Petrovice Community Center

The subject of diploma project is the design of complex of buildings using hemp lime composite, in English known as Hempcerete. Four detached houses are completed by building of facilities. Buildings have one to three floors. The composite fiercly reduces carbon footprint in building industry. The design is focused on different construction systems using hemp lime composite as a wall filling. Detached houses are made of load bearing timber frame with cast-in-situ hempcrete, building of facilities is made of reinforced concrete with precasted blocks. All buildings are cellarless. Detached houses are shed roofed, building of facilities is gable roofed.
Small Apartment House

The topic of bachelor´s thesis is design four storey apartment house with barrier-free apartments. The building is four storey, roofed truss roof. There are three garage units and storage area underground. The building is located on plot of number 3800/32 in the village Velke Mezirici, cadastral area Velke Mezirici. The vertical constructions are designed from a construction system made of ceramic blocks. The ceilings are ceramic and the roof is hipped with trusses. The thesis provides documentation for realization of the construction. Part of the design is thermal assessment, accustic assessment and fire safety assessment.
Multifunctional building

The diploma thesis deals with the design and elaboration of the project documentation of a polyfunctional house with a café in Kyjov. The new building is located in the northern part of the city. It is a 4 floor object, partlial basement building with a saddle roof. The house is based on plain concrete slabs. The supporting peripheral and internal masonry is designed from POROTHERM brick blocks. In the cafeteria, an open layout is proposed using beams and columns. Ceiling structures are designed from the POROTHERM MIAKO system. The roof structure is designed with a truss with sheet metal cover. The perimeter walls in the 1PP are designed from blocks of loose formwork filled with concrete, which are insulated with extruded polystyrene. The building is functionally divided into 2 parts, each with its own entrance. The café is equipped with a vestibule, its own café, toilet for women and men with cabins for handicapped visitors and a background with a storeroom, dressing room and WC with a hall. The residential part consists of 4 garages and 6 apartments, 2 of which are adapted for the handicapped. The object is designed with natural ventilation. The object is barrier-free. In front of the building is proposed a parking space for 9 seats, 2 of which are designed for handicapped and 2 for apartment owners.
Apartment house

This bachelor thesis deals with the project of two apartment blocks “A” and “B” in the village Rudíkov. These two objects are located in sloping terrain and both have two floors aboveground and one floor underground. In the apartment block “A” there are six apartment units aboveground and four garage units and storage area underground. In the apartment block “B” there are eight apartment units aboveground and two wheelchair accessible apartments with common storage areas underground. The objects are designed from a construction system made of ceramic blocks. The ceilings are monolithic and the roof is hipped with trusses. The thesis provides documentation for realization of the construction.
Car dealership

This Diploma thesis deals with the solution of project documentation for the new Suzuki car showroom building. The proposed object is situated in region of Nitra in Topolcany district, located in suburb part of Topolcany town. The car showroom is designed as a building consisting from the car shop - showroom and the services for Suzuki automobiles. The car shop - showroom is designed as the operation for car sales and the administration part on the second floor. This part of the building is covered with warm flat roof. The second part of the object - Car service is a one-floor building covered with wood, truss purlin constructure in the shape of a saddle roof and in inclination of 9 degrees. The supporting construction of the building consist from cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame in the showroom part and from masonry system Ytong system in other parts of the building.
Newly-Built Detached House in Oslavice

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is a design of a new building for a family house in Oslavice and a processing of a project documentation for the realization of the building. The building is designed for purposes of family living and it is situated on the periphery in the east part of the village Oslavice. This part of the village is sparsely developed with family houses. The architectonical solution is designed with consideration of the building location and character of the surrounding housing development. The family house is designed as a one-family detached house intended for four- or five-member family. It is situated in a sloping terrain and it is designed as a partially basement. The designed building has two storeys above ground and a basement. On the first storey above ground there is a daily social zone, on the second storey above ground there is a quiet zone and in the basement there is a technical facility of the building. A part of the family house is a garage for deposition of one personal car. A part of the basement is placed ahead of the front entrance into the building and it is visually separated by using of wood exterior panelling. Roofing of the family house is solved by hipped truss roof and above the garage there is designed flat roof by which it is created a terrace accessible from the second storey above ground.
Detached Family House with Sculptural Studio "Statua" in the Vratenska Street

This bachelor’s work involves the design and the plan for a house with a sculptural studio. It is about a detached house in Miškovice region, in Prague. The building is meant for a family with three children, so for a family of five. The part of the house is a sculptural studio that will be used by the owner of the house for his own business plan. The construction has an irregular shape. The house is without a basement, without a residential loft, with two floors and a garage. The design of the building is based on a brick’s system Porotherm, ceilings are Spiroll panels. The house and a sculptural studio are covered by a hipped roof, windows and doors are plastic. This proposal corresponds to the technical requirements and the requirements of the investor (the builder).
Detached house with dental surgery

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is newly built family house with dental surgery. In the first floor of this two storey building is situated the dental surgery. The emphasis is put on accessibility for disabled person, construction and technical solutions, thermal engineering, and fire safety requirements. In the second floor, there is situated the housing unit. The building is roofed by two types of roof – truss girder roof and flat roof .
Guest house with wine cellar

The aim of this diploma thesis is creating a construction documentation for a guest house with a wine cellar. The guest house is a three-storey building. A lounge, which is also meant to serve for ceremonious social gatherings, staff facilities and two accessible rooms are located on the ground floor. First floor consists of several two-bed rooms, one common kitchen and a smaller lounge for guests. Accommodation units for larger groups of guests can be found on the top floor. Vertical supports are made of Porotherm system, ceilings are made of filigree-like reinforced concrete slabs. Roofing of the building is designed as a saddle roof with clay tiles and load-bearing nailed timber trusses. The building is situated in moderate, almost flat terrain. The wine cellar building consists of an underground cellar and a ground floor with a lounge, sanitary facilities and a staircase hall. External walls of the upper part of the cellar are made of CSB framework, partitions are made of Porotherm system, ceiling is made of reinforced concrete slabs. Roofing of the building is designed as a green roof. External walls of other parts of the building are also made of CBS framework, ceiling is a vault-like one supported by prefabricated beams and covered with Miako ceiling panels. The structure is situated in moderate, almost flat terrain, its cellar is sunk under ground level and covered with soil.
Christian Center Elijah

The aim of this master thesis is to prepare the project documentation for a building of a Christian centre. The building is designed for liturgical purposes, but also leisure activities and consists of two floors and a partial basement. The main parts of the building: Main hall for worship services, group of rooms for activities, small hall, tea room and a dwelling unit for the pastor. The floor plan of the building is shaped like the letter „V“, and the architectural design of the building does not interfere with the landscape. The building is set in slightly sloping terrain which forms a contrast with the opposite rising flat roof over the main hall.
