Práce analyzuje aktuální pozici BiH v evropském prostoru s důrazem na její vztahy s Evropskou unií. I když se dá Evropská unie dnes považovat za hlavního aktéra, rozhodně není jediná, která zde má vliv. Události v Bosně jsou z pochopitelných důvodů silně ovlivněny děním v sousedních státech -- Chorvatska a Srbska. Svou roli hrají i tradiční zájmy Ruské federace a "vynucená" angažovanost Spojených států amerických. Dílčím cílem práce je rovněž vystihnutí hlavních trendů ve vztazích s těmito ostatními relevantními aktéry a jejich srovnání se vztahy Bosny a Hercegoviny s Evropskou unií. This paper analyzes current situation in BiH v european context with emphasis on BiH relations with European union. Although we could consider EU as major power, there are other international actors which have also significant influece there. These are BiH neighbours - Croatia and Serbia, Russian federation and United states of America.
