The duration of the defensive reaction to a sudden attack
Straus, Jiří
Reaction time research is an important parameter for the examination of possible human motor responses, especially in forensic biomechanics. Factors influencing the reaction time can be classified by many criterions. The most relevant theoretical and practical factors are alcohol, stimulating drugs, age, training, fatigue, subject's orientation towards stimulus, warning of incoming stimulus and psychical tension. Primary, we were interested in impairment of human's reaction time as a result of alcohol administration. This article refers to presentation of results of our pilot research project, which treats of the reaction time on random stimulus that requires complex motor response. We found no impairment up to 0,3‰ BAC, but overall relationship is expressed by quadratic regression.

Selected Problems of Diagnosis of Insulation Systems for Rotating Electrical Machines
Pavlík, Josef ; Radek,, Szabó (referee) ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This dissertation thesis deals with the measurement of insulation resistance for rotating electrical machines and polarization indices calculated from them. The first part contains a short theoretical introduction, methods of measurement and basic formulas for calculations. The second part discusses the results obtained in laboratory measurements in both the model and the real coil of high voltage machine. There are also elucidated some of the principles and causes of some phenomena with which the measurement of insulation resistance is encountered. The third part deals with the results of measurements on real machines. There are mainly discussed the dependences of insulation resistance and polarization index on the influences that occur in measurements such as temperature measured insulation, moisture in the insulation, but also the influence of measuring instruments on the measured values. It is also expressed how much these factors affect the measurement results. In addition, this part deals with some other influences that have a negative affect on the measurement of insulation resistance. There is processed a new methodology for measuring insulation resistence in the fourth part of this thesis. The need to develop a metodology of measuring is based on the needs of engineering practice, where is considerable inconsistency of measurement in the present time. Measurement, and often performed on the same machine, are not nowadays often comparable, because measurements are not met even the basic rules resulting from the findings of research and development, which were discovered in the last few decades. Measurement of insulation resistance in our nowdays methodology stagnated on the level of the seventies of 20th century. For this reason, we have developed a new methodology of measurement that takes into account all significant influences affecting the measurement. The purpose of the methodology is to ensure full repeatability and comparability of measurements not only on the same machine but on machines of the same type, in optimal cases, the machines of different types. There are the chapters "The objectives of the work" and "Conclusion" the part of the work. A very important chapter is "The contribution of thesis", which summarizes the original results of this work and results, the use of which is expected in engineering practice.

MUTUAL RELATION OF ACTOR'S PERSONALITY AND HIS/HER PROFESSION
Vojtková, Klára ; Šiktancová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Korčák, Jakub (referee)
My diploma thesis could feature the subtitle: When and what the stage should learn from life, when and what and why life from the stage. In this thesis I have tackled the impact of my study of dramatic art and of a relatively short stage experience to my personality, relations, and even attitudes. I have put myself the questions on advantages and complications introduced by my character features and by my upbringing in my actor's work; I ask myself how my attitude to theatre and dramatic art work is influenced by my religious faith, when my ambition to improve myself transforms in a paralysing self-control, and why my motive talent turns against me. I am speculating about such topics as ?actor partner?, ?eye contact with him/her?, about how blind I looked into my partner's eyes and how I have learned to draw energy from unknown eyes of new colleagues. In the third chapter a detail description is presented how I used to remove my diffidence in respect of physical contact, beginning from a simple embrace to a passionate love scene on the stage. I write that a strong director's control need not mean submission to actors and that a lock on a partner is a method how to liven up repeated performances; I write what the graduation part of the Duchess, and the whole season on the DISK stage, really meant for me and how the atmosphere during rehearsals strongly influenced results; about the realization of a new genre ? of the musical as a stylization and recognition in the Elfriede Jelinek's ?non-theatrical theatre?, about what a spectator ? and a communication with him/her - means for me. In this thesis some ideas have been expressed that have not sounded loud to date; therefore I hope to fulfil my intention of an open and frank self-reflection.

Quality and competition.
Adamec, Martin ; Toul, Jiří (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
The present bachelor thesis deals with quality and it´s influence on competitiveness. This thesis consists of two parts- first part is focused on history and nowadays quality management both in the Czech Republic and word wide and it also explains the related basic terms. The main emphasis is given on the proper attitude to these issues and on the comparison of different cultures. The second part is devoted competitiveness and how to reach it by means of quality factor. Quality is divided into two sections – the inner quality of the company which can be achieved bythe system of quality (ISO standard, Kaizen, Lean production) and for the quality which the company must ensure to attract the customer, the so- called external quality (transport, design, marketing). A special subsection of the second part is a description of the company which has managed to successfully apply the system of quality into practice i.e the Japanese company Toyota.

Mass segregation - theory and experience
Dinnbier, František ; Jungwiert, Bruno (referee) ; Šubr, Ladislav (advisor)
Mass segregation plays a key role in the evolution of self-gravitating systems. Due to a process of dynamical friction, i.e. a loss of the kinetic energy of heavier stars due to the interaction with many lighter stars, heavier stars concentrate in cores of star clusters. In this work we derive analytical estimate of the rate of this process. Because of its complexity we try to nd our estimate by studying stars on radial and circular orbits. We compare our results with outputs of numerical models. With their help we identify trajectories radii of which decrease with approximately equal rate as a half-mass radius of heavier stars.

Influence of SOA on SAP Enterprise Information Systems
Michalička, Jan ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Cihlář, Antonín (referee)
This work deals with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and its impact on SAP products. In the first part of the work we are outlining the development of information systems architectures, after that describing SOA architecture, its basic concept, benefits and risks, ways of implementing and other connections. In the next part we are introducing the SAP company and its big historic moments from the beginning till present. We are analyzing the impact of SOA on SAP product and introducing new solutions -- architectural concept Enterprise SOA and application and integration, service-oriented platform SAP NetWeaver. We are discussing its development and its future. In the last part we are demonstrating practically these new solutions.

The portability of competences acquired through volunteering to management practice
Petrovová, Nina ; Havlová, Lenka (advisor) ; Sedláková, Jaroslava (referee)
My final bachelor work which is called "The portability of competences acquired through volunteering to management practice" is mainly engaged in management competences, influence of volunteering to their enrich and portability from volunteering to management practice. The theoretical part of work explains the basic conceps of the topic, shows a various perspectives on issue. Main part of practical part of work is the questionnaire, which is supposted to find out if management competences are really enrich by volunteering and volunteers are able to portable them to management practice.

The influence of nursing documentation audit on nursing care quality
MACHÁČKOVÁ, Eva
Abstrakt The keeping of nursing documentation is an inseparable part of the work of a nurse. It is an instrument of professional practice, which is intended to support the process of care. The quality of the keeping of the nursing documentation is a reflection of the level of professional practice. The nursing documentation is an invaluable manner of supporting communication within the framework of the health care team and between the health workers and their patients/clients. Well kept nursing documentation is thus the product of good teamwork and at the same time an important instrument for increasing the quality of care. An audit is one of the parts of the management process and its final aim is to incease the quality of the provided care. An audit can play an important role during the delivery of the quality of the provided care and this is also true for the process of the keeping of the nursing documentation. During an audit of the kept documentation areas are identified where it is intended to ensure the improvement and education of the staff. The theoretical part the work also includes chapters related to the given problems that is the nursing aim, the nursing process, the nursing documentation, the quality of nursing care and the nursing audit. In the research part I deal with the influence of the audit of the nursing documentation on the quality of the provided nursing care. The aim of my research is to ascertain the influence of the standard of the nursing documentation on the quality of nursing care and to ascertain whether the results of the audit of the nursing documentation help the nurses in the wards to improve the quality of the provided nursing care. During the research my first hypothesis that the quality of the nursing care is increased by the carrying out of a standard ``Unified keeping of nursing documentation`` was confirmed and 26 of the questionned nurses (57%) agreed with it. The second hypothesis, that the quality of the nursing care is increased by the introduction of an audit of the nursing documentation into practice, was not confirmed. Only 18 of the interviewed nurses (39%) think that the introduced audit of the nursing documentation into practice is an increase in the quality of the nursing care. In order to obtain the required data to accomplish the aims and answer the hypothesis of quantitative research I used a method of auditing and an enquiry method using questionnaires. The research sample made up 50 (100%) of the examination documentation from five selected wards of Pelhřimov Hospital. The body of research in the case of the questionnaires was made by the nurses, working in the wards, where the audit of the nursing documentation was carried out. In total 46 of the nurses (100%) from all the assigned clinics took part in the survey. The results of the research were placed at the disposal of the administration of Pelhřimov Hospital, as a pilot study for the creation of their own complex standard and audit of the nursing documentation.

Baptismal and burial rituals in the context of the liturgy of the Armenian apostolic church
Macková, Alžběta ; Černý, Václav (referee) ; Palek, Bohumil (advisor)
This study presents baptism and funeral rituals and other connected rites in the context ofthe present-day liturgy ofthe Armenian apostolical church. 1 On the basis of research earried out in Armenia and in the Armenian diaspora in Vienna, a comparison of differenees in liturgical practices in the Armenian community in Vienna and in the Church in the Armenian republic is proposed against the background of offieial liturgical forms. The first chapter recapitulates basie information on the Armenian apostolic chureh. It describes equally how and when Christianity appeared in the Armenian territory. It presents the roots ofthe liturgy ofthis Church and it highlights the manner in which this Chureh interprets the main liturgieal elements. The description of the administrative and jurisdietion strueture of the Armenian apostolieal church concludes this chapter. The second chapter defines the notion ofthe occasional services and the place of this concept in the liturgy ofthe Armenian apostolical chureh.2 Baptism and funeral rites are presented in the third and in the fourth ehapter that also analyze the liturgical and theological evolution of these rituals. The second part of both these ehapters introduees the present-day form of these rituals. The translation of the present-day form ofbaptism and funeralliturgy...

Problems of rights of people with serious mental illness hospitalized in a mental hospital
