« CONSTRUCTIONS INACHEVEES » : The meaning of the literary fragment and of the incomplete, their signification in the construction of the human self. Stendhal, Deml, Michaux

The objective of this work is to analyze the relation of a literary text to one's identity, to its understanding and to its formation through the written language. The relation between man and the world founded on the awareness of one's own visibility serves as the basis for this analysis. Further, the analysis draws on a hypothesis that one's own visibility within the world is perceived as both a threat and as something inauthentic. Thus, human beings make considerable effort to form themselves according to their own principles or to become someone else with the help of literary text, to take on various disguises and masks, but also to use language as a tool enabling them to uncover their own authenticity. On the onset, such approach was represented by Stendhal's work that is considered as the founding stone of literary egotism. The reason is that, in his work, Stendhal focuses exclusively on himself, which is manifested by a double gesture: self-analysis and self-construction. Both these gestures, performed by the means of language, have a number of successors in various literatures, including Czech literature and the work of Jakub Deml. Application of art therapy elements for students at high special school (practical) The theme of this bachelor thesis is the use of art therapy procedure for pupils from practical two-year high school. The aim of this thesis is to consider the possibilities of using elements of group art therapy for the development of self-knowledge, communication, for strengthening of prosocial ties and increasing of a sense of group belonging. In the narrower sense, art therapy is underwood as a fine art therapy. Theoretical basis of the thesis will be the methods of art therapy, their possibilities and procedures, developmental aspects of maturing, specifics of maturing for pupils with handicaps (mental retardation issues, specific disorders of behavior problems of pupils with social and physical handicaps). In the practical part of the thesis there is described the use of these methods in my own art lessons.

Diploma thesis „Management of personality development“ is focused on analysis of issues in case of managers of the company Advantage Consulting s.r.o. Theoretical analysis is focused on time management, stress management, personality development and then issue of personality types follows. The analysis of individual managers in all mentioned fields is given and recommendations for increasing level of management of personality development are for-mulated.

Self-knowledge and Optimism as the Co-factors Determining a Successful Manager

n recent years, self-knowledge and optimism have been considered phenomena helping men succeed. The diploma thesis was aimed at investigating whether selected successful managers possess self-knowledge and optimism, and whether these phenomena might help them be successful. The subjects were the finalists of the competition Manager of the Year 2014. Semi-structured interviews were used as a method in the research. The diploma thesis concludes that the selected managers possess high levels of self-knowledge in certain areas. They use methods for raising self-knowledge such as experience, behavior reflections, or raising self-knowledge through other people. The managers find self-knowledge important for reasons such as: setting a direction in life, setting goals, managing people, or developing self-control. The data analysis included the comparison of the managers in areas of self-knowledge, optimism and mindset.

The motivation for the social work profession

The thesis deals with the motivation that leads social workers to the choice of this profession. It refers mainly to the fact that the social work profession does not always act on the basis of pure motives, but sometimes its motives to help people can be not entirely correct. Despite this fact it cannot be said that such employee is unfit for social work. The crucial thing is to become aware of the source of the desire to help others and to learn to work with it. The theoretical part of the thesis should lead the readers who are involved in helping professions to think about what their motivation to be a social worker is and to use their knowledge for the benefit of their work and their clients. At the end of the theoretical part I deal with the burnout syndrome which may be caused by unresolved shady motives for a worker and also the question of the proper motivation and taking care of it. The practical part contains a study carried out by means of questionnaire, which was designed for social workers / social service workers in organizations if the Moravian-Silesian Region. It deals with the study of motivation (the motivation in choosing their profession, how the length of practice affects the motivation, the care of worker motivation in organizations, positive and negative motivation factors).

Mental hygiene in managerial practice

This diploma thesis focuses on problems of mental hygiene in the current managerial practices. The theoretical part reveals to readers basic concepts and background to this isme for more understanding. It deals gradually with the role of mental hygiene in an individual life, self-knowledge and selfmanagement, and last but not least, managerial practice. The main practical part presents three case studies, relating to mental hygiene and its application in the world of managers. Research objective is trough a semi-structured interviews with managers to identify to which extent they apply mental hygiene in personal and professional life. After the discovery of deficiencies will attempt to find concrete advice and recommendations needed to improve some of the monitored questions. Finally will be respondents collating and analyzing each other. The main contribution of this thesis is a real insight into the life of managers and the discovery of the importance and the role attributed to mental hygiene.

Rock Climbing As a Way of Getting Courage in Faith?

The main aim of the thesis is to answer the question whether rock climbing, as a sport leisure time activity, can offer values substantial for life. The fundamental chapter, which is focused on rock climbing values, consists of two parts. The first theoretical part presents a few examples of values that are important for rock climbing. The practical part is based on a survey carried out among rock climbers. Both parts come to the conclusion that rock climbing is inspiring for rock-climbers as well as non-climbers. However, it is the courage to take responsibility for life that is essential for it to be fully-fledged, and only for such a person is rock climbing an inspiring activity.
