Monitoring of Internet and its benefits to business tools from SAS Institute
Moravec, Petr ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Rott, Ondrej (referee)
This Thesis is focused on the ways of getting information from the World Wide Web source . The Introduction pays attention to the theoretical approach towards data collection options . The main part of the Introduction is engaged in the Web Crawler program as the possibility of data collection from internet and consequently they are followed by alternative methods of data collection. E.g. Google Search API. The next part of the Thesis is dedicated to SAS products and their meanings in the context of reporting and internet monitoring. SAS Intelligence platform is presented as the crucial Company platform In the framework of the platform there could be found concrete SAS solutions. SAS Web Crawler and Semantic Server are described in SAS Content Categorization solution. Whilst the first two parts of Thesis are focused on the theory , the third and closing part pays attention to practical examples. There are illustrated examples of Internet Data collection, which are mainly realized in SAS. The practical part of Thesis follows the theoretical one and it cannot be detached.
Testing process improvement and implementation of improvements
Chaloupecký, Martin ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Hrubý, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the testing process improvement and the implementation of specific improvement. Its objective is to describe the methodology TPI NEXT, define possible approaches to synchronization tools HP Quality Center and JIRA and implementation of the application for synchronization defects from HP Quality Center to JIRA. The first part of the thesis defines the basic terminology of testing and testing principles. Second part contains description of the methodology TPI NEXT, focusing on its key areas. The next part of the thesis describes synchronization of HP Quality Center and JIRA in the context of testing process improvement. The main part of the thesis focuses on approaches to synchronization tools HP Quality Center and JIRA and specific implementation of synchronization bridge. This bridge allows unilateral synchronization of defects from HP Quality Center to JIRA and is written in Java.
Analysis and Applications API eBay
ŠIK, Martin
The subject of this bachelor thesis "Analysis and Applications API eBay" is to create application based on the use of Application Programming Interface (API), released by eBay. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the fundamental issue of Internet auctions, e-commmerce, comparsion of auction portals and term "trust" as a key attribute of e-commerce. The practical part is based on analyse of principles and instruments of eBay API and create an application based on this interface. The thesis is quite detailed and complex material that would provide a basic overview of e-commerce and as a kind guide introduces reader to the eBay API interface issues and provide support in the first steps with this comprehensive tool for developing applications based on technologies of eBay.
Repository for results of association rules data mining tasks in SEWEBAR project
Marek, Tomáš ; Šimůnek, Milan (advisor) ; Svátek, Vojtěch (referee)
This diploma thesis aims at design and implementation of I:ZI Repository application. I:ZI Repository application provides management of data mining tasks and theirs results repository and functions for search in this repository. I:ZI Repository is a REST API build on top of Java EE technology, Berkeley XML database is used for storing data mining tasks. I:ZI Repository application was created based on XQuery search application. The application has completely new structure compared to XQuery search application, all functionality of XQuery search application is present in I:ZI Repository application. Possibilities of using more general search query was added into I:ZI Repository application as well as fuzzy approaches for searching and possibility of clustering search results. Enhanced logging of application activities aimed at logging incoming search queries and outgoing search results is a part of implementation. Results of application testing are included as well.
Areas of HTML5 usage
Šlapka, Miroslav ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Rais, Aziz Ahmad (referee)
This diploma thesis describes new HTML5 standard. The aim is to show the potential uses and benefits of HTML5 compared to HTML4. Another objective is to analyze the support of HTML5 in most advanced web browsers on desktops and mobile devices. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is divided into 5 chapters. The first chapter describes the introduction to the main concepts and definitions. The second chapter describes the differences between HTML4 and HTML5 elements. The third chapter describes HTML5 API. The fourth chapter analyzes the support of HTML5 featu- res in web browsers. Last chapter of the theoretical part discusses tools based on best practices which are useful for developing HTML5 applications. In the practical part, there are implemented real examples of HTML5 features. Practical examples are described as a tutorial. The contribution of this work is a demonstration of the advantages of HTML5 over the old standard. Contribution is also analysis of support of HTML5 features in web browsers. The diploma thesis is intended primarily for web developers and can be used as a reference guide. HTML5 is the standard of the future, and web developers can contribute to the overall improvement of the web by using it.
Methodology of REST API design
Koudelka, Jakub ; Burkoň, Lukáš (advisor) ; Jansa, Václav (referee)
This work deals with an analysis and design of application programming interface (API) within the architectural style known as REST (Representational State Transfer). Beginning of this thesis covers basic introduction of HTTP protocol and REST fundamentals, followed by analysis and solution proposals of common situations that can occur in API. Sample application was implemented by following these proposals.
Catalogization of RESTful webservices
Koch, Ondřej ; Burkoň, Lukáš (advisor) ; Jansa, Václav (referee)
Currently there is a lot of enterprise middleware platforms based on SOAP-oriented webservices. However common message oriented middleware does not fully satisfy the need of integration small to middle sized services keeping the expenses reasonably low. The main goal of this thesis is to provide the analysis, and achitecture of a catalog for REST based webservices and to provide implementation at least for the purpose of practical examples. This catalog should enable it's users the publication of REST webservices, their categorization, searching, sharing and providing metainformation and therefore providing support for the deployment process, propagation, maintanance and further development and therefore lead to higher standarization of these services. The system should be percieved as a proof of concept of support system of a RESTful MOM.
Integrating applications with Facebook Platform
Kubíková, Alena ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Hazucha, Andrej (referee)
This paper discusses the possibilities of integrating applications with Facebook Platform. Its purpose is to provide a comprehensive view on this issue, both theoretically (overview of API and tools) and practically (demonstration of the major opportunities of integration within the sample application). Due to the nature of the problem that is constantly evolving and changing, the main benefit is to describe the currently usable tools and technologies, organize the available information and supplementing it with other useful knowledge gained in the course of this work. In the first part Facebook Platform is introduced, the basic source of information (especially for new developers) summarized, as well as ethical and commercial aspects and finally the present state. The second chapter is focusing on an overview of the tools that are available to developers. The third chapter deals with specific ways of integrating, their fundamental principles and use. The sample application is then created in the last chapter, to demonstrate the basic integration capabilities and other principles that were described in the preceding text.
Models and methods for network economies
BÖHM, Petr
The goal is to create a summary of models and methods for network economies including network structure, a dynamic and uncertain environment, factors more criteria in the network economy. Deeper deal with graph theory, networks and supply networks. Part of this work is the analytical part, where the patterns and using them I find the position of nodes in the network data from Lidé.cz and eBay. I demonstrate the models and calculations.
