Multifunctional house in Strakonice

The subject of this thesis is the design and project documentation of a new multifunctional house in Strakonice. The building has four floors, without basement, and is located on a slightly sloping land in the suburban part of the town of Strakonice. It is based on shallow foundations and covered with a flat roof. It is a transverse wall structural system, build with clay block masonry, with the semi-assembled ceiling structures of ceramic and concrete beams and inserts. It is conceived as a double-aisle layout. The ground floor of each wing consists of the establishment of shops and house facilities. The overground floors are designed as six residential units of varying size category. Both tracts have separate entrances to both the residential portion and to individual businesses. The building is designed from traditional building materials. In addition to the architectural construction and civil-engineering design, a part of this project is also a fire safety design and an assessment from the perspective of building physics.
Public library with cafeteria

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a detailed design of a public library with cafeteria. The building is situated in the developing city area of Jihlava in the cadastral area of Horní Kosov. It has four storeys above ground and no basement floor. The 4th floor has a smaller net floor area than the rest floors. The building is designed also for disabled people. The expected number of employees is 18 and the number of visitors is 150 in a daily average. An entrance to the property is on the Vrchlického street. There is a parking lot in front of the building with a total capacity of 50 parking spaces including three parking spaces for disabled. The cafeteria and its facilities are situated in the ground floor of the building. Browsing area is situated in the second and third floor. The type of the structure is a frame structure with infill walls made of aerated concrete. The building has a double-skin facade. The cladding of the facade is made of fibre-cement boards. There is a curtain wall designed at some sections of the facade. The building has a warm flat roof with a parapet wall and interior roof drains.
Car repair shop and driving school

The goal of this diploma thesis is to partly elaborate the project documentation of a car repair shop. The building is situated in Hranice (Přerov district) next to the industrial estates near a town part called Nová. It is a three storey building with two aboveground floors and a basement. The building is divided into two parts. The industrial part is designed as prefabricated structure and the non-industrial part is designed to be bricked in Wienerberger Porotherm system. The building is intended for maintenance and repair of racing cars. There are also the office spaces for the company's management and a room for a driving school in the building.
Mountain hotel

Master’s thesis theme is mountain hotel project. The hotel has one lower basement and four aboveground floor. It has trditional look and the roof is double-pitched. Floor projection looks like letter "L". Main part has measurements 25,3 x 14,1 m and it has four floor. Extension is on northwest side of main part. It has measuremnts 11,85 x 9,5 m and three floor. Facede of basement and first floor is from stone facing mansory. Facade od second floor of main patr of buildings id timbered looks like curb. Third and fourth floor are attic, gable is vertical timbered. Facade of second floor of extension is plaster on ETICS. The gable od extension is vertical timbered. Roof covering is alpen shingle from larch wood. Foundations of house are shallow. The construction system is walled. The lower basement is built from masonry BS Klatovy BD30 and other wall are from masonry Porotherm . Floor structures are from monolithic reinforced concrete, thickness 220 mm. House stairs are prefabricated double-flight. Partition wall are mostly built from mansory Porotherm 11,5 P+D. Lintols above windows and doors in facadeare made by reverse of floor slab and inside of disposition are made by ceramics lintols Porotherm. Floor structures are floating with impact insulation in whole house. In living rooms wear layers are from oak parquet block and in common rooms, toilets, bathrooms and technical rooms is ceramics paving. Wall’s surfaces are made from patent plaster and in lower basement are made from two-coat work with white coat. Toilets and bathrooms are tilled with ceramic tiles. All distributions of building equipment are covered with gypsum plasterboard ceiling. All windows and doors in facade are made by wooden profile Solid comfort SC78 and glazed by triple glazing unit (Uw,max=0,9 W/m2.K), exception is main entrance door, It is made by aluminum profile and it is automatically opened.
Mountain Hotel

The building will be situated by the village Slupečná near the Lipno dam and located on the land that slopes to the south. It’s designed as a separately standing, four-storey. The technology of implementation is a brick. The construction system is designed as a longitudinal wall system stiffened in the transverse direction inner supporting walls. The concrete breeze blocks from the company BS Klatovy are used as main building material. Basic constructions are designed as planar and out of plain concrete and reinforced concrete. Stiff reinforced concrete prefabricated and prefamonolitic ceiling constructions from the company BS Klatovy are designed. Roofing is designed with tilt roof. The bearing construction is made up of purlin system of wood truss. Height of the roof ridge, including the covering is +13.650 m (considering relative height of 0.000). The height of the chimney head is +14.400 m. Profiled metal roof covering Lindab Goodlock is designed.
Waterpark Jeseník - selected geotechnical problems

The bachelor thesis discusses the possible ways of establishing the basics of structures. Its main focus lays on foundation pads and piles. The practical part consists of finding a solution regarding two different approaches of the foundation of the waterslide in Aquapark Jeseník. Even though the proposed variants are calculated without the use of computational software, software GEO 5 is used to compare the results. The conclusion contains the comparison and evaluation of the results of both approaches.
Foundation Design of the Athletics Stadium in Pilsner

The task of thisbachelor dissertation is to describe the concept of safe and economic foundation of the athletic stadium in Plzeň, the Czech Republic. The concept and assessment are developer on the basis of obtained geotechnical conditions and the load of the construction. The calculations are based upon valid forms and the concept approaches. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on technology and working proces of large diameter bored piles.
The Design of Object Foundation

The aim of this work is to introduce the foundation of buildings and to make a closer approach to the issue of deep foundation, which is needed to replace the shallow foundation. The reason is a small carrying capacity or too big compressibility of foundation soil. The main point of this work is practical solution of concrete deep foundation and comparing results from a calculation program GEO 5 with results which we get without using the calculation program.
Production hall development center LISS - technological foundation stage

This bachelor's thesis addresses the technological stage of the groundwork of the production hall and development centre LISS. The construction is based on bored piles of a wide diameter. Chosen constructions and technological equipment are based on shallow foundations. The main chapters of this thesis are technological regulations for groundwork, wide diameter bored pile and shallow monolithic foundations. Following chapters are about quality assurance and control, design of appropriate building machines and small machinery, time schedule and budget. It also deals with work safety and health protection and organisation of construction including draft of site equipment.
Family House

Bachelor’s thesis theme is isolated family house project. The house is devided into two major parts. Floor projection looks like letter „T“. First part has measurements 7,0 x 25,0 m, It has two aboveground floor and one lower basement. The roof of this part is double-pitched (top of gable +8,500), roof covering is from Ethernit NATURA and facade has surface from Klinker belts, which are sticked on ETICS. Second part has no lower basement and one aboveground floor, their measurements are 9,9 x 10,2 m, it has flat roof (attic gable +3,700) and ventilation planch facade. Foundations of house are shallow. The construction systém is walled. The lower basement is built from masonry UNICA 20 and other wall are from masonry Porotherm . Floor structures are from monolithic reinforced concrete, thickness 240 mm. House stairs are prefabricated single-flight. Partition wall are mostly built from mansory Porotherm 11,5 P+D. Lintols above windows and doors in facadeare made by reverse of floor slab and inside of disposition are made by ceramics lintols Porotherm. Floor structures are floating with impact insulation in whole house, mostly with floor heating. In living rooms wear layers are from oak parquet block and in toilets and bathrooms is ceramics paving. Wall’s surfaces are made from patent plaster and in lower basement are made from two-coat work with white coat. Tilets and bathrooms are tilled with ceramic tiles. All distributons of building equipment are covered with gypsum plasterboard ceiling. All windows and doors in facade are made by wooden profile EURO IV 68and glazed by double glazing unit (Umax=1,2 W/m2.K).
