Software tester of embedded module communication based on AT commands
Kondr, Aleš ; Prokeš, Aleš (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
The graduation thesis deals with AT commands and the implementation of these in modules of wireless communication. These commands are mainly used for the obtaining and setting of different parameters of such modules. A form of the AT commands and a manner in which these are sent to modules are described. For selected wireless modules, there is a set of AT commands determined together with a brief description of the functions of these. A manner of creation of macroblocks for the TeraTerm program is also mentioned; macroblocks are able to establish communication with the module connected and allow for measurement and testing of communication appliances. This is suitable especially for the automation of such a process. As such a system (program) is not widely known, a thorough description of this system is given together with a description of measuring and testing macroblocks. The last part of the thesis deals with the creation of an application enabling the user to control quickly and easily an inserted appliance. A very detailed description of this application is given. Due to an absence of an advanced graphic interface, such an application has not been created by means of a system of macroblocks for the TeraTerm program, but it has been created in the JAVA programming language.
A new security model implemented in the metropolitan network
Dančuk, Michal ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with wireless computer networks in a point of view security. It contains security principles and standards used in these networks. It shows failings of old security methods in contras of new standards. The result of the thesis is a design of the metropolitan network and its realization. In this network appropriate solutions of security are used. The last part of the thesis deals with a design of web applications created in the PHP programming language and SQL database system.
Four legged walking robot
Fischer, Jan ; Krištůfková Dvorská, Jolana (referee) ; Neužil, Tomáš (advisor)
The object of this thesis is an analysis of the possibilities of a wireless communication and a sensor‘s equipment for a four legged walking robot. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part there is a particular sale’s exploration in the section of the wireless communication modules. It refers to the differences among technologies in the methods of signal transmission, the technical parameters but also in the communication protocols. The next part of this thesis is focused on sensor’s equipment with the accent on the possibility of use for a four legged walking robot. It contains a short listing of sensors, which are available in the Czech Republic with division based on the type of sensing magnitude. These two parts make a base for the last part where I have chosen suitable communication modules along with sensors and realization wireless data transfer including control and visualization. The result of this thesis is the complete communication block from the user to the robot.
On-line Services in Hospitals
Venkrbcová, Eva ; Bína, Vladislav (advisor) ; Lešetický, Ondřej (referee)
The thesis is focused on mapping of selected on-line services in hospitals in Czech Re-public according to their availability. In the next step logistic regression model will be used, which will measure a range of particular on-line services according to their legal form, majority ownership, region in which health organization is located, to education achieved and gender of hospital director and lastly in accordance with the size of hospital from the viewpoint of bed capacity. This thesis will provide comprehensive overview of availability of on-line services in Czech hospitals and determine which factors significantly decreasing or increasing chance of their occurrence on hospital websites.
Benefits of location services for retail
Prostredný, Ján ; Kubálková, Markéta (advisor) ; Kubálek, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse usage of available technologies of localization in particular retail units and their benefits for both customers and retailers. This topic concerns especially accurate localization of customers in retail units, targeted marketing and providing basic information according to the location in particular retail unit. Monitoring and evaluating of customer's movement trajectory and length of time spent at the particular place in the retail unit.
Building and use of small computer networks
Koželský, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
This thesis deals with the construction and use of small computer networks. The first part describes the theory of computer networks. There are mentioned network standards, active and passive components. This part is also given for security. All this information mentioned is used in the second section which is aimed at improving the WiFi signal coverage in a family house and data backup solution for household users.
Optimalizace univerzitní bezdrátové sítě pro provoz hlasových služeb
Konečný, Jakub
This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of evaluation VoIP services (from the perspective of QoE) and their quality in university network. It includes theoretical basics of VoIP testing, principals of QoS, and also overview of QoE/MOS measurement methods. Next part describes the test bed and methodology used for measurements and evaluating of results. Site survey results and VoIP quality measurement are evaluated at the end, followed by recommendations that can lead to better VoIP quality in MENDELU wireless network.
Návrh inovácie počítačovej siete pre strednú školu a školský internát
Duban, Lukáš
Bachelor thesis is focused to evaluate computer network in school and college from the functional and safety point of view. It is processed theoretical basis which is used to make innovative resolution. This solution is verified in simulation application and then evaluated from functional, safety and financial point of view.
Návrh a optimalizace bezdrátového spoje
Rumíšek, Tomáš
The first part of bachelor thesis focuses on the selection of appropriate technology for wireless connection of the type point-point which is then assembled using two best standards. There are also technologies compared from two different manufacturers who use more of their proprietary protocols.
Wireless communication technology NFC
MÁROVÁ, Kateřina
Aim of this bachelor thesis is to handle the issue of new wireless communication technology NFC (Near Field Communication) including a comparison of advantages and disadvantages of NFC with other wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.). NFC is a technology for wireless communications between different electronic devices, one of which is typically a mobile phone. Near Field Communication allows wireless communication at very short distance by approaching or enclosing two devices and can be assumed that it will by used instead of credit cards, keys, IDs, etc. It will also support NFC technology researched by different mobile operating systems. Also creating a list of specific devices that support NFC technology. In this thesis a survey of the current expansion of this technology among professionals and laypeople in the Czech Republic will be carried out.
