It is not much more than 20 years, when prevailed centrally planned economy in our country and now, here is functional market economy. How we get to this? It was necessary process of transformation and especially motivation of individuals, which finally can see hope to higher earning right in bussines after years of dictatorship. Transition to market economy brought new options in bussines. Functional private sector is not only about politics, but it is synthesis of all elements which we can see in economics.
Analysis of business entities and business support in the selected region

The bachelor thesis is focused on market conditions analysis and the business entities promotion in Strakonice district. The amount of entities operating in Strakonice district was examinated. The activities of entities in various villages and small municipalities were also studied. Moreover, the bachelor thesis focuses on activities of Local action group Strakonicko (LAG Strakonicko). LAG Strakonicko follows the strategic plan ?Leader". The state of business entities in Strakonice district and their cooperation with LAG Strakonicko were examined through questionnaries.
The South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce analysis with respect to small and medium-sized enterprises

The purpose of the master´s thesis titled The South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce analysis with respect to small and medium-sized enterprises was to analyze activities, services and products offered by the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) to assist small and medium-size undertakings in the Region of South Bohemia. The theoretical background deals with the possibility to use financial means offered by the EU structural funds and subsidies granted by the Region of South Bohemia as this is the area of interest for the undertakings and due to the fact that the Chamber pursues activities pertaining to this area as well, namely in the form of consulting services and projects´ implementation. The practical part analyzes the activity of the Chamber - e.g. the services the Chamber offers.

The theoretical part deals with basic terms of small and middle sphere of business and business support. The actions statements of a new subsidiary are stated too in this part. The practical part summarises the history of the business Autoservis Petr Rada Ltd., firms activities, defective development as well as economic process. The second part of the practical part describes prospectus {--} focuses on establishing of a new subsidiary, method of valuation investment and company objektives a new subsidiary (Higher profits, Strenghtening of position in the Market, Satisfaction of customers) At the end is overall assessement of a new subsidiary.
The comparison of small and medium-sized enterprises support in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. The objective of the thesis is to compile a summary of institutions concerned with business support in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic and compare certain types of business support in both countries. The first chapter clarifies the basic terms, shows definitions of micro, small and medium-sized companies according to different institutions and explains how small and medium-sized companies contribute to the economy of Czech Republic. The second chapter deals with institutions that are concerned with business support and support programmes financed from a state budget in Czech Republic and in Slovak Republic. Particular institutions provide enterprises with informational, material and financial support and are focused differently according to the purpose of their foundation, specific business segment they deal with or activities they perform or services that they provide. The third chapter is focused on business support from the European Union. The most important business support programme in Czech Republic is Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation and in Slovak Republic Operational Programme Competitiveness and Economic Growth so the greatest attention is oriented on these two programmes. The fourth chapter deals with certain types of business support and compares their focus and results in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. The comparison is made between particular types of support (e. g. indirect support, microloans), between specific groups of entrepreneurs (e. g. businesswomen, starting entrepreneurs) and particular business activities (e. g. export, business presentation). The conclusion reviews the results of the thesis and gives an advice which country has more favourable conditions for starting a business.
Analysis of currrent implementation of programmes OPPI and reflexion of their regional differenciation with special aspect on programme Development

Bachelor thesis "Analysis of currrent implementation of programmes OPPI and reflexion of their regional differenciation with special aspect on programme Development" is focused on theoretical concept of business support and relationship between regional development and competitiveness. Analytical part contains an assessment of current implementation of programmes in Operational Programme Enterprise and Inovation in programming period 2007-2013. Regions of the Czech Republic are compared from three aspects (the number of submitted project applications, the number of implemented projects and the volume of funds in implemented projects). Based on the analytical part there are suggested possible reasons of regional differentiation in the current implementation of the programmes OPPI.
Comparison of the systems of transnational business support programmes in the Czech Republic and in the Irish Republic

The diploma thesis focuses on business support provided by the EU structural funds. The aim is to describe, analyse and compare the systems of transnational business support programmes implemented in the Czech Republic and in Ireland. In addition, the diploma thesis aims to find out whether the application of the Irish system would be suitable for the Czech environment and whether it would be beneficial to change the current state.
European Commission programmes for the support of small and medium enterprises

Small and medium enterprises are very important for the european economy from the view of their quantity, creation of jobs and the added value.In the first part of my thesis I'm introducing the definition of the small and medium enterprises according to European Commission, their importance, strenghts and weaknesses. Another important issue is also the business environment in the Czech republic, which is the main attribute of the development of SME. The second part is about the main types of SME support of European Commission, like the finance and non-finance help, direct help and structural funds. In the third part I will present the impact of the current economic crisis on SME and the steps of European Commission and Czech government which are being taken to help SME. At last, I am introducing succesfull medium company named VARI, a.s. and external and internal factors which help the company to be successful on the Czech market.
Financial resources of small and medium enterprises

The graduation thesis is engaged in questions of small and medium enterprises (SME) and it tries to clarify financing possibilities of this segment. The introductory part attends to the definition of small and medium enterprises and the meaning of this segment, it illustrates the advantages and disadvantages and also position of this sector in the economy of the Czech Republic. The thesis proceeds with specification of various financial resources, there are mentioned own, external and alternative financial resources. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the impact of the financial and economic crisis on Czech small and medium enterprises. The practical part is concerned with a particular company. There is an analysis of financial management and financial resources and at the end of the practical part there are mentioned the impacts of the crisis on the contemporary operation of the company.
Comparative study of public business support systems in Czech Republic and Austria

First chapter depicts the different business environments in Czech Republic and Austria. The following second chapter describes the both systems of business support and their most important features. Third chapter compares various aspects and finally there's a short evaluation in the conclusion. The final chapter also includes a list of possible measures, how can Czech Republic find an inspiration on the case of more developed Austrian system.
