Connection of the magic potion and the adulterous love in comparison of medieval books: Cligès and Tristan et Iseut This thesis treats connection of magic potion and adulterous love. Main analyzed literary works are legend of Tristan and Isolde and Cligès. Another book is included to them: Frayre de Joy et Sor de Plaser because of its close relationship to those works by its topic of love and magical element. Many authors have composed books about the myth of Tristan and Isolde. This work is based on its French versions, written by Béroul, Thomas, Marie de France, Folie Tristan of Berne and Oxford, and Old Norwegian Saga whose author did not write it in French, but it had complete Thomas`s version as a model. Chrétien de Troyes, famous medieval writer, has created Cligès. The last literary work used in this thesis is an Occitan novel by an anonymous author. Theme of love triangle in Tristan and Isolde corresponds with the one in Cligès. It consists of a husband, a wife and her lover who is her husband's nephew. There are magic potions having great influence on the love of the main heroes in both of these stories. Freyre de Joy et Sor de Plaser has got a similar theme of the extramarital love and the magic herb. Kuda, Daniel ; Mašek, Radomír (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
Sport in Brno has its own great tradition, which is visible on huge stadiums situated in the sports complex Za Luzankami. Unfortunately, stadiums dilapidated and the whole areal turn to brownfield. The proposal of new multipurpose Kometa Arena, located at the site of the original, now demolished stadium, together with the planned new football stadium will initiate the reconstruction of the district, and get it back to past glories. The stadium belongs to the category of buildings where form follows function, which in this case primarily allow for a quality perspective on the pitch for a large number of spectators. In this case, the stands are also the main supporting structure of the whole stadium. On platforms anchored to the stands are located the modifiable cells containing functions related to the arena. The appearance of the stadium is determined by transparent facade that allows the neighborhood to see what is happening in the stadium and provides interesting views from high arena of the surrounding park, arboretum and the city.

Bernovský, Ondřej ; MRÁZKOVÁ, Giedre (advisor) ; ŽĎÁRSKÁ, Petra (referee)
Abstract The term toccata denotes mostly a piece written in free form, that is by its nature intended almost exlusively for a keyboard instrument. It can be characterised as a virtuoso improvisatory piece, in which the impression of improvisation is effectively evoked. The understanding of the toccata as a musical genre went through many changes. Every composer has added his personal characteristics to its style, which were later imitated and individually re-created by the next generations of composers. The toccata was developping since late renessaince and baroque and became a substantial compositional tool that used many styles and played different roles.

The Armenian Community in the Czech Republic in the context of Transnational Migration
Lhotová, Jana ; Burcin, Boris (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
Due to progress in informational and communication technologies, accessible long-distance traffic and a gradually globalizing world, the nature of the movement of migrants has lately been developing into its new stage. Migrants often take part in a transnational process that enables them to create and sustain multiple social ties to their country of origin as well as to new host countries. Their identities are frequently formed in relation to more than one national state. This study aims to describe transnational characteristics in the behaviour of the Armenian community in the Czech Republic both in the economic and sociocultural spheres. Based on qualitative research, carried out in the spring of 2009 among the Armenian community in the Czech Republic, the study focuses on the causes of migration, family issues, economical activity of migrants, perception of their cultural and national identity, as well as on the strength of their ties to their nation and the country of origin. Furthermore the study describes recent migration flows from Armenia and defines characteristics of the international Armenian diaspora including the minority living in the Czech Republic.
