Comparison of seasonal changes of ecophysiological characteristic of two selected trees under stress of the urban environment
ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, Lenka
This thesis deals with the study of impact of stress to the two types of broadleaved trees in urban environment during the growing season. The studied species were Small-leaved Lime (Tilia cordata) and London Planetree (Platanus acerifolia). Trees are the important part of the urban environment both from an aesthetic standpoint and from the standpoint of the reduction of negative effects of the urban environment. However, these trees are under the constant influence of stress factors with which they have to deal (air pollution, water, temperature). Some trees deal with stress better but some worse. Because of this fact, two different types of trees were selected, which are able to deal with stress by their own way. As indicators of physiological state of plants under stress, the content of photosynthetic pigments and photochemical efficiency of PS II (QY and QY') were monitored at individual trees. The measurements were carried out always two days consecutively from May to September 2013 in Jiráskovo nábřeží in České Budějovice. Every month, the spectrophotometric measurement to determine the pigments in a leaf was carried out. For the spectrophotometric measurements, twenty-four leaves were measured in total; for the fluorescent measurement, thirty leaves were measured in total. The obtained values of both methods were processed and evaluated by graphs, which together with the average values show the statistic demonstrability of difference between the measured trees in city. According to these measured values, Small-leaved Lime seemed to be more vital at a given location, although London Planetree is marked in the literature as more resistant one towards the urban stress.

Profitabilty and costs of banking products in the Czech market
Šútorová, Barbora ; Janský, Petr (referee) ; Teplý, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is aimed to be an accurate and detailed analysis of profitability and costs of bank deposits and loans for individual clients in the Czech market with possibility to make a comparison of the advantages of the Czech banks' products. Moreover, in general, the thesis tries to refute or confirm the criticism about the magnitude of bank fees in the Czech Republic. The principle of the analysis is based on a comparative tool designed in MS Excel containing defined parameters in the form of actual fees and interest rates and the appropriate formulas of financial mathematics, thanks to which, it is able to calculate the return on the deposit or total costs of loan products. The final amount is calculated for specific flexibly entered inputs such as the amount of the deposit or loan repayment period. This tool is an electronic attachment to this work.

Measurement of effective deployment format for lines in RAKO III
Blažíček, Martin ; Svobodová, Hana (advisor) ; Růžička, Václav (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the optimal production batches in the ceramic industry and to some extent the stock solution. In the theoretical part I try to summarize the issues concerning the optimal production batches, then the issue of stock, then the costs and theories of two models for calculating the optimal production batch. The next section deals with the characteristics of the firm. Explaining further production of ceramic tiles. The practical part then all the theoretical knowledge is applied to the particular case of the production of ceramic tiles. For the factory at Lubné Rakovník I was able to determine the optimal production batch sizes for each tile, the sensitivity of the cost of scaling benefits versus optimal production rate and ultimately the optimal length of production cycle.

Software piracy
Pfeffer, Jan ; Žikovská, Petra (advisor) ; Wünschová Pujmanová, Alexandra (referee)
12. Summary Software piracy is nowadays one of the most important social phenomenon. The primary reason is current fast development of information technologies, mainly the international electronic network that provides files and data transfer called Internet. This development caused that almost everyone is able to get a pirated copy of copyrighted work by using any computer on any place. That's why the protection of copyrighted works and intellectual property rights in general is becoming very important question of law. The reason why I have chosen this topic is that I have been working as a software auditor for a few years. I also use computers every day in work and at home as well. Study of law provides me with a different perspective of view and because of that I was able to combine technical and legal components in my work. The purpose of my work was to define software piracy in general, but it is almost impossible without many single definitions which I have included in first two chapters. In three following chapters I have defined classes of software (computer programs) and common examples of breaching the intellectual property law in connection with software piracy. I have also mentioned some exceptions relating to software, particularly copy for personal use. The largest chapter of my work deals...

The use of sport games in geographic and environmental education
Buriánková, Martina ; Vedoucí práce, (advisor) ; Oponent B, (referee)
In its introduction, this dissertation concentrates on literature research, explaining the basic concepts connected with movement, dynamic and didactic game and the theory of the relationship between upbringing and education. Furthermore, the paper includes an explanation of the principles connected with the process of teaching itself, different types of teaching and concrete types of teaching used in geography and environmental education. There is also a chapter about the acquisition of knowledge, both its processes and the factors influencing the subject matter in memory. An important part of the paper concentrates on strategies for increasing the capacity of long-term memory, reminiscence and determinants of forgetting. An indispensable part of school teaching is motivation, which increases interest in given dilemmas/problems and prompts children to perform appropriate actions. The main goal is to create a catalogue of didactic movement games in printed as well as in electronic forms (programs MS Excel, please see attached CD). Such a catalogue should serve as a methodical tool, and the movement games within the catalogue should enable diversification and increase the motivation of students. The practical part is dedicated not only to the basic principals of choice, preparation, guidance and the...

Usage of credit cards for Internet payments
Jirovský, Jan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Spurný, Josef (referee)
This bachelor work deal with using of credit cards for internet payments. The aim of this work is to bring compact view on this topic and wants to show not only particular kinds of credit cards and their applications. This work wants to describe very closely environment of internet and possible risks which can take place in this environment by using of credit cards for cardholder or merchant. After obtaining sufficient theoretical base will be subsequently described as a main goal of this work 3-D Secure protocol. 3-D Secure protocol is nowadays probably the most important e-commerce protocol which deals with credit cards and enables the secure processing of payment card transaction in the remote environment (such for example internet). This will be followed by description of services offered to cardholders and merchants by particular banks in the Czech Republic. Based on the description of 3-D Secure protocol and characteristics of service of Czech banks there will be confrontation of level of this services. The main point of the comparison will be full involvement of all the components of 3-D Secure protocol and security of this services. Hence this bachelor work is divided in four main parts which follows aims presented upwards in the text. In the first chapter there is definition of credit card and definition of particular kinds of credit cards and possibilities of their usage. Second chapter describes ways of payments in an ordinary shop and in an electronic shop. Third and fourth chapter defines internet environment and shows possible risks of using credit card in this environment during payment transaction. The whole fifth chapter is devoted to description of 3-D Secure protocol which is described very closely. Sixth chapter defines services of Czech banks to cardholders and merchants who want to pay or accept these payments in the internet environment. Part of this chapter is small valuation of this services. The biggest contribution of this work is in providing comprehensive view of using credit cards for internet payments, allocation of possible risks of using credit cards and very detailed description of 3-D Secure protocol. Just 3-D Secure protocol is by my point of view if fully functional the best answer to all risks and is able to eliminate them. To the future it can be very convincing argument for wider usage of this kind of payment.

Růst Mycobacterium smegmatis na agarovém médiu a agarovém médiu pokrytém celofánovou folií - morfologická a proteomová studie
Ramaniuk, Volha ; Weiser, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Beranová, Jana (referee)
Biofilm formation is one of the most common bacterial survival strategies. Majority of bacterial species are able to form these three-dimensional structures, including pathogens like Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Representatives of Mycobacterium genus widely occur in the nature, although they can cause serious problems when they appear in medical equipment and artificial replacements of the human body. Non-pathogenic Mycobacterium smegmatis mc2 155 was used as a model organism in our experiments. We investigated morphology of the three- and six-day-old colonies (in fact biofilms) on agar and agar covered with cellophane using Stereo microscope and Scanning Electron Microscope. We found that a type of surface as well as a carbon source has a great influence on the morphology of the M. smegmatis colonies. We isolated proteomes from the agar and cellophane cultures and from planktonic culture. Two-dimensional electrophoresis was used as the main proteomic method. Proteomic data were analyzed using PDQuest software. Then the sets of proteins detected by qualitative and quantitative analyses were compared using Venn diagrams. As a result, we recognized 7 unique proteins that might be specific for recognition and adhesion of bacteria to the cellophane, no unique protein in agar proteome and 46 unique...

Detailed Investigation of Electron Antineutrino Oscillations in the Daya Bay Experiment
Roskovec, Bedřich ; Leitner, Rupert (advisor)
Observed disappearance of reactor antineutrinos in the short baseline in Daya Bay can be explained by the phenomenon of neutrino flavour oscillations. The analysis in standard three- neutrino framework provides the best measurement of mixing angle of θ13 and the value of effective mass squared difference ∆m2 ee with comparable precision with other experiments. The unprecedented precision of Daya Bay motivates us to extend our search beyond standard three-neutrino oscillation scheme. It this thesis, we have explored two scenarios of possible physics Beyond Standard Model (BSM). We have tested the fundamental symmetry of the nature by searching for the Lorentz Invariance violation effect within the framework of the Standard-Model Extension (SME). Such an effect could be observed as a deviation from three- neutrino oscillation prediction in the oscillated antineutrino spectrum. Since we have not observed any significant deviation, we have been able to set the limits on the SME parameters. Some of the limits were measured for the first time while some turned out not to be competitive with the measurement of other experiments. We have also performed search for Non-standard Interactions (NSIs) in the Daya Bay. Being forbidden in the Standard Model, these interactions are predicted by BSM theories for which...
