Design of vacuum tube compressor for audio signal processing
Valach, Ondřej ; Vrba, Kamil (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
The seminar work deals with the problem of compressors and compressor LA2A in general. It discusses terms associated with the dynamics of the signal. The first part of the text is centred on the theoretical introduction, which discusses the concepts associated with the dynamic of signals. There is explained the principle of compression and parameters that are associated with this process. The second part is devoted purely to construction of the compressor, which is based on a well-known type LA2A. It describes its individual parts and their interrelation. At the end of the text it is proposed the idea of adding two features beyond the original LA2.
Implemetation of FIR sound processor with minimal processing latency
Brhel, Tomáš ; Frenštátský, Petr (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of the universal FIR processor for long signals processing. Subsequently, it focuses on processing of the two-channel input signal and the reduction of the process delay. Matlab and framework JUCE are used as an interactive environment for algorithm development.
Spectral method for motor parameters identification
Sedláček, Filip ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Pohl, Lukáš (advisor)
This project deals with the problem of spectral method for system identification. Introductory part acquaints reader with basic concept of identification and explains its application in practice. It describes and mathematically derives two non-parametric methods for identification – correlation method and spectral analysis. The main aim of this final project is testing and implementation of spectral analysis in system parameters identification, which is specifically described in remaining sections of this project. These sections discuss a fundamental rules, procedures and principles in order to prepare a reader as much as possible for its final application in REAL-TIME system identification.
Measurement of general characteristics of microphones
Orság, Petr ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The task of this Bachelor´s thesis is to introdukce the characteristics usually used acoustic pressure sensors (microphones) and thein measurement. It deals design of the measurement workplace and the treatment software for measuring the frequency response of microphones.
Methods of Technical Diagnostics
Klusáček, Stanislav ; Ďaďo, Stanislav (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The main objective of the presented thesis is to contribute to the development of diagnostic methods for piezoelectric sensor testing. The thesis describes the methods for piezoelectric sensors microcracks identification and diagnostics. The core of the thesis presents the development of a knock sensor prototype, design of suitable methods for the knock sensors diagnosis and evaluation of developed methods with focus on detection of microcracks in the sensor piezoceramic. The last part of the thesis deals with the influence of cracks and splits on the measured data from the piezoelectric transducer. The presented methods are focusing on impedance measurements and sensors frequency response measurements. Known properties of used piezoelectric material as an information source for measurement and diagnosis are provided. The main result of the work is the evaluation of the methods developed for the piezoelectric sensors self-diagnosis.

Dynamics of heating surfaces and radiators including control valves
Bartusek, Jiří ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is theoretically described heating surfaces, radiators and regulation valves. There are also described their features, advantages and disadvantages and division according to design. The aim of the work is determine the dynamics characteristics of heating surfaces and radiators including control valves, which are parts of measurement panel. Based on the measurement are determined appropriate characteristics of which are calculated values for regulating. The result of this study can serve as a guide to the practical measurement method of dynamics characteristics of the real-working heating systems, or serve as a template for the settings according to the measured data.
Experimental workplace of controlled drive with high dynamics
Rozkošný, Miroslav ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with the basic principle of the frequency inverter and his construnction. In the next section are analyze the basic properties and characteristics of the using equipment. The main part of this thesis is to investigate the dynamic properties of asynchronous electric motor controlled by a frequency inverter using STARTER. The results of experiments are compared and analyzed.
Design of 10-channel audio equalizer with optimization of frequency characteristic and spectral audio analyzer
Štěrba, Václav ; Dvořák, Radek (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with the design of a 10-zones equalizer with optimized frequency characteristics with a spectrum audio analyzer. In this work the problem of processing audio signals using equalization for filtering the interference frequencies, correction of frequency cover signal boost or suppression of the required zones of the audible spectrum are also analyzed. The influence of subjective perception of sound intensity of the audio signals reproduction and its use in working with equalizer is discussed too. The work describes the principles and usage of the audio-analyzer as a tool for the optimization of the audio equalization setting when ensuring the appropriate listening conditions of music reproduction, spoken word, sounds, etc. It also focuses on the signal source for testing audio-chains, their generation and measurement using the audio analyzer. The equalizer equipment, audio-analyzer generator of reference signals equipment and power supply are designed as a single unit.
VFA and CFA comparison
Vystrčil, Marek ; Hubálek, Jaromír (referee) ; Stehlík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on comparison of operational amplifiers structures with voltage (VFA) and current (CFA) feedback. In the theoretical part there is an analysis properties of operational amplifiers. Attention is paid to advantages of particular amplifiers in concrete networks. The practical part contains the simulations of those networks with an aim to assess characteristic properties and a difference between applied circuits. I used the operational amplifier µA741 for the simulation of the structure VFA. I used the amplifier AD8011 for the simulation with current feedback. I added the theoretical and practical differences between comparative structures.
