Utilization of internet social networking in marketing
TRINKLOVÁ, Veronika
This master thesis deals with ``Utilization of internet social networking in marketing{\crqq} and attempts to describe the area of internet social networks in general and find out possible ways how to use them within the marketing strategy of companies. The basis of the thesis is represented by exploratory research in this more and more popular and discussed area of virtual world and extended to a concrete example of its possible use within the chosen company.

IMAP extension for mobile devices
Kundrát, Jan ; Peterka, Jiří (advisor) ; Spousta, Miroslav (referee)
With the mass availability of smartphones, mobile access to e-mail is gaining importance. Over the years, the IMAP protocol has been extended with many features ranging from extensions adding new functionality to those improving efficiency over an unreliable network. This thesis evaluates the available extensions based on their suitability for use in the context of a mobile client. Three new extensions have been developed, each improving the protocol in a distinct way. The thesis also discusses how most of these extensions were implemented in Trojitá, the author's free software open source IMAP e-mail client.

This bachelor’s thesis analysis the present situation of the net infrastructure in the chosen organisation. Based on this analysis it is considered possibility to extend this net by the WiFi net including the choice of the suitable technologie and the proposal of the wireless net structure including the implementation of this solution into the organisation.

Extending Java Performance Monitoring Framework with Support for Linux Performance Data Sources
Júnoš, Peter ; Bulej, Lubomír (advisor) ; Babka, Vlastimil (referee)
Title: Extending Java Performance Monitoring Framework with Support for Linux Performance Data Sources Author: Peter Júnoš Department: Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems Supervisor: Ing. Lubomír Bulej, Ph.D Abstract: Java Perfomance Measurement Framework (JPMF) is a library, that is able to hook into program and gain performance information in given watchpoints. Notable drawback of currect implementation are missing sen- sors, that would be able to measure performance statistics related to stor- age, CPU, memory and network interfaces under Linux. Linux does not provide unified way of accessing such performance statis- tics. They can be accessed using virtual file systems, syscalls and netlink interface. The goal of this work is extending JPMF, so that it will provide measurement of mentioned performance statistics in a Linux-specific way. Keywords: performance measurement, JPMF, Linux, netlink stats, procfs stats 1

Bioassay Guided Separation of Metabolites of the Selected Plant Species - Evolvulus Alsinoides
Červenka, František ; Jahodář, Luděk (advisor) ; Grančai, Daniel (referee) ; Patočka, Jiří (referee)
9. SUMMARY 134 This experimental work deals with pharmaco-botanical evaluation of the aerial part of taxon Evolvulus alsinoides L. The plant is a component of formulations with nootropic and adaptogenic activity. A subject of the investigation was a dried herb of the plant, which is of Indian origin. The aim of this work was to extend the knowledge about compounds of the taxon, to evaluate biological activity of the fractions, isolated substances and to determine characteristic metabolites of the plant. In the first part of the project the crude extract of the plant E. alsinoides was prepared by percolation of 8.8 kg of herb with 95% ethanol. The extract was partitioned into three extracts by extracting by two solvents of different polarity (petroleum ether, ether). The first fraction of weight 92.1 g was obtained by extracting of methanolic solution of crude extract with petroleum ether. The second fraction of weight 69.7 g was obtained by extracting of water solution of the crude extract with ether. The remaining solvent was evaporated from the crude extract and this one represented the third part - polar residue, yield 231 g. The fractions were processed by the methods of column chromatography (CC). The bioassay-guided separation of selected parts of extract (test of acute toxicity, fototoxicity,...

The theme of moralities and depravities in reneissance decoration of sgraffitos in the Czech and Moravia architecture
Bulínová, Kristýna ; Nespěšná Hamsíková, Magdaléna (advisor) ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (referee)
THE THEME OF MORALITIES AND DEPRAVITIES IN RENAISSANCE DECORATION OF SGRAFFITOS IN THE CZECH AND MORAVIA ARCHITECTURE The thesis is focused on decoration of fronts in the renaissance architecture, there is special consideration to the theme of moralities and depravities and their iconography. Firstly, the theme is in general. There is decribed the sgraffitos technique and it's previous phases in Italy. Hereinafter, there is charakterised the slow perforation to our teritory with the oldest examples and later on with other pieces, and also the splitting of sgraffitos in two units. Thereafter, there is mentioned the sense of humane thinking in previous period, which came to our teritory, and extended idea of the influance of humane literature in our country over the morality tendency in the society. Those chapters are very important base to understand the meaning of popularity of the theme of moralities and depravities in illustrations at that time. Furthermore, there is underlined the signification of the graphic masters for creating sgraffitos decoration of fronts, there are also mentioned the most used themes, that were taken over the sgraffitos later on. After that follows the elaboration about iconography, mainly personification of moralities and depravities from their first illustration till the period...

High-speed rail transport in Japan
Barlík, Branislav ; Zelený, Lubomír (advisor) ; Kusá, Iveta (referee)
In bachelor work i tried to describe Shinkansen rail network in, which is located in Japan. I started with history of Japan and development of rail network, i described all major railways and trains used on Shinkansen. In the end i paid attention to possible future development, to prices and to safety of passangers.

Accelerated Neural Networks on GPU
Tomko, Martin ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of an application for artificial neural networks simulation and acceleration using a graphics processing unit. The computation and training of feedforward neural networks using the Backpropagation algorithm are the main focus of this thesis, but the application also supports other network types, and it makes it possible to extend the application with different training algorithms. Next, the application allows us to create neural networks with structural anomalies, and thus, to test the neural network's fault tolerance. The application is implemented in the C++ language, using OpenCL to manage GPU computation. The Backpropagation acceleration results were compared with the free open source library FANN.

Analysis of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic effectiveness with DEA models
Milnerová, Karolína ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Dlouhý, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with DEA models (Data envelopment analysis), which are models for measuring the efficiency of peer decision making units (DMUs). First part focus on basic DEA models (CCR model, BCC model) and this part is extended by new CH-CCR model, which considering that the variables (inputs or outputs) are usually strongly correlated. In second part is included description of network-based models, which are afterwards applicated on data of FRS CR (Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic). Using this models is solved efficiency of FRS CR through the regions.

Henzely, Július ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis includes theoretical knowledge about fundamental informations related to functionality of mobile networks, with focus on MANET routing protocols. The project contains an overview of routing protocols, especially OSPFv3 routing protocol. In the practical section of project, there is a brief description of OPNET Modeler simulation environment and the process of establishing the network with configured routing protocol in it. The project also describes a procedure for extending of the Hello packet structure by a field containing node traffic speed in OPNET Modeler.
