This thesis deals with monetary policy from the point of view of its impact on the creation of speculative bubbles and presents the mechanism with which the central banks can, on a general scale, stimulate a significant increase in prices of assets which has no fundamental justification. The thesis analyses two selected speculative bubbles which preceded one of the deepest economic crises and confirms the significant influence of the expansionary monetary policy of The Fed on their creation. Attention is also paid to the measures implemented by The Fed in reaction to bursting of the pricing bubbles, which are very different in both cases of economic crisis.

The importance of food in disease celiac sprue
Matlášková, Jana ; Faměra, Oldřich (advisor) ; Capouchová, Ivana (referee)
The celiac sprue is an autoimmune disease that affects 1% of the population. The disease is dependent on several factors. One of this factors is a genetic predisposition, which is related to the genome HLA-DQ2 and DQ8. It also depends on the environment - the period of breastfeeding, the period of inclusion the gluten into the diet, and also taking antibiotics. These factors include gluten itself, which works as a trigger of the celiac sprue disease. The gluten is composed of two protein components of prolamin and glutelin. It is contained in wheat, barley, rye, oat and in their hybrids. It appears at creation of paste. If a patient with the celiac sprue disease eats gluten, his autoimmune system doesn´t respond correctly and it starts attacking its own cells, because it´s unable to recognize the difference between its own and foreign cells. The symptoms of the celiac sprue disease include intestinal problems (diarrhea, abdominal pain), osteoporosis, anemia etc. It is also related to some of the autoimmune diseases such as diabetes mellitus I or dermatitis herpetiformis. Some patients are difficult to diagnose because they don´t have any of these symptoms. Celiac disease leads to the villi in the small intestine damage. The villi may completely disappear when the disease is not long-term treated. A gluten-free diet is the only way how to treat this disease. It means that a person with the celiac sprue diagnosis has to eliminate from the diet all foodstuffs that contain risk proteins. First of all it is wheat, rye, barely and oats. Gluten may be hidden in some foods and therefore each package must contain allergens used in the product. The product can be labeled as gluten-free only if the amount of gluten is to 20 mg/kg of food. These products are symbolized by a crossed-out grain. People with celiac disease most use the products made by rice, maize, millet and pseudocereals, because they´re gluten-free. This diet is lifelong and needed, because each offense may affect the health of the patient.

Diploma thesis "Nationality policy in Soviet Karelia, 1920-1935 " deals with the bolshevik experiment of governing a multinational empire on the example of eastern Karelia in the inter-war period. The paper examines the specific aspects of Karelia's development in contrast with the central nationality policies. Unique region with Finnish communist emigrants as leaders serves as an essence of understanding the nationality policies of the USSR. In search of a large-scale support of all the Russia's peoples the bolsheviks opted for a pragmatic policy of national concessions. The creation of autonomous Karelia was only possible because of a number of factors. Thanks to the policy of building national cadres, the Soviets were temporarily inclined towards regional administration. The success of Tartu peace negotiations was determined by solving the Karelian question and autonomous Karelia seemed to have been just the answer to Finnish demands. The region was supposed to become a showcase of socialism and friendship of the peoples. The Finnish bolsheviks were up to this challenge. Apart from the actual nationality policy in Karelia, the thesis also deals with the factors determining the level of independence such as economic policies and the dependence on center, language and education questions and challenges to...

Krejčíková, Eva ; Klimešová, Anna (advisor) ; Mašát, Vladimír (referee)
Childern's home in Vilšany is not an ordinary kind of institutions of social welfare in Ukraine. Its uniqueness makes it need a special care, which is for last six years provided by a group of volunteers from civic association called Bodaj. The circumstance, mean, expanse, spectrum of provided social services for clients have a negative influence to psychological development of inmates in Vilšany. My work is interested in these provided services, it is described in a wider cultural context of the life in Zakarpadská Ukraine. To make it closer to my readers I present basic and global information connected with processing of the childern's home, also with negative influences of provided services, nowadays conditions of this place and tries of changing and global higher quality of clients' lives. The example of the influence of environments can be found in a chapter of a development assessment of the client named Eržika, which was based on analysis of her art creations provided by volunteers of Bodaj civic association. At last I have focused my work on alternatives and different means of work which would make this environment more benign for clients than it is now. I try to suggest some art activities to make it real. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
