Myodynamics of the support phase during different take-off tasks in human locomotion

Title: Myodynamics of the support phase during different take-off tasks in human locomotion Objectives: Six types of take-off movement were analyzed in terms of support limb kinematics, take-off dynamics and muscle activation, in order to identify differences in motor control. Methods: 14 male athletes (22.6 ± 4.4 years; 182.4 ± 5.3 cm; 74.7 ± 6.2 kg) took part in laboratory experiment. Each athlete performed six different take-off movements (running, acceleration - first and second step, long jump take-off, high jump take-off and take-off to the hurdle). System Qualisys was used to analyze kinematics of the support limb. Dynamic of the suport phase was measured with Kistler 9281 EA force- plate. ME6000 apparatus was used to measure the muscle activation. Results were processed and statistically evaluated in Matlab (MathWorks, Inc) environment. Pair ANOVA, T-test and Friedmann test were performed to identify differences between take-off movements. regression analysis was introduced to find the relationship between parameters. Results: Significant differences in take-off dynamics are realized with not so significant differences in kinematic and electromyographic parameters. high jump and long jump take-offs acted most specifically in comparison with other types of take-offs. Relations among elements of a triangle

This thesis summarizes not only most of the basic components and qualities of a triangle but it also brings pieces of information about triangles which are not usually taught at elementary and high schools. The aim of the thesis is to make readers acquainted with those components and to show differences between them. There are solved constructional and arithmetical problems in the last chapter. These problems utilize relations described in the thesis. The topic of these relations goes beyond mathematical curriculum of high schools. A part of the thesis is made of pictures to imagine better the terms described and the relations of components. All of the pictures are designed in a geometrical program called GeoGebra. Demands of the Teacher's Proffesion on the Teachers' Voice

This dissertation thesis deals with the demands on teachers' voice and proper use of voice in the teacher's profession. The whole thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into nine sections: the anatomy and physiology of the vocal tract, voice developement, comparison of spoken and singing voice, psychological impact on voice, voice defects and hygiene, voice reeducation, methods of voice diagnostics and voice acoustics. The research part presents the findings of acoustic voice measurement. Students (only women) of Faculty of Education in Prague participed in the research. The objective of this part was to asses the quality of students' voice and their voice readiness for future teaching.

Reaction of selected varieties of winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus) on the application of fungicides

Oilseed rape i sone of the most important crops in the world. I tis the most important oil crop in Czech Republic. I the last 50 years it had undergone large change in breedeng. Ratio of grown hybrids at present tops the open pollinated lines ( planning for harvest in 2016 saw 88% hybrids and only 12% of lines). There are quite important differences between varieties in tolerance to fungal diseases and not only to them. There are first varieties marketed with gene of pot shatter tolerance and others. The pressure of fungal diseases grows due to growing planting area of the rape.
Trials with oil seed rape were established in the growing season 2014/15 on four varieties and two locations. We tested following hybrids: Arsenal (Limagrain), DK Exstorm (Monsanto), Jumper (Bayer), SY Cassidy (Syngenta). The locations were in the district Jičín farm AGRO Slatiny a.s., and in the district Kolín farm ZD Křečhoř a.s.. On each location were planted two trial variants 1) without fungicide application 2) with the application of fungicides. On the location Slatiny were applied three fungicides (Toprex, Paroli, Propulse), on the location Křečhoř also three fungicides (Toprex, Magnello, Amistar XTRA).
The aim of the bachelor study was to test growth yield and qualitative parameters of the varieties together with observation of fungal diseases and their influence on yield and oil content. We were testing the infestation of following diseases Phoma lingam, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Verticilium dahlie Botrytis cinerea.
Hybrid DK Exstorm (195cm) was the tallest variety on both locations followed by hybrid Arsenal (193,5 cm). By number of branches was the best ranked variety hybrid Arsenal, the lowest was SY Cassidy. On fungicide treated variants grew number of pods per m2 by average 6% on both locations. Average yield vas slightly higher in location Křečhoř in both variants, treated (70kg) and untreated (50 kg). On both locations was visible difference between treated and untreated variants. Yield increase was in average 5,4% (200kg/ha). Varieties with best reaction to fungicide treatment were DK Exstorm (Monsanto) and Jumper (Bayer). Fungicide application influenced also crop height, number of branches and pods per m2.
Following conclusions are made in the bachelor study:
- Fungicide application increased yield in average by 5,4% (i.e.200 t/ha) and improwed the health of the crop.
- DK Exstorm and Jumper were varieties with the best reaction on the fungicide treatmentArsenal (4,37 t/ha) was the best yileding variety on both locations followed by hybrid Jumper (4,27 t/ha).
- Arsenal is the recomended variety for both locations Křečhoř and Slatiny

Dendrologické hodnocení biomasy v biokoridoru Vracov

This thesis is dealing with dendrological assessment of biomass in biocorridor Vracov. This thesis contains data from the period 2013 - 2015. The data was measured on permanent research plots, and later the data was compared with the previous data. The target of this thesis was the detection of the growth the trees and shrubs on agricultural soil. This thesis includes the measurements of circumference and heights dimensions. The number of trees and shrubs was counted on all permanent research plots and health conditions were determined. Graphs, tables and pictures are components of this thesis.

Evacuation Precautions Focused on the Possibilities of Climbing Technique Use

This thesis deals with the methods and procedures of evacuation using climbing technique in Fire Rescue Service of South Bohemian Region. In the present condition there are named and compared particular types of evacuations encountered by the fire fighters. Further, there are named and described the most significant factors and risks influencing evacuation, the composition and equipment of teams and groups and their cooperation with integrated rescue system. The next part of the thesis contains questionnaire investigation which serves as a source of the evacuation and climbing technique knowledge and also three simulated actions in height and over the free depth out of which a methodology sheet concerning the problems of evacuation with the possibility of climbing technique use is created.

Functional trait plasticity in grassland plant species

Plant functional traits (plant height, aboveground biomass, R/S ratio, specific leaf area, leaf dry matter content, specific root length and arbuscular mycorrhizal infection) were measured for several grassland plant species growing under different soil fertility conditions in a greenhouse and a field experiments. Traits` response to nutrient addition and the differences in traits among species and between forbs and grasses were studied. Results from the greenhouse and the field experiment were compared.
