Silver alloy wire-bonding

This project deals with interconnection of semiconductor chips, especially interconnection using silver alloys. First part of this project contains interconnection methods and comparison of materials, which are used in wire bonding. Project include risk factors and the most frequent defects, which can appear during bonding. Next part contains testing proposals and testing of interconnected semiconductor chips.

Completion of the area Údolní 53 for the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Fine Arts

The proposed VUT Art Campus is situated around the area of the streets Úvoz, Údolní, Tvrdého, Všetičkova and Jiříkovského. It lies in between two of the Brno’s most attractive recreational spots, Špilberk and Kraví hora. The project offers a creative solution of connecting two VUT’s faculties, the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Fine Arts. An important part of the proposal is the gallery of the students’ works which also serves as a connecting element between the faculties. One of the main objectives is the creation of the Green Line originating at Špilberk and finishing at Kraví hora. As such, the campus works as a cultural point of interest on the way around the city. The whole concept aims to highlight the uniqueness of the faculties while stretching the importance of their interconnection and the need of a co-operation.

Interconnection Technologies for 3D Electronic and Microelectronic Constructions

The doctoral thesis is focused on research on application possibilities of soldered interconnection structures especially for the use with innovative 3D structures assembled using the LTCC ceramic materials, PVD deposited and galvanically modified pads, solid core solder balls. It consists of several main parts. Introduction is followed by theoretical survey of current situation and technologies. Thesis continues with introduction of main goals and with summary of successively performed experiments and their results. End of the work belongs to summary of results and gained knowledge.

Architecture in Landscape - Winery

The project designs a small family winery near Strachotín, on the bank of Nové Mlýny. The land area is 35,9 hectares and the height difference is about 30 metres. There are a beautiful views of the Pálava Hills. One of the basic ideas was to link the vineyards with the embankment. Therefore, the proposed buildings are divided into two parts - the Wine Center ( including production, presentation and sales) and a restaurant with a pension. The buildings are based on the traditional archetypal shape - a rectangle and a gable roof. The asymmetrical roofs evoke panorama of Palava. Offset the production hall and the visitor centre allows free passage and the building does not act as a barrier.

Parking building

The aim of the thesis is to design a steel structure of the parking building in the center of Brno. The plan dimensions of the building are 29 x 77.5 m including a missing corner of the dimensions 5 x 12.5 m in the southeast part of the construction. The construction of the parking building has 4 above-ground floors with the same layout and the fifth floor situated only in the middle section of the construction. Each floor is 3.5 m high. The total height of the construction in the place of the roofed part of the fifth floor is 17.5 m, otherwise 14 m. A spatial frame is the main load-bearing part consisting of 7 fields in the longitudinal direction and 5 fields in the transversal direction. The spatial frame is formed of columns and longitudinal and transversal girders. Steel-concrete composite joists are pin-supported among longitudinal girders. The construction of the parking building is solved in three versions considering different placing of columns to the base structure and different placing of longitudinal and transversal girders to the columns. The resulting draft is worked out in details. Roof cladding will be made using sandwich panels and walls will be made out of glass panels. The calculation has been done in Scia Engineer 2014 program and by manual calculation.

Optimalization of CMOS Chip Interconnection Process for Higher Current Load

This work deals with silicon chip interconnection with a view to high current up to 10A. A wire bonding method is used for interconnection. The first part of investigation is focused on the modeling and simulation by the help of program ANSYS. Thermo mechanical stressing and current density is important parts of this research. Stress and current density distribution are results of the first part. The experimental part describes transition resistance, electro migration and thermal process in the connection of wire and chip pad. A controlled current source (0 – 10A) is used for measurement. The current source makes it possible to 4-point method measurement with sampling rate 1,5MHz.

Virtual laboratory is project aimed at creation of modern teaching instrument, which should help to students of microelectronics, but not only them, to understand questions of surface mount technology and packaging in electrotechnics. This work deals with analysis one of substantial part of the project, which is creation of interactive animations helping to understand questions of a given problems. In this work are described partial technological processes and their sequential application into interactive multimedia format.

Measurement cables and connectors for audio

This thesis deals with design and practical implementation of a comprehensive test for measuring and comparing the performance of audio cables and connectors used in audio technology. The theoretical work is the part that deals with the signal, sound, cables and connectors and methods of measurement used. In the practical part are results and comparison of wide price range instrumental cable. Studied parameters are: the electrical resistance of the cable, the capacity and inductance. Was also been studied the affect of the cable using frequency analysis. It was created overview table, which summarizes the findings.

Propojení produktů BPM a BI

Interconnection between various types of IT systems used in an enterprise is crucial in these days. Most of companies are using many different kinds of applications in their daily running of the enterprise which leads to necessity of sharing data across those applications to enable all employees to make a right decision upon correct information. In my diploma thesis I deal with interconnection of two systems -- Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Intelligence (BI). Both systems belong to group of top IT systems with big influence on ongoing business and right decision making on all levels from operational to strategic. My paper contains theoretical as well as practical part of the solution for interconnection of BI and BPM systems. First part is about presenting and describing basic concepts and technologies which are used in process of integration of BI and BPM. At the beginning there is a short introduction to BPM, BI and SOA. Following part is including analysis of three major ways of interconnection between BI and BPM systems. Last part of the first theoretical section presents two products. IBM FileNet P8 representative of BPM system and IBM Cognos 8 BI as a representative of BI system. Second part deals with the practical example of real integration between BI and BPM systems. In first part of this section is simple description of the scenario -- business case. After that there is a detail depiction of two different kinds of integration of BI and BPM. Analysis of benefits, advantages and further possibilities are at the end of work.

The interconnection of accounting with the corporate income tax

The aim of this study is delimitation of inter-relationship of accounting with the corporate income tax. The study describes the procedure for determining the income tax base. I give great attention to tax expenses and non-tax expenses and their delineation in the accounting. Then I deal with the income, tax base reduction and tax calculation. The study draws attention to important changes in the Income Tax Act, which occurred in 2008 and 2009.
