Nature trail project proposition called " Around the Vrbenská pool"

The natural monument Vrbenská tůň is located in České Vrbné on the northwest edge of České Budějovice. It is the remainder of the winding original stream Dehtářský potok in the wide flat alluvium of the Vltava river. This thesis provides essential information behind development of a project about public nature trails and information boards in the wildlife. A first section describes natural characteristics of an area, foundation of projects, history of public footpaths in the Czech Republic, their types and signage. The main part is devoted to a proposal of a specific type of design of a nature trail, terrain mapping and consequent selection of the best route, creating designs and texts of individual noticeboards including visual documentation and signage. The appendix covers anticipated budgets of the project, photographic documentation, maps, spatial designs that graphically demonstrates the given location.

Healthy lifestyle of senior citizens and the possibility of influencing it

This thesis deals with the lifestyle of Czech senior citizens. Its goal is to identify barriers to a healthy lifestyle for seniors. It examines whether seniors live in a healthy manner and how they can best be motivated to do so. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of the term "healthy lifestyle". Inasmuch as the thesis deals with seniors, it was also necessary to define the terms "senior" and "active aging". The thesis refers to current demographic developments, where the terms health support and social marketing are described. The practical portion deals with research performed on a sample of 105 Czech seniors aged 60 and over. In its conclusion, based on the barriers found, the thesis proposes a social marketing programme to improve the lifestyle of Czech senior citizens, thereby also improving their quality of life.

Business and motherhood in families with a child with a disability

Motherhood and performing a profession belong to nowadays women?s life. In both cases there can be some deviations. Regarding a professional career comes to a method of operating. This bachelor thesis deals just with entrepreneurship. The deviation in motherhood offers birth of a child with disabilities. Maternity receives unusual and different dimension in this case. The first chapter tries to define motherhood from the very nature of a woman as a mother. It mentions also current trends that affect motherhood. This chapter describes also the concept the mother of a child with disabilities, which includes what this specific motherhood entails. Professional specialization is a part of everyone life today, including women and women mothers. The second chapter analyzes the success of women in the labor market and also mothers who are interested in the job opportunities after maternity leave. Return does not always have to be an easy task for mothers or employers, who may adhere to prejudices. Job opportunities also provide business that fulfills the same function, but offers many additional risks as well as benefits. The chapter also mentions the benefits of working activities for mothers taking care of children with disabilities. Family and its functionality is an inseparable part of the education for children and woman's working activities. The third chapter gives definition of family and its functions and the overall running of a family system. But the family, in which appears a child with a disability, shows some differences from normal families. The constituent part of this chapter about family is a process description of coping with a child with disabilities. Acceptance of some differences is not easy. It's rather difficult critical situation and everyone must solve it on its own. But that is the specific sequence of certain stages followed by the adoption such a child. Last chapter provides a description of a child with disabilities. Each child is an individual. The individuality of children with disabilities is enhanced by the type and extent of disability. A time of disability can also become decisive; age in fact brings a number of specifics stemming from the age. Any child with a disability as well as all children has some mental equipment, which they usually receive from their parents. For children with disabilities is extremely important their surroundings. There are a lot of people who move around the child, members of the family are the most important and then come relatives. But this can be anyone who is in contact with the child. It means their attitude to disability, and also their attitude to a human overall. Based on the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part the best target to find out the conditions and connections of such mothers who this combination successfully in their life realize. The basic research question is established in accordance with the work order. Qualitative research with design case studies has provided the best possible answers to the research question. Semi-structured interviews with two women fulfilling necessary conditions are in-depth and provide piece of interesting information for the research. There are mentioned reports about respondents in the results. The reports are created from extensive interviews in which women described their motherhood with a child with disabilities, entrepreneurship and families. But the most important there were the connections which these facts have between themselves. The bachelor thesis has informative character with possible solutions of work activity in the case of a child with a disability in the family. It can inform the general public, especially those who are interested in this issue.

Phonetics in the teaching of German as a foreign language

This thesis explains the role of phonetics in the teaching of German as a foreign language. The beginning examines the present state - here I try to target in particular the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and its parts that have to do with phonetics. Next, I explain certain terms with which I work with in most of the thesis. The next chapter concentrates on the role that phonetics play in the teaching of foreign languages. In the practical part of this work I deal with the differences of Czech and German pronunciation. The changes I discovered by comparing both languages became the fundamentals of the phonetic analysis of twenty recordings that obtained a total of 1480 analyzed documents, from which I determined that Czech students have the hardest time pronouncing the following German sounds , , , and . The task of the next analysis was to determine how the pronunciations of these problematic sounds are processed in the following text books: Delfin, Planet and Tangram. The best text book was Tangram, then Delfin and the worst was Planet. Unfortunately, none of the text books emphasize pronunciation and exercising it to a sufficient degree.

Název: Analýza zimního přípravného období v profesionálním fotbalu The analysis ofthe winter preparatory period in professional football Cíle práce: Cílem této práce je provést kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýzu zimních přípravných období a na základě výsledků se pokusit zjistit, jakým směrem se ubírají současné tréninkové metody a v čem se liší od obecně platných principů didaktického pojetí zimního přípravného období. Dalším cílem je zjištění, jakým způsobem se změní charakter a struktura zimního přípravného období v souvislosti s posunem jarních kol profesionálních soutěží na pozdější termín. Metoda: Použitá metoda výzkumu je metoda vědeckého pozorování. Pozorování bylo přímé, skryté, participované- úplný participant a probíhalo v přirozených podmínkách. Bylo uskutečněno v zimním přípravném období prvoligového klubu SK Slavia Praha v roce 2004. Dále probíhalo v zimním přípravném období druholigového celku FC Hradec Králové v roce 2007. Výsledkem výše zmíněných pozorování byly denní záznamy tréninkových jednotek, které byly následně použity jako materiály pro výzkumnou činnost. Po provedení obsahové analýzy pedagogických záznamů tréninkových jednotek, byly výsledky obou příprav porovnány s teoretickým modelem a zároveň mezi sebou, a to použitím metody komparace. Building of large Data Warehouses on MS SQL Server 2008 platform

This diploma thesis deals with building of large Data Warehouses on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 platform. First part of the thesis discuss about news in MS SQL Server 2008, which I have considered as being important for Business Intelligence area. Following chapters are focused on approach to implementation of real Data Warehouse for Customs Administration of Czech Republic on MS SQL Server 2008 basis. These parts of the thesis cover specifics of the Customs Administration of Czech Republic, current state of Data Warehouse and reasons for migrating to MS SQL Server 2008. Further the thesis describes both logical and physical architecture of proposed solution and a way of implementation Data Warehouse on MS SQL Server 2008. The main aim of the thesis is to create a list of critical success factors (CSF) of building large Data Warehouses on MS SQL Server 2008 platform. It's not only plain list CSF, but rather the best practices for MS SQL Server Data Warehouses implementation. The most significant contribution of this thesis is that it offers instruction manual for designing and implementing large Data Warehouse on MS SQL Server basis. Background for the creation of summary of CSV and recommendations were vendor's publications and especially my own experience with the product. My colleagues from company Adastra gave me an advisory opinion as well.

Těstoviny s přídavkem vlákniny a jejich přínos ve výzivě člověka

The aim of the thesis entitled "Pasta with addition of fiber and their benefits to human nutrition" was to design a suitable recipe for the production of gluten-free pasta. In the laboratory at the Institute of Food Technology at Mendel University was produced a 30 samples of gluten-free pasta altogether and they were made from gluten-free ingredients - rice and corn flour. Various types of fibers with different length have been added to increase the nutritional value of products. As a substitute for gluten was used hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. There were measured hardness of all pasta samples from physico-chemical methods. Further tests of cooking and sensory evaluation of raw and cooked pasta were performed. As sensory the best evaluated samples were prepared from rice flour containing 4% (sample no. 21) and 8% (sample no. 22) wheat fiber type WF 600 and without the addition of any fiber (sample no. 30).

Qualitative overview of knowledge in the art of paddling a kayak. Description shot exploded basic phases. Synthesis of practical and theoretical knowledge discipline of K4. Ad 2. Analysis, the subject of which is a set of results top world races levels. We define variants waveform rate, that affect the explicit transformation (order ships in goal) and we find the relationship to the quality of results achieved various options strategies. Results ad 2 shows the most frequently used options strategies used in the discipline K4 1000 meters the world's best crews in recent years. Using A/B testing and multivariate testing to increase web profitability

This text concerns methods of parallel quantitative testing of web pages in order to increase their profitability. These methods bring new possibilities and overcome drawbacks of their ancestors. This work deals in detail with preparation, execution and result evaluations of quantitative tests. In chapters concerning test preparation this text describes the right technique of hypothesis formulation and selection of method for their verification. Text continues with description of tools available for conducting quantitative testing. Following chapters contain set of best practices and suggestions for successful testing. In its practical part, the text proves benefits of these methods by results interpretation of two successful tests conducted on a real e-commerce project and corporate website. Practical part also describes technical aspects of conducted tests in detail.

Analysis of mobile sports applications

Bachelor thesis is focused on selected mobile sports applications, which record results achieved in the course of helping to develop the sport in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the thesis is testing sports applications and evaluation of results. The subject of the work is the analysis of sports mobile application, explore the situation on the market of mobile applications, characterization of trends and questionnaire survey. The paper describes the functions of sports applications and its practical use. In conclusion the author evaluates the results, questionnaire survey and testing of applications with the help of sports data collection between users and non-users of mobile sports applications. Reader can evaluate the pros and cons of mobile sports applications and choose the one that best meets the evaluation criteria.
