HOUSE ON THE EDGE – Valašské Meziříčí, Sokolská Street

The architectural and urban concept is based on the original plan distribution plots (long and narrow) and conservation way for pedestrians (from the square to the neighborhood). The actual shape of the building is the philosophy of two masses showing the connection of two cities (Meziříčí and Krasno) in one city. The connection of these masses in response from two rivers in the city. (Vsetínská and Rožnovská), which is most visible from the street Sokol. Because of noisy road on the south side of the parcel has been beneficial to the orientation of buildings on the east and west which is also consistent with binding to the original parcel. Two symmetrical objects continue from roofs on existing buildings in the street Pospisilova.

Ammonites of the geslinianum zone, Upper Cenomanian (BCB)

ENGLISH SUMMARY Ammonite assemblage from the Upper Cenomanian of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin realtively poorly known. Some species have been described herein for the first time: Thomelites cf. sornayi (Thomel) Euomphaloceras septemseriatum (Cragin) Eucalycoceras pentagonum (Gragin) and Allocrioceras annulatum (Shumard.). These records predominantly come from the M. geslinianum zone sediments developed in the higher parts of the Pecinov member (Uličný et al., 1998) of the Peruc - Korycany Formation. The sediments yielding ammonite assemblage represents the Late Cenomanian transgressive tract, accompanied by anoxic event OAE II = Oceanic anoxic Event II, CTBE) worldwide recorded in sediments and showing an increased content of stable isotope δ13 C. The OAE II is suggested to be connected to marine biota crisis and also the mass extinctionas well. The most affected organisms were benthic forms, due to high anoxic conditions at the bottom of the water column. Morphological features of the shells may, depending on the quality preservation shells (or cores) can be used to paleobathymetric interpretations. Most described species lived at depths of 50-80 m (up to 100m). Pelagic ammonites (i.e. Sciponoceras) lived at depths of up to 50 m. Heteromorphic taxa (Allocrioceras) have occurred at a depth of up to 100 m.

The use of the news media and the internet in the prevention of diseases

This Diploma Thesis focuses on the use of key Czech media in the prevention of diseases, on an analysis of their levels and on the possible impact on recipients. It also investigates to what extent are topics interconnected with commercial communication and how commercial background determines such communication. In the theoretical part of this Diploma Thesis I attempted to give a brief and comprehensible outline of the issues conserning the prevention of diseases and the mass media according to the most up-to-date information. The main aim of the practical part of this Diploma Thesis was to map the frequency by which health-related preventive material is published in key Czech media. A further aim of this Diploma Thesis was to discover the main topics that key media deal with. The quantitative data collection method and media analyses were applied in this part of the Diploma Thesis. It ensues from my research that key media mostly concentrate on topics conserning the prevention of malignant tumors. Advertisements that are concerned with the prevention of selected illnesses usually refer food supplements and curative preparations. The results of this Diploma Thesis further indicate that prevention of diseases mass media is not neglected; nonetheless, I am the opinion that the frequency of publication could be higher. On the contrary, there could be less commercial communication that goes along with material that focuses on health-related prevention issues. I am convinced that the prevention of diseases with use of the news media is the basic step to a healthy population without which we cannot envisage our future. The result of this Diploma Thesis can be applied in the creation of preventive programmes and information strategies regarding disease prevention.

REVITALIZATION AND SPATIAL CULTIVATION OF COMPLEX PARISH HOUSE IN HERALTICE

Today is the parish used only occasionally, and especially in summer, when there held a children's summer camp and during the rectory used by the municipality for several local events - Children's Day, the burning of witches and the very popular local pig butcher called. Town swine. Generally speaking, the parish is rather unexplored, which corresponds very poor technical condition of the building. Draft accepts the existing use of the parish and further expanded. Potential parish is large and it is necessary to use it. New feature parsonage combines several options to use, so that the parish could adapt current demand and that was sustainable. There is a use for the local and the general public that there will be a meeting. It can not easily determine which usage is dominant because they complement each other. Fara will serve as educational, environmental, cultural, sports and leisure center. Will focus on school trips, camps, but also for families with children, young, single or elderly. For everyone here finds the program. The training is aimed at growing their own vegetables and fruit and its subsequent processing in the kitchen. Subsequently, these can be grown raw materials directly used for teaching practice in the kitchen, where there will be lessons focused primarily on healthy and balanced cuisine. Lecture Hall may fold to lecture on the organic way of life, among other rectory also offers art workshops. For residents Heraltice has itself parish also use, especially for the annual traditional revelries are created special spaces. They can also use the multi-purpose hall for cultural and social events or sports. Local resident, then they can use a training kitchen to pass on their culinary skills of younger vintages, or simply use the kitchen for your own culinary ring. There are two buildings (barn and the parish) of the same archetype - rectangular in plan, low-floor and high hipped roof. One object is at the beginning and the other at the end of the plot. As a volume counter these proportions suggest the mass of the two objects with the same volume and proportions. The proposal several times, the principle of inserting new material into existing environments so as to minimize interfering with the existing structures. Inside the parish because of this principle remain visible beautiful areas with arches and paintings. Most of this principle is used in the inserted accommodation of cells into the interior of the existing barns. Another compositional principle is the completion of an economic object which shape and mass builds on the existing adjacent building at the property plot.

LABORARTORY BRNO

Main task of this thesis is to create a gallery of architecture, design and contemporary art in close proximity of Brno ring road - on the edge of the historic city center. My proposal makes available part of the plot for the next townhouse and concentrates mass in a thin, high box, which is well accessible to the public. Showrooms are located on the top floors. Below them I placed block of workshops communicating with the street space. The entrance area leads into an atrium that divides the gallery into two parts. In this area, the interaction of all visitors takes place .

Thermal baths Yverdon, five senses in architecture

The aim of this work is the solution spa area includes Yverdon les Bains. The existing facility does not meet both their needs, but mainly it is very closed. Park is closed to the public and within his right in the spa area there are several other barriers. Spa Park means to me park, promenade, people moving and elegance. At this point I feel the potential that could reopen the spa park outside world and effortlessly be connected to the outside world, with reference to its historical and thermal value. Therefore, I leave the pit area as much free, with public functions. The spa itself would not be contrary overload the body, but rather a place to stop and peaceful rest. That is why I put myself into a compact mass flowing above the park, which leave the most relaxed movement of people and devote themselves intimacy baths, views of the surroundings and contact with water, the sky opened atrium. Its shape and facade of the building creates a barrier, but rather is permeable and in contact with their surroundings and park.

Modern Art Gallery Brno

Gallery of Modern Art is situated in the South Moravian Region, in the city of Brno, Brno - center. The upper part of the parcel passes into park on the hill called Kraví hora with the Observatory and Planetarium. The lower part of parcel passes into the Campus VUT Brno in the streets of Žižkova and Rybkova. The building will be used for exhibitions, lectures and a cafe will provide refreshments to visitors. The adjacent park influenced me at the design of object, I tried to keep an open space that would serve to rest and relax. The building is located in my proposal in the upper part of the parcel. Building consists of three different masses. Administration and lecture hall is located in the space the first mass. The second mass serves as an entrance hall and communication space in the middle part of the building. The third mass serves as the cafe and exhibition spaces with two floors. Glazed walls allow views of the surrounding landscape and landmarks of Brno.

Sport Centre Královo Pole

Design of building is one solitaire two-floors object. The main purpose of design was effort to conect all required functions. The shape of the building is derived from the shape of the rink. The total mass consists of two rounded raising shapes which are indented. The first shape represents the inner side of the rink which starts with an access ramp and ends with the final terrace at a café. The second shape copies the first one with the fact that it is increased for one floor from the very beginning of rising. The building is situated in the northwest side, which is the most visible side from the access communication. The entire building is covered in perforated sheet coat. Moreover, the coat graphically illustrates stylized crystals of water - ice. This page therefore demonstrates the secret of the shape, height and colour of the object.

Ageism and the presentation of older people in television commercials

The bachelor thesis deals with old age and age discrimination ? ageism. The theoretical part is devoted to the general definition of old age, subsequently it is described the issue of ageism, in other words, describing the definition of ageism, then there are mentioned stereotypes and sources, from which the ageistic positions come from and areas, in which are significantly displayed ? the mass media. The thesis also briefly covers the state social policy approach to the issue. In practical part I paid attention to the display of seniors in media, specifically in tv commercials. During 2012 was done a research using qualitative methods of semiotic analysis, in which I tried to answer the question of how seniors are displayed in tv commercials, and whether in these presentations can be found negative stereotyping or discriminatory elements.

The aim of this bachalor paper is to analyse financial balancing in reference to the company´s auditing, costs and returns analyses, selling of the outstandings and bills of the factoring company, supplies rating, creating corrective entries and reserves, calculations. This paper is focused on claims procedures and financial leasing. The company dealt with is a join stock company concentrated on the area of forestry {--} purchase and sale of wood mass. They also provide services in forestry, mostly logging and planting activities and wood mass transport.
