Tato práce se zabývá budováním a využíváním menších počítačových sítí. První část se věnuje teorii počítačových sítí. Jsou zde zmíněny síťové standardy, aktivní a pasivní síťové prvky. Dále práce popisuje oblast bezpečnosti. Všechny tyto informace, zejména pak poznatky o bezdrátových sítích, jsou využity v druhé, praktické části. Ta je zaměřena na zlepšení pokrytí WiFi signálem v rodinném domě a řešení zálohování dat uživatelů v domácnosti. This thesis deals with the construction and use of small computer networks. The first part describes the theory of computer networks. There are mentioned network standards, active and passive components. This part is also given for security. All this information mentioned is used in the second section which is aimed at improving the WiFi signal coverage in a family house and data backup solution for household users.
