Nábytkový prvek s použitím pryskyřice
Svobodová, Simona
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a dressing table and mirror in which resin will be used in combination with wood. The first part of the thesis will be theoretical, oriented mainly to the dressing table as a furniture element, its history, ergonomics and materials. The second part will be focused on the design of the element itself, material solution and subsequent implementation.
FRP for concrete reinforcement
Blahová, Aneta ; Vaněrek, Jan (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with composite polymer FRP reinforcement. It descibes the method of manufacturing FRP reinforcements, which are their properties and what materials are used by manufacturers. Lists FRP reinforcement application in various structures. Also mentions the durability of FRP reinforcement in an aggressive environment and the cohesiveness of FRP reinforcement with concrete. The conclusion of the work is a proposal for experimental testing of a bond between FRP reinforcement and concrete.
The diploma thesis was prepared in cooperation with Atemit. The thesis describes the specific composition and properties of polymer industrial substrates from Atemit research.
Šácha, Dominik ; Tesařík, Miroslav (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This diploma thesis has goal to find out possibility of substitution sand in polymer crete flooring system by recycling car glass. Polymer crete is made from sand and epoxy resin. Companies use it in industrial flooring system. Polymercrete industrial flooring systems are new types of floor surface. It aims to customers with high requirements to floor properties and short time of realisation. Polymercrete floors are 4-6 mm thin. They are waterproof, they has higher compressive strength then 60 MPa and tensile strength is more than 20 MPa. Polymercretes does not make dust. This study includes also suggestion of recycling process to make glass sand from car glass windows. The diploma thesis was prepared in cooperation with company Atemit, s.r.o.
Study of the adheisve affinity into the wood cell wall at the sub-microstructural level
Mitrenga, Ondřej ; Rovnaník, Pavel (referee) ; Vaněrek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the problematic of adhesive affinity into wood cell wall at the sub-microstructural level. The main subject of this thesis is research work of scholarly articles focused on the penetration of resins and polymers into the cell wall of the wood. In contains a description of the principles on which the used methods are based, and a summary of the results achieved. In the experiment, several method were used to investigate the possible penetration of selected methods adhesives into the structure of the cell wall. These are fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, scannin electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
Nasycení dřeva pryskyřicí a vliv na mechanické vlastnosti
Večeřa, Zdeněk
The subject of the thesis is to clarify the influence of saturation of wood with resin on its mechanical properties. The selected tree species is beech. From the samples of beech I've created three groups, of which two groups were saturated with resin and one was unsaturated. Groups saturated with resins are further subdivided into saturated with synthetic and natural resins. The groups were compared with each other. The samples of all groups were subjected to experimental tests, which involve determining the compression across the fibers. The obtained data were subjected to statistical analysis.
Testing of potting compounds for electrical machines
Chudá, Kateřina ; Veselka, František (referee) ; Huzlík, Rostislav (advisor)
Potting compounds are used in electrotechnics to protect electric machines from the adverse effect, to improve insulating properties and to better heat transferthat is created in machine during their using. Embedding electronics into encapsulants can be used in wet, dusty or other environment, where normally it cannot be used properly.
Biochemical aspects of study and restoration of aged paintings
Hradilová, Iveta ; Hudeček, Jiří (advisor) ; Smrček, Stanislav (referee)
Every part of a work of art is changing in the course of time. Even simultaneously in its creation, when tempera or oil paint used dry up. Already this process can be considered as a biochemical change in the material. The main goal of a submitted bachelor's thesis is to compile recent knowledge about resins and protein media used in works of art, to describe their composition and, in particular to evaluate the changes they undergo in time after their application on canvas, wooden or metal surfaces and paper to their irrecoverable destruction. In addition, biological degradation of these substances by several species of bacteria, yeasts and fungi is discussed in the last part of this work. Key words: resins, terpenoids, protein media, degradation, oxidation, hydrolysis (In Czech)
COAT
Svobodová, Hana ; Pangrácová, Lucie (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Although the main topic of my diploma thesis is Kabát, I describe in the introductory chapters of my previous work, because their creation and gradual emergence have been directed towards the final project - Kabát. As part of my sculpture, I concentrate mainly on the possibilities of transforming the human figure, using various classical and non-traditional sculptural materials. The fabric of a selected piece of clothing (in the case of a coat) is reinforced at a certain point in time, which I transposed into the feathered cavity - the coat that you put before you. His work with the "outer envelope of man" in the final passage of the text corresponds to the work of Czech and foreign artists.
Harvesting of pine resin – historical overview and the possibility of future use
Bunda, Richard ; Štícha, Václav (advisor) ; Macků, Jan (referee)
Mining of resin represents a long forgotten ancient craft that used to be one of the most desirable crafts. The way of living was hard, just because the workers did not make much profit. Knowledge about this field was essential, and anyone who wanted to nurture this craft, had to pass a test of expertise. The resin was one of the finest raw materials in many different employment sectors. The resin had its place in the health sector, because it has medical effects, and it is used even nowadays, although not in such quantity as earlier. It is possible to prepare a range of medicinal products from the resin. Today, mining is classified as an extinct craft, but there are still fields that require the use of resin. It is possible that the forgotten craft will not remain forgotten forever.
Additives effect on electrical properties of the epoxy resins
Šebesta, Petr ; Kazelle, Jiří (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Work was carried out in collaboration with SYNPO, Inc. Pardubice, which provided samples resins with various additives for measurement. The work is divided into three theoretical and one practical chapters. The first chapter focuses on dielectrics in general. It deals with their properties and storyline running in them. The second chapter discusses epoxy resins, their formulation, production and application in manufacturing. The third chapter offers a view of the measurement methods used for diagnosing electrical dielectrics. The practical part describes the preparation of samples and their composition, and consequently their measurement with the evaluation of measurement data.
