Influence of transportation on quality of delivered food (Experience of boarders)
ŽUFOVÁ, Pavlína
In this bachelor thesis I deal with the influence of transport on quality of distributed food with focus on experience of the boarders. The paper is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is concerned with the HACCP system representing the preventive measures that serve for provision of health harmlessness of food in processes related to its production, treatment, storing and transport. This system is required as a part of every catering establishment. The work analyses the legislation and is concerned with duties of the operators and the persons who carry out epidemiologically serious activities while it focuses on the maintenance of their personal hygiene. In the final work I point out the potential but in fact threatening health danger of food. I classify these food risks and suggest some possibilities of elimination of such risks. The final work studies the alimentary infections that are caused mostly by wrong technological treatment or ignoring the hygienic rules. In the work I introduce and point out the hygienic requirements that should be respected, followed and fulfilled in the process and preparation of food. I further describe transport wrapping, transport of food itself and the rules of food delivery and its serving. In the practical part I use the theoretical findings from the first part of this bachelor thesis. In this part I make a brief description of the main university canteen. The K2 refectory is described in more details and I analyse the process from filling into the food containers to the process of serving the food. Simultaneously, I emphasize the temperature of particular dishes that has to be kept during the transport as well as during the process of serving. For comparison and evaluation of the results I chose a quantitative research method. This method was realised in a form of a questionnaire. I distributed the questionnaires personally to the students of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies, in building of which the K2 refectory is placed, and the students addressed near the main university canteen. The questionnaire was anonymous and contained 21 close-ended questions. Both research samples received the same questionnaires that differed only in the sequence of particular questions. In total, 220 questionnaires were handed out, 110 in each place. The percentage of questionnaires returned was 100 %. Considering the fact that I eliminated two questionnaires from the K2 refectory and five questionnaires from the main university canteen due to their wrong completing, the real percentage of questionnaires returned in the K2 refectory was 98 % and in the main university canteen 95 %. The particular data obtained in the questionnaires were further processed in Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Office Word. The aim of this work was to chart the experience of the boarders in the K2 refectory who consume fresh, although delivered food. The process of transportation could debase food therefore the quality of food might decrease. The experience of these students were subsequently compared with the experience of students who board in the main university canteen where the food is prepared (cooked) and consumed immediately. Based on two main goals, I determined three hypotheses: Hypothesis number 1: Transportation of food has negative influence on the sensorial qualities of food. On the basis of the statistical testing, this hypothesis was rejected. Hypothesis number 2: Students prefer fresh food. After the statistical testing, this hypothesis is valid. Hypothesis number 3: Students do not feel the difference between fresh and delivered food. This hypothesis is valid as well. The results gained and processed during my research will be presented to the university canteen staff that could use the findings in practice.

The impact of interspecific hybridization on fitness of Sturgeons
ŠACHLOVÁ, Hana
Sturgeons (order Acipenseriformes) are supposed to be one of the oldest groups of vertebrates still living on our planet. Moreover, their polyploid ancestry makes them very susceptible for interspecifc hybridization. These interspecific and intergeneric hybrids have been already described in nature as well as in captivity. Nevertheless, the fitness of sturgeon hybrids in comparison with pure species has not been studied yet even though it can have significant impact on sturgeon aquaculture production. The main goal of this study was to investigate and compare reproductive features (fertilization rate and hatching rate), survival rate and growth rate of artificially produced hybrids of Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) and Russian sturgeon (A. gueldenstaedtii) with their pure parental species. The experiment was performed till 262 day after hatching. It was supposed that these observed features could have significant impact on fitness of analyzed individual/groups. The highest reproductive features had hybrid between Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) females and Russian sturgeon (A. gueldenstaedtii) males while purebred group of Russian sturgeon displayed the lowest values of fertilization and hatching rate. At the beginning of the experiment, the highest survival rate was shown by purebred groups of Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) and Russian sturgeon (A. gueldenstaedtii), but this trend were slightly changed after 37th day post hatching. At the end of the experiment, the lowest value of survival rate was shown by purebred group of Russian sturgeon (A. gueldenstaedtii). Similarly, the lowest growth rate was also owned by purebred group of Russian sturgeon (A. gueldenstaedtii). In contrast, the best total growth rate was observed for hybrids between Russian sturgeon and Siberian sturgeon (A. geuldenstaedtii × A. baerii ) even though they grew slower until 101st day after hatching. Therefore, given the evidence discussed, this kind of hybrid could be suggested for intensive aquaculture and might be also suitable for polycultures stock. Finally, breeding of sturgeon hybrids might be seen as an effective alternative to pure species in sturgeon aquaculture, but suitable kind of hybrid must be selected.

Approach of the Czech Republic to Developing Countries (Analysis using CDI index)
Řehořová, Zuzana ; Janský, Petr (advisor) ; Todica, Doina (referee)
The aim of this work is to evaluate and compare the Czech Republic approach to developing countries. The evaluation is mainly based on Commitment to Development Index. Commitment to Development Index assesses 22 OECD DAC member countries on their overall approach to developing countries. It is published annually by the Center for Global Development. I computed and partly estimated the index for the Czech Republic and consequently compared and commented the results. The Czech Republic score is slightly below those of all EU member countries included in the index finally ending up at 20th place out of 23 countries. The Czech Republic scores well in environment and trade component and badly in trade. I also made some comments on the design of the index.

Some Notes on Breaking German Word-Formation Rules in the Language of Advertising
Chmelařová, Eliška ; Vachková, Marie (advisor) ; Berglová, Eva (referee)
In this thesis has been considered that the language of advertising should be viewed as an autonomous functional style due to its unique formulations. Existing literature which is concerned with the language of German advertising or advertising in general provides to this subject ambiguous information. My goal was to compare interpretations of different authors and on the strength of my own collection of examples to assess if the language of advertising is an autonomous functional style. This work focuses on breaking German word-formation rules especially on elements of spoken language, occasionalismus and comparison of adjectives. It was considered the function of the language of advertising as well which hangs nearly together with the choice of expressions. The function turned out to be the decisive argument by setting of the functional style.

Merger of a parent company and its subsidiary and its specifics compared to the general regulation of mergers
Trnka, Filip ; Čech, Petr (advisor) ; Štenglová, Ivanka (referee)
Merger of a parent company and its subsidiary and its specificity compared to the general regulation of mergers The topic of this diploma thesis are the mergers between parent companies and subsidiaries. In my view, this is a very relevant topic nowadays which can be often faced in practice. The aim of this thesis is above all to describe the differences between this type of mergers and the other types (it is not my aim to describe the whole process of mergers between parent companies and subisdiaries step by step as a large part of regulation of this process is similar to the general merger process regulation). This thesis is divided into eight main chapters. In the first chapter current regulation and its historical development are outlined. The aim of the second chapter is to compare the incentives which lead to mergers between parent companies and subsidiaries and the incentives which lead to the other mergers. Of course, both partly overlap. However, there exist some differences, which are described in this chapter. Chapter three deals with the mergers between parent and subsidiary joint stock companies. To a large extent it consists of the analysis of the simplified approval process of such merger, which is included in the Czech legislature. Furthermore it includes the analysis of the share...

Stability of the field of view uniformity in gamma kamera Infinia
KOLÁŘOVÁ, Hana
The methods of field-of-view uniformity measurement on Infinia scintillation cameras as applied within the daily quality control exercise are described, and the results are evaluated against the limiting levels specified by the manufacturer. Uniformity is a basic parameter describing the scintillation camera image quality. In order to assure a smooth and continuous operation of nuclear medicine departments, instrumentation must comply with quality requirements for the examination of patients. For Infinia scintillation cameras the manufacturer recommends their planar integral uniformity to be tested on a day-by-day basis. Infinia cameras are parts of SPECT/CT systems. If the planar parameters of the SPECT system are not very good, planar imaging is slightly affected but SPECT images in the tomographic mode can be ruined altogether. Two methods exist for uniformity measurement, using either a point source of ionizing radiation or a planar source of ionizing radiation, respectively. The main objective of this project was to collect measuring data from several departments, compare them and ascertain whether the data exceed the limit specified by the manufacturer. From the field-of-view uniformity measurements it can be concluded unambiguously that the limits specified by the manufacturer of the Infinia scintillation cameras were never exceeded. In other words, the performance of the detection technology was never so poor as to affect adversely the diagnostic information derived from the system. In conclusion, information gained within this work attests to the reliability of Infinia scintillation cameras.

Vývoj a význam ekologického zemědělství v Jihomoravském kraji
Klenková, Tereza
The objective is to evaluate a development and the importance of the organic agriculture and organic food in South Moravian Region. The identified details were than compared with other regions of the Czech Republic, or the whole country. The South Moravian Region due to its position belongs to the areas with a low proportion of organic areas, but since 2008 there are absolutely the greatest areas of arable land and permanent crops (there are more than 95 % of the total area of vineyards), but the smallest area of permanent grassland. This region produces 85 % of all organic grown vegetables. There is dominated sheep farming, followed by cattle farming.Typical for the South Moravian Region are vineyards and wineries, and therefore an integral part of thesis is the evaluation of wine production, especially organic wine in this region.

The purpose of this thesis was to design and implement an association football (soccer) match simulator and to compare the resulting implementation with other programs of similar function. A model after which both out eld players and goalkeepers play in an association football match was designed. It is possible to run the program in an interactive mode, whereby the players of one of the teams are controlled by the user, or to spectate a match of arti cial intelligencies. Included in the simulation are the physics of the football and deflections off the crossbar and the posts.

The story of Wang Zhaojun in Cao Yu's eponymous drama
