Web applications testing
Svatoš, Martin ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Vojíř, Stanislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe how to test a web application developed for business Hospůdka u nás located in Horoušánky, Prague-east. The main focus rests on functional testing of the application and its readiness for entry into service. First I explain the basics of testing. Then I provide some more detail of different testing methodologies. Then I briefly review some methods of software development. Last, but not least, I explain how security and performance aspects can be tested. The practical part follows. I define requirements for the tested application. Every requirement is assigned possibly multiple tests. Scenarios are created form the test descriptions and the scenarios are applied to the application. Some tests identified errors and in the last part of the thesis I describe how they could be solved. I used the HP Quality Center software to assign and conduct the tests.

Horáková, Veronika ; Vytlačilová, Jitka (advisor) ; Karlíčková, Jana (referee)
Horáková Veronika, Ecotoxicological evaluation of the non-steroidal and anti- inflammatory drug, (graduation thesis) Charles University in Prague, Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology; total number of pages: 67 There is getting more higher occurrence of residuals of healing substance connected with growing consumption of medicals in our environment, where they influence a range of organisms. In this work the ecotoxicity of diclofenac was monitored. Four tests of toxicity were selected for evaluation of this influence - one acute test (with Thamnocephalus platyurus), two semi-chronic tests (with Tetrahymena thermophila, Sinapis alba seeds) and one chronic test (with Brachionus calyciflorus). Values for diclofenac have been found from these tests: 24hEC50 5,058 mg/l - THAMNOTOXKIT FTM , 24h EC50 32,88 mg/l (23,07 - 46,86 mg/l) at 492 nm - more generation test with organism Tetrahymena thermophila, 48h EC50 1,363 mg/l (0,7848 - 2,366 mg/l) - ROTOXKIT F CHRONIC, 72h EC50 71,42 mg/l (62,51 - 81,60 mg/l) - a semi chronic test with Sinapis alba seeds. Key words: ecotoxicology, diclofenac, Tetrahymena thermophila, Thamnocephalus platyurus, Brachionus calyciflorus, Sinapis alba

Content optimization of ICT knowledge tests in terms of current requirements for students
PROCHÁZKA, Martin
This bachelor's thesis is focused on optimizing the content of information literacy tests regard of requirements on university students. The thesis includes analysis of internation requirements ECDL on basic level and qualitative investigatoin by interview with teacher at university. The collected data servers as a base for creating new or modifying existing tasks for student testings. Tasks are not assembled into fixed versions of test, but they are flexible for assembling into random versions of tests. Thesis also include testing two variants of test on a selected group of students, but not with IT specialization.

Normality tests
Kotlorz, Lukáš ; Anděl, Jiří (advisor) ; Sabolová, Radka (referee)
The aim of this thesis focused on testing normality is to describe both statistical tests and graphical methods. The first part is devoted to graphical methods used to testing normality (particularly Histogram, Boxplot and Q-Q Plot). The tests used for testing the conformity of random sample distribution with normal distribution, e.g., Shapiro-Wilk, Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Lilliefors, Anderson-Darling, Chi-squared, are described in the second part. The test statistics, the critical region and alternatively the link for tabulated critical values are listed for each test. The simulations, whether the random sample comes from normal distribution, are described in the third part. The samples from di erent distributions were generated by Program R.

Tests from the introductory course Calculus
JELÍNKOVÁ, Michaela
The aim of this thesis is to didactically properly assemble a set of exercises and tests form the field of Mathematical Analysis. Examples will be based on themes: real-valued functions of a real variable and its properties, limits and continuity of a function, derivative of a function and course of a function. Moodle software will be used to randomly generate specific tests in a way that from each set will be generated certain number of exercises. In addition to the test assignments this thesis will include their detailed solutions. This thesis will work as an individual preparation for the exam in mathematical analysis or the exam itself.

Choosing an antivirus program
David, Jan ; Pícka, Marek (advisor) ; Hanzlík, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on choosing a free antivirus software for basic internet usage on a personal computer. The first part focuses on the issue of malicious software and is divided into categories based on various viewpoints. In addition, several types of prevention are mentioned. This part also explains the history of antivirus software. The second part contains the actual comparison of five freeware antiviruses. Selection of these five programs is based on a survey. The test consists of five criteria: time of computer deep scan, disc usage, memory usage, user interface and safety rating by AV-Test. These criteria are weighted using Saaty method and the final result is calculated using a weighted sum method.

Study of the Effect of EGFP on Cytotoxicity of Platinum-based Drugs
Musilová, Markéta ; Štaud, František (referee) ; Čečková, Martina (advisor)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradci Králové Department of pharmacology and toxicology Mgr. Markéta Musilová Master thesis Study of the effect of EGFP on cytotoxicity of platinum-based drugs Abstract The aim of the present study is to investigate possible impact of EGFP on the resistance of cancer cells to platinum-based drugs (cisplatin, carboplatin and oxaliplatin). The work follows on our previous study with BCRP efflux transporter, which suggested that higher resistance of cancer cells to platinum-based drugs is caused rather by the presence of EGFP than by the efflux transporter. To confirm this hypothesis series of cytotoxic MTT tests were performed on human Hep2 parent cell line and Hep2-EGFP cell line transfected for the expression of EGFP. Our results demonstrated higher tolerance of transfected Hep2-EGFP cells to platinum-based drugs compared with the parent Hep2 cell lines. Based on the obtained results we conclude that EGFP interferes with the toxicity of platinum-based drugs, which can cause misinterpretation of results obtained in the cytotoxicity studies.
