Title: The Impact oflntercultural Dťfferences on International Business Goals: The main goal of my project was to find out and further investigate the impact of intercultural differences on long-term relations and succesful dealings with people from other cultures. The first step was to introduce the theory and tactics used in negotiation itself, then the influence of the participants' personalities and last but not least, the key issues of the major world economies. The actual importace of applying the right dealing skills in practice was shown through authentic examples of persona! experince of "The Riickl Crystal Company's" employees. Results: Confirmation of my opening hypothesis that cultural awareness is of critical importace in deciding the relative fortunes of the major world economies. Those institutions and organisations that recignize this fact will have the lead on those that neglect it. Methods: descriptive analysis - theoretical outloně based on literature observing - defining the problem questioning - interview with the experts Key words_; negotiation, comunication, culture, intercultural differences

Protection against bribery and corruption and their prevention

Generating data using the LM Reverse-Miner
Stluka, Jakub ; Šimůnek, Milan (advisor) ; Kliegr, Tomáš (referee)
In past years, great attention has been paid to evolutionary algorithms and they have been utilized in wide range of industries including data mining field, which nowadays presents a highly demanded product for many commercial institutions. Both mentioned topics are combined in this work. Main thesis subject is testing of new Reverse-Miner module, which can generate data with hidden properties using evolutionary algorithms while using also other modules of LISp-Miner system, commonly used for the purposes of data mining. Main goal lies in generation of two databases by the module in such way so they would meet explicitly set requirements. Other goals are also set within the thesis in the form of understanding the domain necessary for subsequent modeling. The result of the practical part of the thesis is represented not only by two successfully generated databases, but also by description of steps, methods and techniques used. The common recommendations for data preparation by module Reverse-Miner are later summarized, based on experience with modeling. Previous thesis outputs are furthermore contemplating the conclusion of analysis of technical means used for generation and they also provide several suggestions for possible future extensions.

Impulses and Shapes of Expressionism
Ziebikerová, Alena ; Stejskalová, Anna (referee) ; Hrabáková, Jaroslava (advisor)
The thesis starts with an attempt at defining the notion of "expressionism" in the context of modemism and avant-garde, followed by a general outline of the expressionist art, as it manifested itself in different art forms, both in the wider European context and in the special case of the Czech art scene. Here the stress is laid on the characterisation of new means of expression that Expressionism as a new and arising modem or avant-garde art movement brings out. At the end of the first part basic facts about Expressionism in the Czech literature are given, which also serve as introductory notes for the subsequent chapters dealing with particular writers. First part thus constitutes a theoretical basis and guidelines for the themes of the second part. The two chapters of the second part deal with Czech writers Josef Čapek and Jakub Deml and their pieces usually associated with (unlike the rest of their works) Expressionism; it is an attempt to present the selected literary texts as types or representatives of how expressionism manifested itself in the Czech prose. The chapter Josef Čapek's Lelio is a synopsis of scholarly retlections on Le- lio; various approaches to determine which movement the text belongs or could belong to are presented and compared. Of Jakub Deml's writings, Hrad smrti and...

Historical experiments as a motivating element in chemistry teaching
V publikacích z historie chemie se dozvídáme vesměs pouze o tom kdy, kdo a z čeho co objevil, popřípadě lze nalézt schéma původní aparatury. Protože u původní literatury jsou konkrétní pracovní postupy velice těžce dosažitelné, je potřeba pro školní praxi navrhnout nové a dostupné pracovní postupy , které by tyto původní objevy ilustrovaly. Z uvedených důvodů je následující práce věnována právě tomuto problému. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The Concept of Science According to Paul Karl Feyerabend
Brouček, Luděk ; Hogenová, Anna (referee) ; Hajnal, László (advisor)
The approach to science to Paul KarI Feyerabend follows this approximate model: The pragmatic goal is to find the solution of a problem. Based on a concrete situation, we elaborate on a random hypothesis which can solve. the problem, and because of that, we expand our knowledge. The approach to the choice of hypotheses or theories cannot be restricted by the scientific point of view, nor by scientific method or scientific demarcation. We are left to elaborate, and let alternative hypotheses compete with each other. Feyerabend provided evidence that this is free approach to the extetion of knowledge more effectively defends against rigid exclusivity, and indoctrination of ideology. Reality is more uncomprehensively rich and methodology binds. In this work a view of the world in which we are now living is presented. It is an approach to the world derived from history. It is about Relativism. This view is presented by the life work of the Austrian professor of philosophy Paul KarI Feyerabend.

Usage of automated testing in terms of cost and benefits
Lízner, Tomáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Zelenka, Petr (referee)
This master's thesis is aimed at creating a methodology for the selection of suitable test for automation testing. The first part is devoted to the definition of the prerequisites for introduction of automated testing and the conditions for its effective course. The second part focuses on defining the exclusion criteria of tests which are unsuitable for automation. The following third part is devoted to defining the selection criteria for the determination of the test priority for automation. The selection criteria have been approved by the head of this thesis and consulted with the supervisor of the practical project, on which the criteria were tested for the first time. Based on these criteria, the individual manual tests are evaluated. Final count of points is used for determination of the test priority. The fourth section is devoted to calculation of the return on investment in automated testing. Because the investments made into the automated testing are very high, it must be assured that their amount will return for the selected period. The fifth part is focused on defining the principles for ensuring the proper maintenance of automated tests and describing the technical complications and frequent problems that may occur during automated testing. The last section is devoted to pilot verification of the methodology on a practical project and for determination of the test priority for automation.
