Fresh arterial allograft in vascular surgery - immunosuppression in experiment

Arterial allografts are used nowadays as a modality in the treatment of vascular prosthesis infections. Prolonged administration of immunosuppressive drugs seemed to be essential for long time patency rates of alloarterial vascular reconstructions. Nevertheless, the use of immunosuppressives if there exists an acute infection is controversial. My experimental work described herein studied effects of a delayed low-dose FK 506 administration on the development of acute rejection changes 30 days after aortal transplantation in rats. The response of the recipient's immune system to aortal wall antigens of the donor in the field of no immunosuppression resulted in an intimal proliferation and its infiltration by immunocompetent cells of the recipient, necrosis of medial smooth muscle cells, including deposition of immunoglobulines, and a massive adventitial infiltration of CD4 and CD8 positive cells. On the other hand, all the principal histological signs of rejection listed above were suppressed by FK 506 administration, no matter whether the immunosuppressive was administered on Day 0 or Day 7 after the transplantation.

Competences and Obligations of Territorial Self-Government Bodies

The thesis is focused on territorial self-government and its competences. The first part of my thesis describes territorial self-government and its position in the system of public administration of the Czech Republic. Here the thesis delimitates competences and duties of bodies and clerks of self-governing territorial units in the way they are stipulated by legal regulations. In the second part of my thesis is given an example and this example is used for a comparison between theory and practice. Great attention is also paid to differences that occur in the Czech Republic between theory and practice. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of a defence of a citizen in case a clerk or an administration body does not meet their obligations and duties; the thesis also tries to suggest possible solutions to such situations.

Design and implementation of managed PoE injector

This study deals with power supply for network devices using existing structured cabling. Various power supplies are analysed including their limitations and also deals with measuring of the consumed energy. The outcome is 24-port passive PoE injector for remote power supply of network equipment. It's suitable namely for remote devices which lacks built-in PoE support as these do not need major modifications (using passive injection). Power options including current measurement may be done via administrative web interface.

Basic procedural rights of parties to administrative procedure

This diploma thesis deals with basic procedural rights of parties to administrative procedure. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate their current legal regulation particularly contained in the Act No. 500/2004 Coll., administrative code, as amended. The thesis is divided into an introductory chapter, five chapters and a conclusion. The aim of the introductory chapter is to introduce a reader to the issue of fair trial and basic procedural rights of parties to Czech administrative procedure. The first chapter deals with definiton of basic terms related to administrative procedure. The second chapter focuses on more detailed explanation of participation of parties to administrative procedure. The aim of the third chapter is to summarize different approaches towards the concept of fair trial and to bring a list of analyzed basic procedural rights of parties to administrative procedure. The fourth chapter deals individually with each of the fourteen analyzed basic procedural rights. The fifth chapter concentrates on the application of basic procedural rights incorporated in administrative code to special administrative proceedings, which is demonstrated on the case of two proceedings regulated by the Act No. 111/1998 Coll., as amended. This diploma thesis discuss ontologies, ontological modelling and its practical usage in the project Optimization of life situations in relation to the Register of Rights and Obligations. Ontological modelling provides unification of concepts and their meanings. The aim of the thesis is creation of an extension of the ontological model based on knowledge gained in the theoretical part, propose methodology changes and create a concept of possible future usage of the model.

The Low-Threshold Club in Humpolec - Yes or No?

This thesis "The Low-Threshold Club in Humpolec - Yes or No?" deals with a question whether it is desirable to establish a low-threshold club for young people. In Humpolec there are several institutions offering classic leisure time activities to young people. The department for social and legal children's protection takes care of the young who are in danger of negative impacts. Everyone spends their free time in a specific way. The results of a survey made in Humpolec among respondents aged over fifteen show how the local teenagers spend their free time. The final judgment about foundation of a low- threshold club is necessary to be based on adolescent- aimed theories. Everyone is influenced by their psychic experience. Adolescence is a period of human life, during which the positive influence play a very important role. Taking this into consideration, the Roman Catholic Church has brought in two pastoral conceptions which are currently being put into practice by the Youth Section of the Czech Episcopal Conference and the Prague Salesian province. Although both conceptions follow the same aim - to lead one to the God- they differ in ways how to achieve it according to the target group they primarily focus on. The Reform of Proprietary Relations in the Health Service System Focus on financing

My diploma thesis deals with the public administration reform consisting in the change of the former district hospitals into regional hospitals, with the organisational and legal status of the hospitals, and with their transformation from contributory organisations into joint-stock companies. The aim of my diploma thesis is to analyze the administration, efficiency and capacities of the hospitals in the Central Bohemia region with the special focus on the Oblastní nemocnice Kladno, a.s. hospital, to carry out the financial analysis, and compare it with other hospitals in the Central Bohemia region. The analysis of the hospitals in the Central Bohemia region is based on the data provided by the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of CR, and the analysis of the Oblastní nemocnice Kladno, a.s. hospital is based on the 2003 -- 2007 balance sheets and gain-and-loss accounts, restricted documents of the hospital and on the interviews with the general and commercial managers of the hospital. From the financial analysis of the Oblastní nemocnice Kladno, a.s. hospital and the comparison with the situation of other hospitals in the Central Bohemia region it is obvious that the hospital experiences a similar development as the trend in the Central Bohemia region and the whole EU suggests.The hospital is not trying to reduce costs at the expense of the health care offered to its patients. On the contrary, it is trying to improve the quality and scope of the health care provided, which should bring additional revenues. The hospital management is becoming more responsible, which results in a more transparent accounting and an obligatory audit.

House Arrest Punishment, Its Execution and Control

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the house arrest punishment as one of the alternatives to the imprisonment and to map the contribution of this punishment for the Czech criminal law. This thesis offers a short view in to history of this punishment. The main part of this thesis is an analysis of substantive and procedural legal regulation and analysis of the conditions for imposition of the house arrest punishment and its execution. Space is given also to Probation and Mediation Service of Czech Republic, because it plays an important role during the imposition of the punishment and its execution. Author of the thesis focuses also on comparing advantages and disadvantages of the punishment and he tries to compare both systems of control. One chapter is given to overview several foreign legal regulations.

Selected aspects of the offense law

The Master`s thesis ,,Selected aspects of criminal law,, deals with the legal regulation of offense procedure and provides a comprehensive view on the issue of the procedure. The introductory part is focused on basic sources of criminal law that are further divided into domestic and international. The mutual relation between Act no. 200/1990 Coll. about offenses, as amended, and Act no. 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Code, as amended that are involved in the infringement proceedings, is analyzed in particular. The second part of the thesis focuses on the general substantive alteration of offenses and the definition of their basic concepts. The third part focuses on the proceedings, the termination of proceedings in the first instance and summary proceedings, including the legal remedies and judicial review. The practical section provides examples of specific solved cases of selected offenses, including an evaluation of the statistical evidence provided by the Infringement commission Municipal Bureau of Zatec. The conclusion of the thesis contains considerations de lege ferenda.

Implementing appropriate method for the informatics support of the sales representatives team

The master thesis is focused on the implementation of data management tool and the tool for customer relationship management to the team of sales representatives. The goal is to define requirements for these tools, their selection was based on defined requirements, implementations and customization for the needs of the sales representatives team. The master thesis is divided into two main areas, theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the description of social groups, work groups, teams and gamification. In the theoretical part is generally described the issue of groupware applications, explaining topic of the cloud computing and finally the theory of systems for customer relationship management. The practical part focuses on the description of the team of sales representatives and defining requirements to improve informatics support for their activities. After that, market is analyzed in the area of data management tools and tools for customer relationship management. Then selected systems are implemented and configured to comply the team of sales representatives. The main outcomes of the master thesis are implemented two systems, one for data management and one for customer relationship management. The work provides general description of both of these systems and detailed description of the installation. It enables the administrator actions and allows adjustments functionality. The main contribution lies in the selection, implementation, setting and description of these systems so that they can fulfill the function of the informatics support of sales representatives team.
