Photon strength functuins in 160Tb from two-step gamma cascade measurement
Kroll, Jiří ; Cejnar, Pavel (referee) ; Krtička, Milan (advisor)
Title: Photon strength functions in nucleus 160 Tb from the two-step γ cascades measurements Author: Jiří Kroll Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Supervisor: Mgr. Milan Krtička, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: krticka@ipnp.troja.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Photon strength functions have been a subject of a study for more than fifty years. A number of models was proposed to describe experimental data during that time. However, the correctness of these models is still very questionable and its verification is the subject of very intensive experimental and theoretical activity at the present time. In the present work the analysis of measurements of the two-step γ cascades following the slow neutron capture on the 159 Tb nucleus is used for study of photon strength functions. Results of the experimental data analysis are compared with the outputs of the Monte Carlo simulations based on the validity of so called Extreme Statistical Model. Comparison of experimental data with outcomes of simulations thus becomes the basic tool for studying correctness of theoretical models. Keywords: Photon strength function, Energy level density, Extreme Statistical Model

Suicides and their economic incentives
Papay, Jindřich ; Rotschedl, Jiří (advisor) ; Svoboda, Miroslav (referee)
Bachelor theses examine the impact of economic factors on suicides in the Czech republic. Economic factors were included a gross domestic product per capita and an unemployment. The gross domestic product showed an indirect dependence on a suicide rate. On the contrary, the unemployment showed a direct dependence on the suicide rate. Other variables affected suicides were a birth rate and a divorce rate. The divorce rate and the birth rate showed the same dependence as the unemployment. The birth rate showed opossite values than was assumption. The relationship between a consumption of alcohol and the suicide rate was not proved and the relationship between a migration rate and the suicide rate was also not proved. This bachelor theses confirmed the influence of economic factors on the suicide rate. The results can be specified by extending of time series.

Collective bargaining and application of the social dialogue in management (comparison of the Czech republic, Italy and Greece)
Bednářová, Jana ; Kleibl, Jiří (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Zuzana (referee)
The main aim of this tesis is the analysis of the collective bargaining process which should be helping the employees to reach better working conditions. The collective contracts from the CR will be explored to see if it this is true. Other aims are : 1. Description of the evolution of the Trade Unions in the Czech republic, Greece and Italy. 2. Description of the legal frame work and today situation of the Trade Unions in these countries. 3. Consideration of the influence of the financial crises on the collective bargaining. The tesis explores on the base of the data from the years 2008 and 2009 the influence of the financial crises on the collective bargaining in the Czech republic and explores if the salaries have economical containt and how the union members'demands change according to the general economic situation. As for the main target it tries to prove the success and necessity or its opposite of the collective bargaining in the reality of the Czech republic.

Multiphase regression
Marušiaková, Miriam
We consider linear regression models with structural changes occurring at unknown time points. We describe F type tests for detection of changes. For calculation of approximations to the corresponding critical values we suggest a method based on the application of the permutation principle. We prove that the method is applicable to the F type test statistics. The simulation study shows that the permutation arguments provide satisfactory approximations to the critical values when the change in parameters is not too large. For estimation of the number of changes present we use information criteria and a method based on sequential testing. All discussed methods are applied to Klementinum data.

The analysis of structured products
Kocúrová, Barbora ; Zichová, Jitka (referee) ; Myška, Petr (advisor)
After an introduce to theory of stochastic analysis used in financial mathematics the structured products and their pricing are studied in the present work. Particularly one type of barrier options (down-and-out call options) and one type of structured swaps (range accrual swaps) are focused. First the analytical formulae are derived and then numerical results of analytical formulae are compared with the results estimated on the basis of simulation Monte Carlo. In the final part of the work some variables like Greeks, duration, convexity and VaR used in quantitative analysis are mentioned.

Predisposing factors of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis VI.
Pokorná, Michaela ; Kestřánek, Jan (referee) ; Jílek, Petr (advisor)
1. Summary This thesis examines the impact of life contentment, general attitude towards life, and stress on recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVK) which is considered to be one of the most common vaginal infections. It is widely stated that approximately 75% of women suffer from vulvovaginal candidiasis at least once in a lifetime. The recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis is defined as three, respectively four or more attacks of the vulvovaginal candidiasis within one year. Background: The aim of this thesis is to verify whether stress is one of RVVC initiating agents and whether method used of collecting data in homogenous cohort is usable for more heterogeneous and bigger group of women. Methods: Data from woman patients have been obtained through specifically designed questionnaires with one part comprising a set of questions aimed at life contentment and a degree of stress vulnerability. These questionnaires have been completed by 329 women, a return ratio of 82.7%). Data were statistically analysed by means of Student's t-test. Results: The findings reveal that the patients' contentment belonging to the RVVK category compared with a control group proves lower, in some areas showing even significant statistical disproportion. The most apparent discrepancy has been discovered in terms of contentment...

Use of general and specific kinetic tests for prediction techniques of close combat
Šorm, Daniel ; Barták, Erik (referee) ; Vágner, Michal (advisor)
Title of thesis! Use of general and specific kinetic tests for prediction techniques of close combat. Objective Of thesis: My thesis deals with finding content validity and curriculal validity behind sampled kinetic tests for choice of human for the course of close combat. MethodI Thesis is working up like empiric kvantitative research of observation type and notice diachronic dependences between criteria variable and choice continuous independent variables. For analyses of relations and dependences among variables were used methods descriptive and inference statistics. Criteria variables were obtained with sum of evaluations close combat techniques such as composote score. Techniques were evaluations on the scale proposed by Vagner (2008). For preliminary of date analysis was used method of multiple correllations. Algorithm of all possible regressions was used for the propose of set variables and regression triplet was used to evaluate regrression model. Dates were processed with programs such as SPSS 15.0 for Windows, NCSS (Hintze, 2004), and QC Expert 2.7. Results! Specific kinetic tests reached higher curriculal validity to the acquirement of close vombat techiques than general kinetic tests. Every test proved the content validity as satisfactory. With algorithm of all possible regressions we...

The Business plan of CZCloud
Trübenekr, Jakub ; Tyll, Ladislav (advisor) ; Strouhal, Jiří (referee)
The target of the theoretical part is to provide an outlook in enterprising, describe optimal structure and a content of business plans and to give some recommendations regarding its elaboration. The practical part of this document includes the business plan elaborated by myself. This business plan describes an opportunity and business advantages of commercial providing IT infrastructure and hardware as a service. My goal is detailed description of essential elements of this enterprise, providing a market analysis, a customer targeting and an optimal resource planning. Furthermore I want to prove that the human resources planning is an essence even in the business with highly advanced IT technologies.
