web site (made from several integrated web 2.0 services) and partial results of pilot implementation. Finally, the plan of the next integration steps is designed.
Analisis information during extraordinary occurrences

The aim of this graduation thesis is to bring a concise survey and analysis of safety in-formation systems and their configuration in the relation to the chemical and refining plants. Initially, it processes the information in general, presents it's life cycle and types of commu-nication. It also describes communication models. The second part depicts use of information systems in common life. The third part depicts particular application of safety information systems in the real chemical plants. This part shows main design problems and application of such systems. Using several examples, the third part presents classification, description and topology of the safety information systems. The known theoretical principles and the results of their analysis were used for the design of the safety information systems for the chemical plants. Finally, this graduation thesis evaluates the current state with future forecast.
The Leader of organization in information / knowledge society

The thesis aims to analyze the role and work as a leader in the organization through systemic approaches and systemic thinking. Highlight the changes coming with the transition to an information / knowledge society and the replacement of manual workers' by knowledge workers. Emphasize the importance that not only tools have changed, but also paradigm. Take leader as a complex person, not only as an instrument of power, and find a way to balance on the way to his goal in such turbulent times. Look at the organization as a system by system theory and find a correct set of functionality. Starting with creation of rules, through the issue of putting the right elements to ensure the desired interactions between them.
Staff performance and motivation in the organization (and design IT to support them)

Paper summarizes the importance of motivation and performance of employees in the organization. The primary goal of this paper is to propose solutions to increase motivation and thus performance. Meet this target would require the implementation of many activities, from finding present, the IS architecture, through detailed analysis of individual systems, which affect workers. Important too was the definition of where all the motivation and performance in man takes and how it can be measured. In the practical part I have done, according to gained experience, using the LMI survey questionnaire to identify weak areas of performance motivation. These results, I finally offered advice and firstly from a psychological perspective, and secondly in terms of IT and its main information system, the workers who come into contact every day and therefore has a huge impact on them. Contribution of the author of this thesis was to identify and increase motivation, through analysis and recommendations specified by the selected methodologies.
Analysis of communication and IT communication means in particular company

Mutual communication is one of the fundamental elements of human society. Its development has been enabled by sharing of sources and knowledge. Nowadays, information is considered to be one of the "production sources", some people regard it to be the most important one. Without the necessary information no company can succeed. Not only gaining of information is important, but also its spreading inside the company. Internal communication departments are in charge of these issues. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze internal communication of the company Johnson Controls International ltd., specifically in its Czech subsidiary (in the department of building maintenance), to identify the weak points of the internal communication and to suggest possible solutions. The thesis also aims to compare the practical functioning of the company's internal communication to the theory. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the company's internal communication and the IT communication means used. The practical part introduces the company and subsequently shows how its internal communication works including the description of the IT communication means used. The thesis also evaluates the current state of communication within the company, provides a comparison to theoretical bases and problem identification. Solutions of these problems are offered in the final part of this thesis.
Research on Perception of the Brand Palette

The thesis deals with the perception of a cosmetic brand Palette. It analyzes its communication activities and brand identity and compares them with its parent brand Schwarzkopf. The main goal is to find out how Czech consumers perceive this brand. It describes awareness, associations connected with the brand and attitude of consumers towards Palette. The main method to achieve the goals of this thesis is my own research conducted online and analysis of publicly available secondary data and private secondary data from Henkel company.
Marketing and communication strategy of the brand Scholl

This bachelor thesis focuses on the marketing and communication strategy of the brand Scholl. Scholl brand is well known for its footcare a footwear products. In the first theoretical part are described marketing strategies and communications in general. They are used in the main part to present the marketing mix and communication of Scholl brand. The last chapter analyzes its current marketing strategy and communication and presents its conclusions. The end of the thesis mentions the potential use of the offered recommendations.
Communication with the customer in the selected company

In my work I would like to present the phenomenon of communication with customers. I am presenting the concrete company, Maxin Prague Ltd., and its strategy on the field of communication with their clients. Firstly I am describing shortly the field of tourism and incoming industry, as the are that Maxin Prague concentrates on. Than I am presenting the competition atmosphere as well. Through more detailed definition of various kinds of communication with customers I an analysing the current attitude of Maxin Prague and afterwards I sum up and suggest possibilities for further development. Aftewards, I am analysing the quotation of the company and procedure of its creation. Of course, after this analyse I am presenting my opinions and suggestions for the future steps. In this work I am using my own experience in this company, futheremore I am using literature and other academic materials to support the work. My work should help the company to sum up the development until today and use the possibilities of suggested improvements in order to fight the strong competition.

The goal of practical part this work is map situation in soft skills by students 1st and 3rd year bachelor, attendance study and find out, if they have during their study ample opportunity for progress soft skills and if they feel improvement at the end 3rd year in this sphere.
