This diploma thesis is focused on the financial health of the company, whose business is based on distribution of racing class ships all over the world. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and to propose ways to improve it. At first, the thesis deals with the theoretical basis of the company's economic analysis. Then these theoretical starting points for the company are practically applied. Consequently, according to the results, the economic situation of the company is interpreted and measures have been proposed to ensure a positive financial condition of the analyzed company.

The theoretical part focuses mainly on the definition of basic, but necessary concepts for the understanding of the issue. Subsequent practical part analyzes the status of claims in a particular organization. Custom forms part presents comprehensive proposals and recommendations on claims management system, including preventive measures against the occurrence of problem debts, their effective management and administration as well as possible ways of.

This thesis deals with the issue of claims management of wholesale company VELKOOBCHOD HEVA. The theoretical part elaborates on the legal, accounting, taxation and financial aspects of the claims. Loan policies and their particular measures, as well as hedging instruments and methods of claims enforcement have also been described. In the practical part, particular methods of claims management and enforcement employed by VELKOOBCHOD HEVA have been introduced. The actual claims structure of VELKOOBCHOD HEVA will be analysed in the final part of the thesis.

Business expansion from the Czech Republic to the Polish market demonstrated on an example of a specific company

The diploma thesis describes all particular steps which have to be made by a company in case of expansion onto Polish market. The Polish market and its attractiveness to Czech companies is analyzed within the scope of first chapter. In the following chapters there are described the sources for gaining all necessary information and possibilities to find clients in the Republic of Poland. A significant attention is paid to the hedging instruments in order to guarantee first signed contracts. The issue of VAT in terms of trade with the Republic of Poland and the issue of Intrastat is brought to the reader's attention in detail in the last chapter. A case study of a company TECH, which had already successfully realized the expansion onto Polish market, is presented in the thesis. This way the theoretical information are transferred to the practical level and interesting and real situations and examples are offered to the reader.

Analysis of Receivables Management of Rostex Vyškov, Ltd

The diploma thesis titled "Analysis of receivables management in Rostex Vyškov, s. r. o." deals with claims from legal, accounting and tax point of view in its theoretical part. It describes the receivables management process, the risk influence and the importance of preventive measures against the problem claims occurrence. It also deals with debt collection and analyzes the impact of late payments and bad debts on the economic activities. Conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on out-of-court and judicial methods of debt collection. The practical part analyzes the receivables management in Rostex Vyškov, s. r. o. After a brief financial assessment of the company, it focuses primarily on claims records, supplier selection and control. Accounts receivables turnover time and payback period in the Czech Republic and Europe are confronted too. Finally, possible main reasons for the occurrence of outstanding claims are discussed together with the most common tools of credit management in the Czech Republic, in comparison with Europe again.

The development of payment behavior in selected European countries during crisis

This thesis analyzes the evolution of payment behavior with focus on a few selected European countries, namely the Czech Republic, the Slovak republic, Germany, Greece and Finland, especially during the economic crisis (from the year 2008 to 2012). The first chapter is about the concept of payment behavior, than about the development of the current economic crisis and finally there are some institutions dealing with assessment of payment behavior. The second part concerns to the analysis of indicators on which is based the evaluation of payment behavior of particular countries. In the last part of this thesis are mentioned the most common forms of the securing of the payment failure's risk.

Management of BAK, a.s. receivables

This thesis deals with the management of the receivables of BAK,Inc. In the theoretical part are characterized receivables from the perspective of legal, accounting and tax. Further is described the management of receivables and this description is based on the elements of management of receivables, ie analysis of customers, terms of trade, recovery of receivables and, finally, monitoring the status and trends of the receivables. The core of this work is the description of the specific receivables management system in BAK, Inc., which is divided into two fundamental dimensions, namely the prevention and recovery. In conclusion of the practical part are analyzed the structure and status of receivables for years 2007 to 2009 with the help of financial ratios.
