The Roofing of The Multipurpose Building

Aim of bachelor thesis was to design and assess timber framework of roofing multipurpose building. The building will be situated in Trebic. Ground plan dimensions of the building are 80.6 × 54.5 m and building height is 17.1 m. The building will have a curved shape with a radius of 30 m. The structure is designed from glued laminated timber, solid timber and steel connecting elements. Substructure will be solved by concrete anchor blocks on foundation strips. The main supporting element are trusses which statically acting as a double-jointed arches. Stability of trusses is securing by purlins together with bracings. Bracings are composed of four fields of cross bracings and longitudinal bracings. Gable walls will consist of columns with braces.

Steel structure of a hall

This bachelor thesis deals with design steel structure of industrial one-aisle hall with span of 30 m, length 63 m and height of the holder of a crane track girder 9,3 m. The hall is designed with two overhead cranes with load 50 t and 32 t. Structure is designed from steel S420. Roof structure is designed in two versions. These versions are compared by weight and better version is processed in detail. Drawings contain platforms of both versions, two cross sections and manufacturing drawings of truss.

Scout house

Bachelor’s thesis focus on design of Scout house a free time facility named K15 in Olomouc, city part Nové Sady. The building will stand on the land plot number 408/1, 408/2, 408/3 and 112/7. Owners of land are investor and an adjacent elementary school. The building will primary serve as a base for the 7th Scout unit "Yellow Blossom" Olomouc, which has currently about 90 active members in three main age categories - fireflies and pups (7-11 years), Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (11-15 years) , Rovers and Rangers (15-99 years). Scout troops, which associate children of the same age, meets twice a week in their clubhouse-currencies, under the direction of leader who organize and manage the activi-ty entirely voluntarily and free of charge.

Sports hall

This bachelor 's thesis deals with a project of roof load -bearing structure for common sports ( handball , football , tennis, volleyball , basketball ) of a sports hall situated in the city of Brno. Groun plan scantlings of the con - struction are of 36 x 48 m and clearance of 8 m. Hall travers bond is composed of trusses, which are hinged to pivot joints. Spatial rigidity is made safe due to sway bracings. The thesis includes documentation composed of layout drawing, cross section, drawing of production and drawing of selected details.

Steel structure of multi-functional hall

The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is to design steel structure multi – purpose hall in the town Studénka. The plan dimensions of the structure are rectangural 35 x 50 m. The height of the structure is 12 m. Hala is designed from steel frames of rolled sections. Hall has a gable roof. The hall is designed as a two – aisle. The span of the main aisle is 26 m and the side aisle serving as a background, is designed with the span of 9 m. Computational model design and proposal dimensions of the main building blocks was created in program Scia Engineer 2013. All the structure is made of steel of quality S355.

This thesis deals with design of steel structure multi-storey garage. It is the six-storey steel structure of rectangular plan with dimensions of 35,2 x 83,2 m and a height of 18,5 meters. The structure is designed for the site Brno. Static calculation is solved by a combination of manual calculation and calculation using software Scia engineer. There are the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined in the structural analysis: truss, purlin, bracing, column, composite beam, joints, foot and anchoring. The roof structure of the industrial hall in Kyjov

The Bachelor´s thesis describes design and static assessment of the main roof structure supporting elements of the roof structure of the industrial hall in Kyjov. The hall is designed from timber. The aisle is rectangular floor plan 17,0 x 40,0 m. The main bearing structure causes as a frame truss supported by columns. Solid frame is made from solid timber C24. Purlin is designed from solid timber C24. The static calculation also includes fire resistance reports of single elements. Static analysis has been accomplished by student version of the SCIA Engineer 2012 software.
