Live Stories of Nuns, who Were Working in Social Care Institutions before the Year 1989
Němcová, Marcela ; Vaněk, Miroslav (advisor) ; Hlaváček, Jiří (referee)
This thesis is focused on the life stories of four nuns of St. Vincent de Paul during the period of communist administration in Czechoslovakia. Between the years 1948 and 1989 the communist government persecuted all orders, whether male or female, confining their members in internment camps where they often were not provided even the most basic needs. The communist regime also prevented the orders from their activities and forbade them to accept new members. The most important part of this paper consists of the four life-stories of nuns - stories which tell us why they decided to join the order during this particular period which was so very unfavorable for the orders, then they depict how the regime was treating them and how they were actually able to survive these difficult times. To be of aid to others is among the highest priorities for nuns, and thus, they were able to endure this period without a single hateful word against their occupiers. They accepted it as their destiny, knowing that they had to work in terrible working conditions and were forced to do strenuous physical labor. This thesis uses the method of oral history - interviews with the nuns of St. Vincent. The opening chapters serve as a supplement to this information and were compiled on the basis of available literature. Last but...

Dealing with presentment in practice of choosen KHS Czech Republic and the issue of extraordinary events related to the methanol scandal.
LEŠTINOVÁ, Jana
In my master thesis, I have been mapping the work of regional hygiene stationswhile solving problems and providing services during exceptional situations in the methanol cause. For the practical part, I have decided to use the combination of the quantitative and the qualitative type of research. To gather the data, I have created a questionnaire that was composed of five open-ended questions. I have used an electronic way of distributing the questionnaire to all of the 14 regional hygiene stations of the Czech Republic. Unfortunately, there were only three hygiene stations that provided the needed data. The three participating hygiene stations were: KHS of South Bohemia region residing in ČeskéBudějovice, KHS of Vysočina region residing in Jihlava, and KHS of West Bohemia region residing in Plzeň. The secondary analysis of data was used to analyze and evaluate the given answers. For the needs of questionnaire examination, there has been created another questionnaire. It was composed of 14 closed questions that were mainly related to the knowledge and attitude of respondents to the given topic. All of the 206 respondents were residents of South Bohemia region. The questionnaire was posted on several internet web pages, and the research took place from March 2014 to July 2014. I have set several goals of the research. The first goal was to discover the number of incentives to be solved that were accepted by the three participating hygiene stations between the years 2008 and 2013. During the past six years, KHS of South Bohemia region, KHS ofVysočina region, and KHS of West Bohemia region experienced the growing trend in the number of incentives accepted. The lowest number of incentives accepted in KHS of South Bohemia region was in 2009, in KHS of Vysočina region in 2009 and 2010, and in KHS of West Bohemia in 2011. On the other hand, the highest number of incentives was experienced by all hygiene stations during the year 2013, and the number was significantly higher than in previous years. Another goal was to discover the number of alcohol accepted by KHS of South Bohemia during the methanol cause, the number of alcohol tested, and also the proportion of harmful alcohol that contained either methanol of isopropanol. In the South Bohemia region, there were 670 samples being tested during December 2012. Out of the 670 samples, there were 16 harmful samples, as 11 of them got over the technological limit of isopropanol contained, and 5 of methanol contained. Part of the master thesis was also to map the awareness of South Bohemia region residents of the methanol cause, and tolearn about their estimation on being able to recognize harmful alcohol by themselves without having it tested. The results have shown that 206 people which is equal to 100% of respondents were aware of methanol cause, and that they had at least basic information about it. 45 (22 %) respondents believed that they were able to recognize harmful alcohol by themselves, and 53 (26 %) respondents did not know about the possibility of having the alcohol tested by the hygiene stations. Out of all 153 well-informed respondents, only 3 (2 %) had their alcohol tested. The last goal of my master thesis was to discover the residents' opinion on hygiene stations. Concretely, I wanted to determine whether respondents would use a guide on how to report a complaint or an incentive. 100 % (206) of respondents have agreed on the fact that it would be useful if such a guide would be present on the web pages of each hygiene station. The research has also shown that 203 (99 %) respondents have answered that they assume that state administration bodies should be more helpful when giving information.Only 3 (1 %)respondents answered that the attitude of state administration is good enough.

Methodology for the implementation of GIS in public administration in the municipalities of 2,000 inhabitants
Svoboda, Bohumír ; Sedláková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Fáber, Roman (referee)
The thesis surveys preparedness of small municipalities to provide data of their cadastral territories in a digital form. This prospective regulation is based on the INSPIRE directive. The preparedness was surveyed by research aimed at usage of geographic information systems in small municipalities with less than 2 000 inhabitants. The output of this thesis is to create a methodology for the implementation of geographic information systems in small municipalities.

Changes in the administration of Roman cities in the 2nd - 4th cent. AD
Vavřín, Pavel ; Marek, Václav (advisor) ; Burian, Jan (referee) ; Bednaříková, Jarmila (referee)
The present study is administration in the Abstract dealing with the development of city Roman Empire wi th focus put on the situation in its western part. Most important for treating this problem are legal sources, complementarily then narrative sources. The body of substantive law, however, is only fragmentarily preserved (in later codes), and narrative sources on the topic are strongly limi ted. Despi te all tha t, i t is mainly the status of local aristocracy (decuriones/curiales) that can be studied at relatively great length. Epigraphic sources help to follow up especially the areal development of municipal administration in provinces, but their potential for the study of administrative development is very limited, both materially and chronologically. The knowledge acquired from sporadically preserved constitutions of particular cities cannot be fully generalised, with regard to local specifics as well as chronological development. The study also leans on the results of research based on archaeological sources.

Characterization and Identification of Wheat Allergens from Foodstuffs Containing Wheat
Goliáš, Jaroslav
In some cases, ordinarily accepted food can evoke harmful clinical symptoms which are brought on by sensitivity on specific component of foodstuff. This harmful reaction on accepted food is called food allergy and it tends to go up in the world's population in last years. The food allergy affects especially children as well as adults. The important role in the food allergy plays wheat and foodstuff containing components of wheat. Wheat allergens from flour is already well-known, but man accepts wheat in food in the treated form (heat treated food) what can decrease or increase allergenicity. Moreover, enzymes presented in gastrointestinal tract of man can influence allergenicity of wheat allergens too. The goal of this thesis is characterization of allergens presented in heat treated wheat foodstuff and in wheat foodstuff digested by enzymes in gastrointestinal tract of man. Characterization of these altered and newly produced allergens can help find better diagnostic techniques, increase specificity of detection of IgE antibodies, enable pointed therapy of allergic patients or find and apply new and suitable diet.

The Process of Entrolling Children to the Pre-school education
Švarcová, Libuše ; Kroláková, Dagmar (referee) ; Burianová, Jana (advisor)
The final bachelor work is particularly concerned with the process of enrolling children to the pre-school education and with finding out circumstances influencing this process. It considers the way of taking children into nursery schools complying with all legal regulations and emphasizing the Convention on the Rights of the Children, and it draws attention to the different wording of the law on the children's enrolments. It maps hitherto progress, disproportions between the number of applicants and capacitive possibilities of the nursery schools when formulation and use of criteria for enrolling children do not solve the problems with insufficiency of posts in nursery schools. The bachelor work is based on the knowledge included in available literature and legal regulations, my own practice and experience. It compares results of my own research and nation-wide data. It brings up a comprehensive methodical material which in compliance with law could help headmasters of nursery schools in decision-making on administrative action. Using exploratory methods, my own research is assessing if problems related with enrolling children and with capacity of nursery schools are regional or if they are occurring in the whole ČR, and how they are treated.

The Nature and the Meaning of the Moods in the Fundamental Ontology of Heidegger
Mudrová, Dana ; Tengelyi, Laszlo (advisor) ; Wunsch, Matthias (referee)
My thesis serves as a summary of Heidegger's early texts dealing with the motif of "being in a mood" (Befindlichkeit, resp. Stimmung). We can categorize these texts as belonging to Heidegger's fundamental ontology period, originating before the so-called "turn" in his thinking (Die Kehre). I do not treat "being in a mood" and Stimmung merely from the perspective of their essence and structure, but also from the perspective of the methodical function of this concept for the conception of fundamental ontology. The thesis is also led by the issue of the origin of "being in the mood". By developing the structure and functions of "being in the mood" in fundamental ontology, we can clarify why to even posit this question and also what we can discern about "being in the mood" from Heidegger's texts.

Costing as a tool for costs management
KALKUŠOVÁ, Renata
This work deals with the issues of the formation and use of costings within the corporate practice. The aim is to create final costings of a selected cost unit (one hour of work of a wheeled excavator) and to evaluate the cost effectiveness and its profitability for the company. The theoretical section of the work focuses on basic terminology and it treats the importance of costings, classification of costs, types of costings, the methods of evaluation of effectiveness and the possible role of the costings within the analysis of the break-even point. The actual costing was compiled in the form of absorption (full) and variable costs. The work is based on the billed items of the costs which were all transferred to the direct and indirect costs. For the allocation of general management and administration costs and the manufacturing costs, the natural allocation basis worked hours was chosen. The obtained data provided the basis for the evaluation of the profitability of the product and for the calculation of the profit in the absolute amount with regard to different prices for one hour of work. The main result of the research was that the amount charged for the product does not reach its complete output expenses. Using the analysis of break-event point, we specified the volumes of output and its prices needed so that the product could make a profit.

Prepositions in Romanian
Chiroiu, Ralu ; Valentová, Libuše (advisor) ; Našinec, Jiří (referee)
Prepositions in romanian treats analysis of prepositions, comparation of preposition use in romanian and czech language and their resulting translation in czech language. For this purpose have been selected three kinds of texts, each one din different domai n : bellet r i t i c , a d mi n i s t r at i v e and scientifi c l i t e r a t u r e . Thesis consists from two parts. In theoretic one are examined problems of prepositions in romanian and czech language from academical point of view, definitions and classifications of this morphological categories. In practical one were analysed chosen texts from point of view of translation and practical use of prepositions. From b e l l e t r i s t i c l i t e r a t u r e were chosen two p i e c e s , Baltagul - Tř i j e z d c i , from Mihail Sadoveanu and Întoarcerea huliganului - Chuligánův návrat, from Norman Manea. Choosing of this two texts was motivated by need of underline differences between romanian and czech language in use of prepositions in different historical periods: 1930 (or 1938) and 2003 (or 2008). From the domain of administrative l i t erature was chosen Declaražia Universală a Drepturilor Omului - Deklarace práv člověka a občana. Original version was written in english and consequently it was translated in different languages of the world. S c i...
