The New York School Poets and Visual Arts: The Poetry of John Ashbery and Frank O'Hara The poetry of the New York School poets is highly influenced by visual art; the poets, such as Frank O'Hara, John Ashbery, Kenneth Koch and John Schuyler, were affected mainly by Abstract Expressionism, Surrealism, Cubism and Dada. The reason why visual art had such a strong effect on their poetry is that the painters of the New York School dominated the art world, they set the trends, and poets and musicians followed them. Also, visual art played a major role in the lives of the poets as many of them were art critics and they often collaborated with the artists. The thesis focuses on two of the New York School poets, O'Hara and Ashbery, as the influence of visual art in their poetry is most prominent in comparison to the other New York School poets. O'Hara mainly uses the techniques of Abstract Expressionism and he is mostly interested in the art of Jackson Pollock. O'Hara's poems carry immediacy and they are based on the expression of the present moment. The focus on the present parallels with the techniques of action painting which channels the artist's self and emotions. Music as an Inspiration in Art Education

This thesis is focused on an interconnection of two disciplines within the frame of art lessons given at primary school. It investigates a musical and creative context (contemporary and historical) and its interaction and influence on each other. It concentrates on changes of musical and art comprehension from a time point of view, when old opinions and perceptions penetrate from the past to the present. The scope of this thesis is based on an extensive study of classical theories data and analyses of the qualitative research. Through all the document references and research data are mentioned to underline mutual relations and coherency between individual theoretical texts. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with theoretical research and possible interconnection of musical and art disciplines and it also deals with presentation of functions and changes of these disciplines. It elaborates a relative correlation of musical and art language and it also outlines their development and tendencies, including a description of outstanding artists and an explanation of important terms related to their works. The topic of the BSc. thesis is application of graphic art techniques in a nursery school. Teoretical part of the thesis is focused to development of graphic arts and to the most important authors both in the world and in Czech visual art. The next part deals with basic graphic techniques and preparatory garphic techniques,and with possibilities of their utilization in arts and crafts education in nursery school.Practical part of the BSc.thesis contains particular topics and approaches to the respective pre-graphic and graphic techniques appropriate for children of the pre-school age. The practicial part also contains photographic documentation of artworks of nursery school children.
Perception of Art and its Practise in the Free Time Activities with Children and Young People

The subject of diploma paper was anallysis of perception children and youth related to visual art. In the first chapter of theoretic part diploma paper I explain definitions related to the subject, i.e. that is fine art, aesthetics, culture, kitsch and relation of this species to the human being. In next chapters I acte problems, definition, delimitation of the odd time and I explain possibilities of transmission visual art to children and young people. The theoretic part of diploma paper is dedicated to possibilities of confrontation children and youth people with the visual art through various cultural institutions. This part of diploma paper is ended with basic dividing of spare-time activitity organizations. The practical part of diploma paper is dedicated to visual art project {\clq}qWho knows Piaristic square``, {\clq}qConversation`` and {\clq}qEntities in the nature``. Visual art expression of subjective experience evoked by visual perception of concrete image is the aim of this project. The project is intended for the children and youth in age between 8 and 24 years. I confront by means of projects both various components of visual art (painting, sculpture and architecture) and various movement epoch (gothic style, baroque and modern style). I wanted find the way how to transmit visual art to children and youth enjoyable, educational with aesthetic value. The end of the diploma paper summaries pieces of knowledge and perceptions from the visual art courses and projects.
Visual art Motivation through Visual art Techniques in Pedagogy of Leisure Time

The diploma paper consists of two parts {--} theoretical and practical. There are explained notions related to visual art motivation in the theoretical part like creativity, imagination and fantasy, explanation of chosen visual art techniques, definition of younger pupil age, explication of pedagogy of leisure time and pedagogue of leisure. The practical part consists of visual art project which is composed of visual art activities. The visual art project is realized at the school nursery with pupils of the first and the second classes. Each part of the project contains various motivational elements. There is an obvious interconnection among particular subjects {--} fine art, physical education and music.

Progression view of Olomouc town in the visual art Thesis is engaged in the development of Olomouc town, displaying the visual arts from past to present. It shows transformations of the significant Olomouc cultural relics, and general views of the town on the particular arts in the progress of centuries, and supplies it with a brief history. This work notices art design of individual views of the city, and uses a comparative method according to the time when these views were taken. It mentions the changes of form and conception of the view of Olomouc town, and presents the recent artist production intercepting a town panorama, sights or its parts in their works. In conclusion it judges an arts portraying Olomouc town, which are valuable to arts in the Czech and development in region as well.
