Creation of the information technology curricula at primary school

The aim of this thesis is to create a curriculum for the education information technology at primary school. This work is oriented on the creation material for pupils and teachers; this means working material for pupils and methodological material for teachers. The exercises are oriented to the basic work with a computer and application technologies in contemporary society. This work also contains the testing of some exercises in practice.

SPECIFICS OF PREVENTION OF CHICANE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL

The final bachelor thesis deals with the bullying at the primary schools. Introductory chapters describe the characteristics of the phenomenon of bullying and possibilities of prevention at the primary schools. The practical part is based on quantitative research that was done with teachers from the primary schools in Tábor district. The outcome of this part was to determine whether schools pay attention to the prevention of bullying, whether there are already some preventative measures against bullying at the primary schools and whether teachers use the preventive methods against bullying in the lessons. There was also done exploration between the pupils of primary schools; survey was to determine whether pupils understood the word bullying. The research results are graphically depicted and evaluated. The end of the practical part includes recommendations for the prevention of bullying.

The Stories in the Children's Artistic Expression

Thesis "The stories in the children's artistic expression" focuses on creative expression preschool children. I focus on artistic expression, the drawing and its phases, the reasons why the children draws, on imaging space and patterns of children's drawings in the theoretical part. I deal with topics, symbols and colors that kids for drawing use. I focus on fairy tales, stories and their meaning, as the name of thesis. The last chapter is about ideas for art activities and concerns of teachers. In the practical part I focus on drawing the story going, on finding differences and on the search for similarities in artistic expression. The practical part includes magazine stories.

Phonetic transcription in lower-secondary school English classes

This thesis deals with phonetic transcription in lower-secondary school English classes. The theoretical part concerns the relationship between pronunciation and transcription. It also outlines the present situation from the point of view both, the teacher and learner, and examines transcriptional systems in lower-secondary textbooks. The practical part is aimed to the analysis of learner?s skills to take down familiar and unknown words with phonetic transcription and read it afterwards. The presented recommendations and the methodical manual with types of exercises, which would help to improve the learner?s pronunciation quality by using phonetic transcription, are based on the found connections.

Teacher as an example in the process of education

The thesis focuses at the meaning and significance of an example in the process of upbringing a child; the formation of personality is investigated mainly in the milieu of a small town. The introductory part presents a historical overview of knowledge concerning studying the teachers' example and its influence in the process of education. The following chapters deal with the theoretical analysis of the example, the principles and laws of immitating it, psychological interpretations, and comparison of it in the structure of other psychological mechanisms. The next chapters concern the analysis of basic causes and results of the influence of potential examples of human behaviour. The proces of the example's influence is conditioned by a multitude of external and internal factors; therefore the work includes the description of the phenomena connected with the ontogenesis of a pupil's personality and a brief description of specific characteristics of the milieu of a small town. The last part includes the theoretical analysis of the conditions and possibilities of a teacher's influence as an example; moreover, the possibility of the compesation of missing examples by the teacher's one is discussed. Selected chapters from health propedeutics - cold baths, alcohol and smoking in adolescents aged 16 to 19 years.

This Bachelor thesis deals with the subject of cold bathes, alcohol and smoking of adolescents aged 16 to 19 years. The sense of this theme is based on the trying to find out, what knowledge and experience to the youth of today in these three areas. There are three objectives of the bachelor thesis. The first objective of this work is to compare the knowledge of students aged 16-19 years from selected schools (School of Nursing, grammar school and extension study providing secondary education with a school-leaving examination) in a selected group of girls and boys. The next objective includes views and experiences of the given topics. The last objective is to compile educational material for teachers, which will be certified in practice. Methodology of this work is based on presentation of own designed survey to probands.

Burnout syndrome among university teachers

This thesis deals with burnout syndrome among university teachers. The theoretical part consists of three main parts and focuses on definition of the burnout syndrome, its characteristics and causes. The second part deals with burnout syndrome, particularly among teachers and the third one describes the ways of prevention. The practical part aims to measure the susceptibility of stress and burnout among teachers at the Pedagogical Faculty in Pilsen and in České Budějovice. A questionnaire Inventory manifestations of the syndrome was used for this purpose. The final part describes and compares results of both faculties.

Interactive web sites for testing students from mathematics on basic school

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create particular interactive web pages that would be focused on both the practice and the testing of elementary school pupils in selected areas of mathematics. This web application enables the pupils not only to practise their skills in 15 different categories comprising three levels of difficulty and to access their work groups, but also to complete assigned tests created by their teacher and to follow their progress in them as well. Apart from the test and the group creation, the application also enables the teachers to put in their own tasks and exercises and to monitor certain statistic indexes, for instance how well the pupils performed the assigned tasks. The first part of the thesis deals with the analysis of similar web pages and their comparison. The second part is then focused on the analysis and the design of the application itself and further describes the crucial parts of its development. The following, i.e. the third, part is devoted to possible security thrests and how to prevent them. The system implementation is described in the fourth part which also briefly characterizes all of the used technologies and tools when creating the web application. The final part discusses the use of this application at selected elementary and grammar schools.
