Formulation of the requisition for services related to Internet communication
Langr, Lukáš ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
In this work, I would like to focus on the issue related to the formulation of requirements for the delivery of services related to Internet communications, specifically to its most common form - websites. The goal of my work is to introduce the aspects of the implementation of the web pages (from basic business presentations to complex web applications such as e-shop or community site) to creators of the requisition, who are prepared to enter the world of the Internet. Provide them with an overview across the typical features of web applications to be able to formulate their own requirements for a successful website. The knowledge will serve them in the choice of supplier of the solution and also in the first stage of the subsequent implementation. The opening part of my work will be dedicated to description of the basic services related to Internet communications, such as internet service providing or applications hosting on dedicated servers. In the next chapter is already focusing on the specification of the requisition for the delivery of services related to the development and maintenance of websites. This includes the definition of those services, clarification of the types of websites and applications. While we are formulating any kind of requisition, it is important to follow certain procedures and forms. For this reason, I dedicated one of the chapters to specifications of the structure of a typical requisition document related to web applications. In the finals chapters, I will focus on the requisition for websites from different perspectives, such as the graphic appearance, functionality, accessibility and usability, security and ultimately the running web applications and internet marketing.

Verification of normality
Zimmerhaklová, Tereza ; Jarošová, Eva (advisor) ; Malá, Ivana (referee)
The goal of my Bachelor thesis on "Verification of normality" is to provide an overview of various methods of verification of normality. That is test graphical methods, testing normality occurring in the statistical programs and selected statistical tests to test the effectiveness of the randomly generated data. The importance of testing normality, numerically and graphically, both based on the fact that many statistical analyses assume a normal distribution: analysis of variance, t-tests or multiple regression. Testing of normality allows make conclusions on the basis of the investigation of choice for the whole population in relation to confidence intervals and hypotheses tests.

Marketing mix on veterinary clinic
Hanulay, Juraj ; Procházková, Markéta (advisor) ; Žert, Zdeněk (referee)
The bachelor work deals with an application of the marketing mix. The theoretical part defines some important concepts concerned with marketing, marketing services and the marketing mix. The work is aimed to prove how can the functioning of the clinic be successful when the efficient marketing is used. It follows from the work that the success of the clinic is ensured primarily by a correct choice of the team of employees, their professional level, and by the modern material and instrumental equipment of the clinic. Of course, the success is conditional, to a large extent, not only on the financial policy of the clinic, its accessibility, and the properly conducted communication between the employee of the clinic, but also on the professional and responsive approach to a patient. In the conclusion of my work I give some proposals for the improvement of the marketing policy in the clinic.

K-means method
Hricová, Jana ; Antoch, Jaromír (advisor) ; Legát, David (referee)
Title: k-means method Author: Jana Hricová Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Jaromír Antoch, CSc., Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Abstract: This thesis deals with the statistical method k-means, which is a part of an extensive set of methods and algorithms designed for cluster analysis of data. Results of the cluster analysis are widely used in other scientific activities, but also in marketing, management or in insurance etc. Statistical methods for cluster analysis are creating clusters from analyzed datasets, which consist of similar objects. Similarity of two objects is expressed by dis-/similarity measure. The aim of this thesis was to introduce the k-means algorithm. This is a non- hierarchical method with given number of output clusters as input. We have applied this algorithm in the enviroment of mathematical software Matlab on simulated and real data and have interpreted the results using graphical and numerical outputs. Keywords: k-means, cluster analysis, dissimilarity measure, silhouette

Cost and break-even analysis of bored tunnel of Metrostav a.s.
Hadravová, Marcela ; Klečka, Jiří (advisor) ; Uhlíř, Jan (referee)
The bachelor thesis discusses cost analysis, cost functions, revenues and profit, the break-even analysis and related decision problems. The topic of this study is important to every manufacturing company. The general theoretical basis subsequently tend to concrete problem-solving, including calculations, graphic representations and verbal explanations. The theoretical part of this work presents potential approaches to the description of basic economic values and examines correlations of these values. Problems described in theoretical part are applicated on a project currently executed by public limited company Metrostav, it is a tunnel construction known as ,,Construction 0079 Špejchar -- Pelc -- Tyrolka -- bored tunnels". There have to be made some important decisions about the basic time, technological and other variables before calculations. Determination of variable and fixed costs is based on the Classificational Analysis, necessary information about costs are included in cost calculations. Revenues are calculated from the investment budget for the tunnel project. Break -- even point is calculated for the three geological categories of rock, which differ with dificulties of boring. The thesis is focused also on various types of decision problems such as number of running metres, that is necessary to bore to achieve required profitability or determination of profit and profitability achieved by the target monthly performance in particular geological boring categories. The calculated outputs are summarized and compared, the conclusions and recommendations for a further use of the outputs in the whole process of tunnel boring are described. The procedures used for the calculation of the break--even point and making decisions about related problems can be generalised and used in similar tunnel projects, or more precisely in all line construction projects carried out by the Metrostav.

Analysis of documentation and help authoring tools
Libík, Jakub ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Tichý, Vladimír (referee)
This work offers essential overview of the area of documentation and online help, suggests the tools suitable for their production and outlines the possibilities of their use. Document is divided into three sections. First part acquaints the reader with the term documentation, its purpose, particular kinds, structure and stages of development. It shows the difference between the rigorous and agile methodology used for its creation and finally presents the position of the author of documentation and describes prerequisites for the successful documentator. Next chapter deals with online help, shows its purpose and characteristics of particular kinds. Then the division of the means of help creating is listed, namely graphic elements, help systems and web help. The last part includes the analysis of documentation and help authoring tools. It contains the description of procedure used for analyzing, categorization of discovered tools and criteria for their selection. General description, fundamental parameters, overview of main functions and the evaluation of possibilities of usage and combination with other applications are listed for each tool. Finally the analysis results are summarized and the area of particular tool usage is suggested. This work should help the reader with orientation in available tools for documentation and help authoring and offer the guidance in selection of particular solution.

Deflation and monetary policy
Vošková, Martina ; Koderová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kaimova, Nadira (referee)
The thesis aims to explain different theoretical approaches to definition of deflation, categorize deflation, define positive and negative connotations typical for each economical school, define the role of monetary policy in relation to price stability and monetary instruments with an emphasis on unconventional. The last part applies theoretical knowledge on Swiss situation, describes the interventions between years 2009 and 2016 and presents their initially predicted and subsequently real, graphically illustrated impact on economy. The theoretical part of diploma concludes that mainstream economy perception is the most suitable for definition of deflation, therefore perceive it as a negative phenomenon and calls for elimination. Each step of SNB monetary policy was controversial. The author opens the question of the necessity of intervention from 2009, explains the reasons of SNB steps from 2011 and exit strategy from 2015. However, the author do not forget on negative connotations. In the final part, thesis outlines the most discussed topics raised by Swiss interventions and opens the topic of negative rates as unconventional monetary instrument.
